Thanks Dan you too!! we had a very quiet one. Mass followed by brunch with my mom and then back to float in the pool. Had dinner with the neighbors but very calm!!! It was a nice day!!

Hey, Everyone.

I am SO sorry for such a long absence.


There have been a lot going on. I have a friend who has breast cancer. Another friend, whose daughter has just started to have seizures and in the mist of all that I have been trying to help my mother out with my neice.

That has actually been the most fun of what's been going on.

Let me get caught up. I have about 15 pages to read through. I know everyone is anxious to get this party started!!! If I am counting correctly, I believe we have about 187 days to go.

My parents, myself (Beth), husband Michael, and 3 kids: DS(will be 9), DD (will celebrate 6th birthday on October 20th!) and DS (will be 4)

In addition to my daughter's birthday, we will be celebrating my mom's birthday (the 24th) and my birthday (the 26th)

We also will be hitting WDW the week before the cruise, staying at Boardwalk

Hi Everyone.....

As of 9 AM PST (from Sunny San Diego, CA) we are officially joining you all and I'm so excited.... Moved us from a 4 nt Dream to 7 night Fantasy.... I got nervous that 4 days wouldn't give me the fix I need.. A little about myself and family....

I'm Cyndi, 38, Mommy to 5 and Grama to 2. Married to Ricky, 34, who indulges my every whim, including my Disney needs. DVC owners at VGC since 2009, Disneyland Annual Pass holders and frequent visitors of the original "House of the Mouse" since infancy....

I'm currently a SHM who is job hunting to raise more money to take more cruises, and I know you all understand

My husband works in the Aerospace industry as an accounts Manager for Goodrich Aerostructure. 4 day work week (MBN) and 3 days to be my BFF

I have a 21 year old daughter who flew the coop and is married with 2 boys (4 and 1), an 18 year old son who works for his Father's Family in Los Angeles.

I am now down to 3 at home...... 16 1/2 year old DD who will NOT be joining us on any more trips due to the fact that it's not worth risking her grades (she has a hard time catching up after a week off), DS who will be 9 at time of sailing, and DS who will be 7 at time of sailing.....

problem is..... we are not sure if the boys are going yet or not.

Hubby and I have NEVER taken a trip solo, so we are deciding whether this will be the one or not...... Have NOT booked the boys yet, but we may add them later on. If we can, great....... if not, then it wasn't meant to be for them.

I just have a hard time leaving them behind, but I'm sure I will get over it once on board with all of you!

This is our 3rd DCL cruise. Did WC on Magic in 2010, MR on Wonder in 2011, and now this! Still need to do the Dream in 2013!

I am in for FE and any other fun we can all come up with.... Can't wait to start chatting with you all..........

Are any of you guys going to participate in any port adventures on this cruise?

I'm not sure about St. Thomas, but Maho beach is 1st on my list for St. Maarten. I've read a bunch of posts about Bernard's tours.

What are your plans?

Jeff, I know this is way late, but the only place that I plan to get off at is St. Thomas to go to Meghan's Bay and Castaway Cay to visit Serenity Bay.

Are we still deciding on a name?

Personally, I need LOTS of time for FE gifts, so any idea when we will get an official list started? Just need a rough idea what I'm looking at....

Can someone please add me to the cruise AND FE list?

( boys MAY not sail but we will know for sure by next month (March)..... I can't believe tomorrow is February!

Mrs. Sunshine Brenda: Could you update us on the first page, we've switched to the 2nd dinner seating.

Mr. & Mrs. Bear3412: Sounds cool. I would not mind at all taking a tour of St. Maarten with you guys. Our girls are pretty close in age, so they may be able to keep each other company. Don't worry about slowing us down, I'll be in full vacation mode for sure.

Cindy(ethanash1): Looks like there are 8-10 families on the FE list at the moment. I haven't re-read every post on here, but I don't recall seeing any mention of whether it will be a daily FE or once per family for the whole trip. This will be our first extended cruise, so I'm not sure what's the "norm". On our last, they left it up to the 'giver'. You were free to give as you please. Some did kids only, some did one per cabin, some did a little every day of the cruise.

And a big welcome to all those who've joined the list recently. I look forward to meeting all of you, if this day will EVER GET HERE!!!

looks like i am going to miss taking a "BD" cruise...as we are moving from this one to the Nov 3rd Eastern so that i return to Orlando on the 10th to run the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon that night.....sure you will all have a "fantastic" cruise!!! Hope to see you on another cruise at some point!!! have fun!!!

Hello, all!! My name is Eva, and if you cruised on the Magic between April-November of 2006 (I know, forever ago!) then you would have seen me on stage as a performer. This is my first time cruising as a guest, and I am thrilled sideways! It will just be myself (32) and my boyfriend Von (28). We are leaving our one year old with Grandma, as this cruise is a graduation present to celebrate my new career as an RN. We're planning on hitting up Loterie Farm for some canopy excitement in St.Maarten, and are still mulling over practically everything else. We had to change our vacation plans and are going to Disney World this summer instead, for the very first time.
We were looking forward to cruising with our Sailing to the Saints folks and that is such a bummer
But there are always futures cruises, right

Hi All!

Late to the party, but here I am! Just switched over from the Nov. 3 sailing to this one due to change in school schedule. I am Erin, DisneyDoc5 and we are celebrating my 40th b-day with this cruise. I will also have my DH, Bret, DS Joshua 13, DS Caleb 10, and DD Josie 8. Also my mom Barb. We have 2 verandah rooms on deck 7. We have main seating. This is my DH's and mine 6th cruise, but first on Disney and first for the children. We are beyond excited! I need to get reading this entire thread and try to get to know you all. I will get caught up and hopefully we can meet some fellow Disers on this cruise! I have had no luck bumping into Disers in the parks, despite my green Mickey heads!

Is the FE list still open?

We are HUGE WDW fans and live and breath Disney so this is the most exciting thing to look forward to! We live in MI and had a big snow last night, so snow day today for the kids. Looking forward to sailing with you all!

Hi Erin welcome to the group. You were sailing with a great group of people (Shell, Jeff, Steve, Diane, etc.) but I promise we are a great group as well.

I am Kelly, this will be my 5th DCL cruise. Just DH and I traveling as my boys decided to grown up, get married and have jobs so they can't come Some of the group is traveling together again after several cruises together, others are first time cruisers, and others are like you and Bret, experienced on other lines. I think this makes a great dynamic.

I know the FE is still open. I think Brenda (Sunshine1259) is heading it up but she hasn't posted in a few weeks. Her ticker shows she is still sailing with us, I think she may just be busy getting ready for her west coast cruise which happens first. You could send her a PM.

We also have a facebook page, if you want to join send me a PM with your FB info and I will send you a friend request so I can add you.

We're joining the group for this cruise. Jumped ship from the 09/22/12 sailing so friends could join us.

We are Joanie and Sam from southcentral Pennsylvania. Traveling with friends from the Tampa area. They talked us into Viva Italia in October of last year. Also will be joined by friends we met on that trip as well as their neighbors.

I'll be keeping an eye on planned activities, ect. for this cruise and ideas for excursions.
