Oh my goodness it got cold in RVA!!!! October's cruise can't get here soon enough! Sorry I haven't been on the boards in awhile. It's been chaotic at work. I hope everyone is doing well. I saw some posts about DVC and we've been members since 2011. Previously we have been staying with other relatives who have DVC. On our last cruise, we had Tony and Hank representing DVC on the Magic. They were offering to match points if you purchased/added 160 or more points with no fees for 2011. We added another 160 and we are banking them. Hopefully, we will have enough to sail 2013 to the Panama Canal or maybe Hawaii. I don't know why I have fixated on the Panama Canal???

Im going to start researching Port Adventures for our Oct cruise - any suggestions? Bill is already planning on parasailing at Castaway Cay and I'm thinking about another massage while he's in the air....

Im going to start researching Port Adventures for our Oct cruise - any suggestions? Bill is already planning on parasailing at Castaway Cay and I'm thinking about another massage while he's in the air....

I just started researching as well. We are traveling with a larger group of DIS'r and former DIS'r who all met a few years ago because of the podcast board. Many of us have become close friends and travel to WDW or have cruise together before. I am not sure how many folks are attending but we have just under 40 cabins right now. Our travel agent Tracy is working on a few private tours to add to our Disney choices so I am anxious to see what she comes up with. I love to tour new places so the island tours also interest me.

Castaway is easy as we usually take it easy and just do bike rentals and then plopping on the beach for a few hours.

The Villains Tonight Show on the Dream was wonderful. I definitely got my fix. Our last cruise on the magic had a couple of Capt Hook appearances...that was nice. I much prefer the 7 night vs 4 night.....

I ran into Capt Hook on the Dream while walking down a hall with John. He patted John's on the back, bowed a little to him then took my arm and took me for a walk on deck. It was so cool. Total magical moment.

Not sure if anyone needs this info but I just saw where Priceline has Country Inn & Suites at PC for $116-$135 the night before our cruise.

CI&S website has the same rooms starting at $135 and up.

I'm going to a coin show in VA Beach this weekend. Plan on reading some Disney inspired books while Bill is driving. They are calling for snow on Sunday ....I'm hoping that happens so I'll have a chance to sew some FE gifts I have in mind.....Hope everyone has a great weekend!

fun stuff! I went to the grocery. It is gloomy and they are calling for snow late tonight. Meg and Jose are coming over later. I hope she is in a better mood tonight.
