That's great. I can't wait to try it.

Well, I think that it is about time to start a thread for this sailing. Who is going? I sure would love to see some of the folks who sailed with us on the Oct 23, 2010, Magic cruise. Such a great group of folks!!!!

Anyway, we have a nice size that is going right now. I will list the names on the next post and also start an FE list on the following post.

So, let's get this party started.

Hello everyone!

We did the opposite of most and decided to switch from the Oct. 2012 Hawaiian cruise to this cruise. We did our very first cruise on the Dream in August 2011. We loved the Dream and after reading about plumbing, toilet and shower problems on the Wonder, it made us change our mind and decided to take a cruise on the Fantasy instead. I didn't want to take the chance of having this type of issues on a 14 day cruise, although I know DCL does their best to make sure this issues are taking care of right away.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary and his birthday during this cruise. We are looking forward to the cruise!

We will not be participating in the FE, but I love to see all the creative FE's on the ship. We were on deck 7 on the dream and I didn't see many FE's in August. I hope to see more this time around.

Hey there!

Welcome to the board.

My partner and I are taking our first Disney Cruise this time around. We are still getting used to the lingo and stuff. What exactly is an FE?

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for being MIA this past week or so. Work has been insanely CRAZY!!!

My partner and I were wondering what people generally do before the cruise. Do you all fly in the day before or do you arrive the morning of? Are there any hotels or places you could recommend if we want to come in the night before?

Also, is anyone on Facebook or anything?

We hope all is well with everyone!

-Artie and Howie

Hi, Stephanie, and WELCOME ABOARD! Glad that you decided to join us.

I have been on the Wonder 6 times and I LOVE her!!! We never have had any of those issues with and remember, the Wonder has just come out of dry dock. So, if there were those issues, they were probably addressed at this time. Not that I am trying to talk you out of joining us, it's just I really love the Wonder.

Anyway, you all are following a similar pattern as my husband and I. We too had a Disneymoon at WDW and followed that with a three day cruise. We then had our third annivesary at Disneyland staying at the Disneyland Hotel.

We have a great group going and a lot of folks who have cruised together before. So, we will make sure that you have a great time.

I already have FEs done, so I don't have to worry about making one, though, I have been thinking about making a new one for my husband and me.

So, again, welcome aboard, and I will add you all to our main board.

Hi, Artie. An FE or Fish Extender is a gift holder that is hung outside of your door on the "Fish" note click that Disney uses for leaving you notes or messages.

The FE is used for leaving gifts for your follow cruisers. It is organized so that those who participate know who to give gifts to and where they are. As the cruise draws closer we will gather names of those who wish to participate and then let everyone know who the others are. I will see if I can find a good thread with posted FEs so that you can see what they are.

And to answer your question about Facebook, yes, I am on there but go very rarely.

We were on the wonder the last week of August. We did not have any issues. We had a blast.

But welcome aboard!!!

We always go down the day before. We drive so I can't comment on flying, but I would be so worried about delays and missing the boat!! We have stayed both at the port - Radisson and Residence Inn and on WDW the night before. Staying at the port is my favorite, but I may need a disney fix by then and want to stay on. So we haven't decided yet!

Welcome!!!! Ask away some of us have been on a few cruises already so we may be able to help!!
