Isn't t fun when you know know it is real and you can start to really plan?

Where at the port are you staying?

Along with a group of our Cruising pals we will be staying at the Comfort In which in just about across the street from Ron Jon's store.
We decided to change from the Raddison where we hav stayed before. T Uhey started charging for parking during the cruise and now they charge for th Shuttle to port. The Comfort Inn is free parking and no charge for the shuttle to port.

Well, I haven't been on this board very often - don't remember the last time. But yesterday we were able to complete all our hotel ressies so now I feel more like it's becoming a real thing. We have one night at OKW, then one night at a hotel near the port. We wanted to stay at Beach Club for 4 nights after the cruise but right now there's no availability so we're booked at Boardwalk with wait list for BCV. I'm actually beginninng to think it would be fun - we've never stayed there before - so we might just forget about wait list and keep the Boardwalk one. The flights and magical Express are booked as well as our park and fly in Portland. All that's left to do is pay for the cruise and booke excursions. Making progress!!

We also are booked at Disney following the cruise. Original plan was for 7 nights at BCV, but just moved the 1st 3 nights to Boardwalk garden/pool view and waitlisted for Boardwalk view.

Right now we are wait listed for BCV for 10/27 to 10/31 but the more I think about it we might just take our names off the list because Boardwalk would be a totally new experience for us. Either way we'll be handy to all the same things. We have a garden/pool view now. I'm wondering why you would rather have a Boardwalk view. Is that supposed to be better?

Well folks we can all forget about what I just posted. While I was typing taht, an E-mail came in from DVC with confirmation for 4 nights at BCV! So now we'll be at BCV after the cruise!

You asked about view...it's really personal preference. Had a pool/garden view when we were there 2 weeks ago, but DH and I enjoy sitting out on the balcony to watch all the activity on the Boardwalk.

We love both resorts, but are not owners at Boardwalk, so we were glad to get in at our 7 month window.

Love Food and Wine so we're excited to be at either resort.

Joan, we always get a studio. For what little we are actually in the room it's all we need for just 2 of us. Makes our points go further! We actually own at VWL and SSR so we also think we're lucky to get in at 7 months. In some past cruises we have had pre-cruise meets at BCV for DIS board folks and now FB group too. maybe we can do the same this time.

He is a young 64, and I am an even younger 63. We will be celebrating our 43rd anniversary....We are wait listed for early dining. Don't hate me for this but since there will only be the two of us, we are hoping to get an all adult dining table...

Hi guys! I have not posted much latley. We are going ot WDW in a couple of weeks. I am ready to get my disney fix. I just watched some videos touring the Fantasy. I am getting so excited!!!!!! We are not going to be able to stay after the cruise because I have to be in DC on Sunday night and the next week for a conference with the department of labor. I am going to fly to DC from Orlando. DH and I are usually in a studio. We try to get the most out of out points, and that has worked for us so far. We own at BCV, VWL and AKL, and love them all for different reasons. Glad we made the choices we did.

Booked at Vero for a bit pre cruise then Radisson at the port the night before we sail.

Welcome and congrats on #43. What is the date? DH and I have #44 on 11/16/12.

Since we travel without children we are always at an adults only table. That is just where they have placed us...always with DVC owners in the past.

Good morning All
Well Nancy and I will be celebrating our 45th next month. We will be able to celebrate Nancys birthday the Monday after the cruise. We wii be staying at the World 4 days after. So tells me she wants to celebrate at the Calf Grillle at the Contemaray.
Our group is staying at the Comfort Inn down the street form the Raddison because they started charging for parking during the cruise and started charging for the shuttle to port which they never use to do.
At the Comfort o. Charge for parking or shuttle to port and the have a free breakfast buffet.
