Yes it is! I have started packing. Football starts this weekend so we will be busy until the cruise. Tommy is slowing down at the high school. We spent yesterday getting the concession stand and field ready.

Okay time for me to delurk. We're on this sailing too--we're on the same group with Rick and Lori. This is our first Disney cruise and we're really excited!

Hello group

Well, we were booked for a Nov 3rd sailing, BUT... we just moved our sailing date up two weeks to October 20th!

This will be our first Disney Cruise on the Fantasy.

Sailing will be DH, Myself, DS age 9, DD age 8.

Interesting in the FE! Our room is GTY right now but will update the FE with our cabin number as soon as we get one assigned.

First of all, please welcome to all of our new cruisers. It is so exciting to see more and more folks join our group. I will add you all to the main cruise page.

And if you all asked to be placed on the FE list, I will do that as well.

On the main page there is is a post regarding the FE and also threads posted there that help to explain the FE and offer great gift ideas.

Off to start the shopping list for FE gifts. (there's almost 40 cabins in our other group ) so we can get to assembling!

This is one thing I truly miss- while we've loved doing RCCL there's no FEs!

That would be kind of difficult to do considering we don't know for sure how many cabins we will ultimately end up with. Since we have about 40 cabins thus far, I figure we will end up with about five to ten more adding before it is all said and done.

I would like each group to have no more than 20 cabins if possible, give or take a few. Tell you what, I will send out prelimenary lists on August 11th. That should give everyone a good start.

It was harder than I thought to give DCL that much $.
I hope I'm not underwhelmed. Unlikely, I know. But some of the recent reports are scary.

I just wanted to mention that since we are planning on mailing our box that we have to ship it by Oct 8 to guarantee arrival a week before we sail. This means that your Sept 5 cutoff gives roughly a month to get everything completed and mailed and this is the reason I am asking to go ahead and assign groups now.

Since I know you have had a really busy summer and are going to be busy with your upcoming September cruise, I am willing to help out with the organization and getting the groups together sooner.

We can start 2 groups one for those of us who wish to go ahead and know who is in our group, have it finalized and get started and those who prefer to wait until the later date to get started.

I think since this is everyone's cruise we need to have some flexibility and this would allow for it.

Everyone, please just do what you like. I have tried to be as flexible and as reasonable as possible.

I will continue to update the lists and whatnot, but please all just do whatever you wish.

What a great idea. That should allow everyone to get involved at their own speed LOL.. Really nice of you to offer to help as well.


Also as Lori mentioned our traveling group is also doing the FE so you will want to really pay attention to your cabin lists or you may get confused seeing all these cabins with FE's but not on any of the lists you have.

I did lots of research for the Dream but I am not allowing myself to read trip reports or anything else related to the Fantasy so I can be surprised.
