How is she? We were part of the midnight craziness. Patrick and the boys next door wanted to clothes shop so to the outlets we went at midnight. It was fun. But I am sleepy now. In bed by 5 am, DH's alarm went off at 6am- he had to work today!!! Noisy house by 7:30 am...... ugh!!!

We are off to see Arthur's Christmas this afternoon!!! Family tradition of christmas movie after shopping!!!

happy late Turkey day! We ended up spending most of the day at the hospital with DMIL. She is in poor health and seems to spend most holidays in the hospital. We are just going to make a reservation for her at the Hospital for Christmas. Have not been shopping yet. Megan and Alisha were out at midnight. They are crazy.

Glad Thanksgiving went well. Ours did too. Leisha, I saw Tommy's post about his mom. Best wishes that it comes out OK. Shanon and I shopped in Portland today. She was up and out at 2:30 but I didn't join her until later. It was a successful day so it was worth it.

Had a great Thanksgiving with family. We did not go shopping last night. Too pooped. We really did not think we needed to get out there with the crazies. LOL Also, I had to be receptionist at weight watchers at 700 am. So when I got home after weight watchers, had leftovers, then went out shopping with Erika my daughter. She got a couple good fines but lines were still very long at Kohls. Wrapped around the store twice. So needless to say we did not buy anything there. Had fun. Now Erika went to Austin to see friend, Kristen and kids are eating with best friends family and I am just relaxing at the computer.

You are a brave women!! Megan and Alisha went out but I stayed home in bed after setting in the Hospitalmost of the day. DMIL has some kind of staph infection that they are having a hard time identifying. She seems to be felling better but we have to wear masks and gloves when we visit which is freaky.

How was the movie? I wanted to take Aidan to see the muppet movie but those darn parents wanted to take her so they had to come along. She did well but fell asleep midway through the movie. When animal was on the screen she would yell hey! It was so funny.

She had a stroke a couple years ago and hasn't been able to speak where we can understand her. Now, with this fall, she is having to have a pacemaker put in. So, hoping both come through all right.

Movie was good! I took the two little boys with us too!! Never again. I spent a fortune and then the younger one threw a fit because I wouldn;t let him play a video game!!!!

Ds # 2 came home Sunday night. Then we had to work until Wednesday So we had him Thursday and Friday and the girlfriend showed up here Saturday morning at 10 am!!! So he left Saturday evening with her and went back to Tallahassee!!! He didn't fly back to Germany until today!!!! ugh!

But at least I know we will be seeing him in three weeks!!

That is a great Christmas present! I went a few years ago. I love the the differences from WDW and to think Walt Disney walked the same places!! Have some Beneits for me!!! and of course a mickey bar!!

Hi All,
been MIA - after my surgery Nov 9th, spent a little time recuperating & then spent Thanksgiving up at Lake Tahoe. Read some books, watched some movies, walked a bit each day and just enjoyed being with DH & DS. DD & her family were able to start moving into their new home (3 yrs in the making but WELL WORTH it - it's GORGEOUS) so anyway they were not able to join us

Did NOT venture out at midnight nor BF, but did at least 90% of my shopping online from friday thru yesterday & almost everything i ordered will arrive by / on Friday!!! i LOVE the internet!!!!!!!!!

Going to Disneyland wkend of 12/16 (after DS gets home from school) and it's only a month & 4 days till my next cruise - SOOOO excited - DS gets to go again with me on this one as it's during his holiday break as well as my Dsis, her DH & their youngest!!! Leaving DH at home since he refuses to cruise. They are flying into San Jose early 12/31 to spend a few nights here & then we'll fly to LAX the a.m. of the cruise.

We will also be going to Disneyland. We leave on December 20th and return on the 23rd. My birthday is the 21st, so that is what we are celebrating. As long as I have lived here and as many times as I have been to Disneyland, I have never been during the Christmas holidays. I am SO looking forward to this trip.

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel on Disney Vacation Points. Was hoping for the Grand Californian, but as we are new vacation club owners, it was virtually impossible to reserve anything there during this time of year. But we will be ready next year.

Brenda, I hope that you are feeling better. It sure sounds like it. I like the photo.
