Yes, that's the ONLY (IMHO) downside of the F&W time-I don't get to eat at some of the great Disney resturants because I'm too busy grazing around the festival.

Im there 10/15 - 10/24. My ADR date is this upcoming Sunday. Do you think it will bve hard to get Epcot dinners during F & W ? I have a bunch of those on my list.

My two sons (13 and 17) and I will be going October 13-17, during the Food and Wine festival. We went about this time in 08 and had so much fun! Might make just one or two ADR's, trying to decide which ones then I will email my TA to set that up for me.

This will be our first time going in October as well. But from what I've read , the holiday weekend will probably be a little busier. So my first guess would be probably, yes. There are 5 in my group, so I'm not taking any chances. I had everyone going with us to make up their minds quick. It's still a little early in the game; and if it's just you and the GUY, then I'm sure you'll be fine. Tell him not to wait too long though.

We finally picked dates. The 9th to 16th. But we haven't booked yet. I'm hoping for a free dining offer. We usually pick dates that happen not to coincide with free dining but last year we got lucky.

I booked on Sunday night! Family of 5 staying at POR from the 16th-24th. Right now I booked resort only with a plan of using GADGADD tickets with an upgrade. If free dining comes along, I'll have to crunch the numbers to see what our best deal is. I made a bunch of ADRs just in case, but will cancel several if no free dining.

My fiance and I got engaged on Oct 16th 2009...

We are planning a trip to celebrate Oct 16th to Oct 24th

We are staying offsite at the Fountains via my parents timeshare.

btw... is there a site where you can find out when you can ADR... also, its been a while for me.... Are ADRs needed for lunches???

Jumping on this bandwagon!

Just booked POR Oct 12 - 18!!! 7 day park hopper, QSDP. Had the 20/30/40 pin and used that to save $351 on the room. When/if Free DDP comes out I'll crunch the numbers and see what's best!!

I'm hoping to get plenty of time at F&WF, first time doing this, and use snack credits to graze around the world for a few meals.

Also hoping to attend MNSSHP (did this in '08 and loved it!) and maybe do the haunted hay ride @ FW. Any other "seasonal" events to try?

At this point it's a solo trip, but that would be okay with me. I did my first solo trip Dec 09 and had a great time, so I don't have any of the normal fears of traveling alone since I did it before. I invited my friend who went with me 2 years ago to go on this next trip. She's supposed to let me know soon if it will work out for her.

hi all. dw, ds1, and i got the 20, 30, 40 pin code the other day and upgraded from a family suite at asm to a 1br villa at board walk! made adr's the other day as well. here is our itinerary.

You can do ADR on line now at the disney world web site under "where to eat" (the pulldown menu running along the top of the pic of the castle.

We did not have a problem getting all of our ADR's but I would do them now to be on the safe side
