Great news on Dylan! At least he will see some things. He will grow up to be amazing I'll bet. Keep praying about your MIL

I guess it will be some time before we go back with Miss Kaleigh around.

Just drop her off in NJ for the weekend or whatever and then drive to the Pocono's! I would love to have her!

signatures are gone...anyone else notice that?

OK Sue Only for you....
Go Panthers!

Wind chill of zero this morning in New Jersey!:scared1:

It's a good thing I have Dodger to keep me company this weekend since Bobby went home to Virginia but I sure don't feel like walking him in this weather.

SUE: Since no EAGLES in the Superbowl I will have to now say "GO PANTHERS" in honor of you!

Good Bless Dylan:angel:.

DENINE: I am so jealous! Back to WDW! Tell Mickey ::MickeyMo I said Hi & miss him.

Stay warm. We need a group hug :grouphug: to stay warm. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

OK, no secrets!! We are all family now. Jeanne, spill the beans!!

Bonnie and Jeanne - thanks for the Panther support!! Win or lose, I am so glad they made it to the show.

After Turner's field trip yesterday, the school had a pep rally for the Panthers. It was so cute to see Kindergartners thru 5th grade all pumped up. The kindergartners made little pompoms, the 1st graders made little pennants, the upper levels did the cheers and also made banners. They had a little passing competition through hula hoops. It was some energizing!! After the Panthers win Sunday, the teachers are going to have no control on Monday morning!!

Good morning to everyone!!
Love ya, mean it!

It is all of 2 degrees here. I don't know what the windchill is.

Bonnie: I'll tell Jerry you are going to babysit Kaleigh for a weekend while we enjoy Cove Haven!

Kaleigh is feeling better. She was dancing to music this morning. She still has a nasty cough and sounds congested, but at least there is no more screaming. Jerry is starting to turn the corner, but I am afraid I am getting bronchitis.

Jeanne: I guess it is our jobs to keep you company this weekend. I know it is not the same as being with Bobby :love2:
I will say hi to ::MickeyMo & ::MinnieMo for you!

That's it for now.

I have know a secret. I know a secret!!!! :hyper:

Wow, you sure can tell who Heidi is related to. Do you want some cheese with that whine? Shouldn't you have been concentrating on your class instead of lurking?

Patty, that is good news for Dylan. We all understand what you meant by that. I am so happy for Dylan. I am sorry though about your MIL.

Susan, don't you love Super Bowl time? When the Broncos go the city is so different. It is so much fun. You bet I will root your team on! Good luck.

Bonnie, looks like you survived your first week back to work. Lay around today and be a bum!

Denine, how wonderful that Kaleigh is doing better. Hope mom and dad are too. Four days and counting for you. I am jealous.

Jeanne, I so enjoyed talking to you yesterday. I am more than willing to make it a weekly thing. Maybe Joyce and Ted would like the weekly chat, too ;) Oh by the way, skip my email. I see you worked it out.

I agree with Jeanne. Grouphug.:grouphug: It has been too long. Miss all of you!

Hi All! I'm back! Had a few problems with my computer, but Garry worked them out. The kids have been sick this past week. It started last Thursday with Makenzie getting a nasty "cold". Her eyes kept watering and she had a horrible cough. She started to get better and then the Big Guy came down with the same thing on Monday. I believe that it was a virus, but not too sure. Then of all things, Brooke came down with it! She sounds like a pug dog when she breathes. Between nose drops and suctioning her nose out, she has NOT been a happy camper lately. She is getting better, thank heavens! The only good thing about this past week is that Garry HAS NOT gotten sick working out in this cold weather! Knock on wood! I give him credit doing his job in this weather and dealing with drunks! Everyone is getting back on the mends and should be back to their old selves again soon!

My mom's surgery went well. She is coming home today (sun). They will continue threopy at her house, but she is coming along. She was walking the halls the day after her sugery. She has pain, but she is a trooper and said she will work through it to get back to normal. Thanks for all the pixie dust for her.

GO PANTERS!!!! Just for you Susan! I would like to see them win for you!

Garry works then next 4 days and gets one day off and then works 3 more! Gotta love the place he works for! They are a bunch of idiots! They don't know how to make a schedule up , that is for sure! These 10 hour shifts stink when you get a schedule like that!

Good news about Dylan! Glad to here you got such great news!

Hey Bonnie.... does your offer about watching the kids so mommy and daddy can go have "champagne wishes" go for ALL mommies and daddies? IF so, we'll set a date that is good for you! LOL!

Well, gonna go. Will check back in before the big game!

psst... I'ver got a secret!!! :hyper: (sorry had to, won't do it again!)

Sinus headache and can't sleep...so I login to say hi!

I'm not saying it again - NO secrets!! Someone needs to spill the beans to everyone!

Everyone needs to get well. Too many bugs among us!

SUPER BOWL XXXVIII here we come!!! This is going to be so much fun win or lose!! The city here has gone wild with Super Bowl fever! Let's go PANTHERS!!

Here's to a group hug

Hey Bonnie.... does your offer about watching the kids so mommy and daddy can go have "champagne wishes" go for ALL mommies and daddies?
Sure! But with one hitch...only one at a time so you need to find someone for the other 2! I would need a vacation after having 3 all at once...remember I only had 1 and I am getting too old for change!

May be getting my hair cut today...a fund raiser with a hairdresser I never went to...then a Superbowl party. They have a pool at the party...I just don't know what to do...go for who I think will win or go for the team so I stay loyal! LOL!

A little chilly here...13 degrees!! I hope that groundhog doesn't see his shadow. One of these days I may go up there to see him. Of course that is on my list with going into NYC for the lighting of the Rockafeller (sp) Center Christmas tree and Times Square on New Year's Eve...I plan on doing all 3 before I get too old.

Rambling...

Sandy!!! Do tell!!! Hmmm...Bobby is going on the cruise? Jeanne is engaged?...it has to have something to do with Jeanne and Bobby.

Hi guys, the storm last night wasn't bad so perhaps you guys won't have it so bad either.

GO PANTHERS! That's for Susan.

Dont' forget that Survivor starts after the Super Bowl. Ohhhh, I can't wait. I think this will be a very good one. I read in the newspaper that they are predicting that there will not be another Survivor because Mark Burnett will not be able to top this one. Anyone watching "My big fat obnoxious fiance"? I had to just check into it once to see. It is so hilarious. Man, I am a reality show junkie. I am also watching Celebrity Mole. And of course, The Apprentice.

Bonnie, I will be surprised if you get your haircut other than by your stylist! Let us know.

Sorry but I am sworn to secrecy. Can't divulge a secret. Remember I love Jiminy and his philosophy is "always let your conscience be your guide". You guys should see my curio cabinet. One shelf is devoted to Jiminy. He's soooo cute!

Julie, so glad that your mother is doing great. I am not so sure I could be doing that good. Sorry about the kids. Especially 3 at once.

I love secrets. I feel like I'm back in the LOOP!:Pinkbounc

Busy morning. Church, got gas, car washed, park with dog & returned dog to owner after getting food for the dog & the humans.

GO PANTHERS!!!!!!! In honor of Sue.

Back to work tomorrow after 10 days off. I hope I remember how to work!:scared1: Bobby is still in Virginia but may drive back to New Jersey either during the Superbowl or tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great week. Stay warm:sunny: . Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE alias "Bobby's Girl"

Happy Super Bowl Day everyone! I'm packing to head up to the Springs. Ken's mom has a couple of hours to a couple of days according to the doctors so I need to be with him. The weather isn't cooperating very much with having to drive over Raton Pass and a Trans Am isn't exactly a snow car so I may have a fun trip. My two daughters are probably going to come with me though so we'll probably be in Julie's minivan. Mom and Barb, if you read this, I'll call you when I can. Barb, I have to bring Shelby so do you think you could possibly babysit her when we have to be gone from the house for very long?

Good luck to the Panthers!

Patty: We will keep Ken's mom in our prayers. Drive safely.

Julie: I hope everyone is on the mend in your house. Godd to hear your mom's surgery went well. I know about the work schedule thing. The last place I worked, I wanted 8 hour shifts. The 12 hour people got the worst schedules. How hard can it be to make a decent schedule?

Kaleigh is a crab today, I have bronchitis and am worn out. Will we make it to Thursday?

Everyone enjoy your superbowl parties. It sounds like Jerry has it on in the living room.

Jerry will be working from home tomorrow, so limited computer time for me.

Sorry Susan! :( Good game. You guys tried hard!! Our family was rooting for you!

Patty, I am so sorry for you and your family. Be careful driving. Raton Pass can be a bad one.

Proud of the Panthers for giving it a good try. Around here we call them the Cardiac Cats because of the way they can keep coming back all the way to the very end. We really enjoyed the game even with the ending. Glad to see so many of my DIS family pulling for them.

Patty, Ken's mother is in our prayers. Please keep us posted.

Denine - get better and go soak up some sun! You need it.

I need to go check the weather forecast and see if it has changed. They were calling for freezing rain again today and tonight. Yuck!

Have a great day everyone.

Patty sorry about your MIL. Drive safely. I had a Camaro so I know how those cars don't do well in snow.

Sorry Susan...Excellent nailbiter game though! Soooo close!

Good Superbowl party. I hadn't seen these people in years!!! THe redone kitchen looks great...they redid years ago but last time I was there Lisa was talking of colors so it was good to see it. Speedy the dog is still alive...although barely...hobbles around just as sweet as ever...speedy was named that because even when she was young you could barely get her to move! It was great to see Lisa, Scott and all her sisters. Needless to say I didn't win any of the pool...it was based on who won but scores at the end of each quarter...cool game.

Off to work...it is supposed to get to a balmy 37 degrees here! Yahoo!!!

Good morning everyone. Back at work again!!!

Susan you should be proud.....your Panthers played a great game. The scores were so close throughout the whole game. I was voting for the Panther's, but there is always next year.....but for next year I will be cheering on the Broncos!!!!! After reading some of the threads on the community board, I don't know what was more interesting...the game or the half time show.

Actually managed to get some packing done today. Trying to limit the stuff we take so that we only need 2 suitcases and 1 carry-on plus a diaper bag.

I haven't had a case of bronchitis this bad in a long time. Everything hurts from coughing. At least Jerry and Kaleigh seem to be improving. I am so glad we are flying!

It is actually 32 outside. We haven't been up to freezing in a long time. It probably feels balmy outside.

Just a quick check on the thread. Was wondering how Denine was feeling. Bronchitis takes awhile to get over but don't let it get you down over vacation. Have you checked in with a doctor?

I am off in a half hour to try some trial contacts. Wish me luck. If they work out then I am going to try and get mono vision contacts to see if I like them. Mono vision is new. Each eye has a different contact and you don't need reading glasses. He said a lot of people fail but a lot of people don't. I am willing to give it a try but they cost more so I figure try regular contacts to see if I like them first. I just hate glasses and always wanted to try contacts. Shoot. There is no charge until they know I can do it. What is there to lose?

I was thinking about Patty today. Hope the drive went well. I heard our storm hit down there worse than here so hope all is well.

get mono vision contacts to see if I like them

Jeanne has had mono vision for years! I have them also...if you have an astygmatism though make sure they give you the weighted ones or you won't see well enough. I prefer regular contacts and reading glasses...when I get tired I don't see well up close with the monovision.

Denine hope you feel better...have flown with bronchitis and hate it...as a matter of fact my one and only time in 1st class I had awful bronchitis! Jeanne will tell you!
Make sure you give Kaleigh her decongestant prior to flying or she will scream! Sippy cup also as you are ascending and descending...to make her swallow and pop ears.
