I'm on Travleocity and I can still get the same deal - aprrox. $146 with taxes and fees....which is not bad at all. What $30 coupon did you use and how did you add it? I must be so blind....I can't see where to add additional coupon information.

using the alamo insiders code and the american airlines code my full size rental dropped to $78 for 10/8-10/15 out of Sanford

I finally figured that part out. LOL I'm so sad! What $30 coupon did you use? I input MUWZ056 and it did not take $30 off...as a matter of fact, it omitted the awesome Travelocity rate and went back to the old rate of approx. $975!!!

WOAH lol. I read here somewhere to add it and they stack... not sure if that's right but I figured it was worth a shot! Also I read here (or maybe somewhere else) that it wouldn't look like it took anything off but that when you get your total to pay it would be taken off... hey any little bit helps And if it's still just the 302, I'm fine with that too.

8 days for a standard/fullsize beginning 10/1 (alamo insiders code & AA coupon) dropped again last night, now $133xx . Rather odd it's exactly 1/2 price of the national res i've been sitting on for over a month.


i can't remember the last time i saw numbers so low for my dates this time of year or anytime of year we've traveled for that matter.

My dates just dropped a hair for Alamo. Not much but at least starting to head in the right direction.

10/14-10/22 using VISA code and coupon I got a standard for $232. I'll keep checking as that is still high but hopefully we will start seeing some movement now.

Ok so I was nervous about the travelocity code so I called budget. The person I talked to said it is okay to use that code but only when booking through travelocity SOOOO I went to travelocity... added that I wanted to rent from budget and the x474200 code and got a rate of $225 for a minivan from 10/14-10/21... about a third of the price of other offers... With taxes and fees it's $302 and I also added one of the other $30 off coupons codes. Hoping it all works out! Thanks so much.

I hadn't signed up with Fastbreak at the time and since it was a prepaid reservation they were unable to add it. So, I went to the Travelocity webiste, entered my Fastbreak and x474200 code and got the same rate. I canceled my Budget reservation. I'm assuming that I can still go to the Fastbreak counter even though I didn't book directly with Budget. I feel a little better using that great code through Travelocity directly instead of Budget. Did you get a separate confirmation email through Budget as well? I got my confirmation email from Travelocity. I just wasn't sure if Budget also sent you one.

I only got confirmation from travelocity. Just to be sure I used my confirmation number and plugged it in on the budget site and my ressie comes up with all the right info including the price. You could do the same for peace of mind

I just checked Budget.com and my confirmation is on there as well. My Fastbreak number is applied and so is the Travelocity code. Thank you.

This is bizzare. I had a rate of 200.75 thru alamo for a full size 10/22-28 and after codes and coupons it came out to 215.46. So I check today and the rate is 172.62, but after codes and coupons it is still 207.38. Does that seem right? I would have thought there would have been a bigger savings from an almost 30 price drop.

You have to check to see if there is a % off discount not included in the new rate compared to the old rate. I noticed on one of my reservations using the Visa offer that it was taking 20% off the base rate and then the coupon but today it doesn't seem like the Visa offer is taking off the 20%.

Example: Reservation made about a week or 2 ago.
base rate: 185.05
extra time: 26.43
discount: 21.15
coupon discount: 35.00

Today it's not taking that extra discount off for some reason.

I'm using the Travelocity code for budget. The extra coupon codes are all blacked out for Columbus Day. Does anyone know of a code that will work for 10/8 - 10/15? I've tried as many as I could find. . . . . . .
