A cold day AGAIN. We are having snow flurries Wed-Friday and more than likely Saturday too. Not much accumulation though. Wouldn't you know that it snows when we are taking care of two different neighbors houses. More shoveling to do. Not expected though. That's nice.

Heidi, where in WDW are you in your virtual tour/trip?

Better get ready to take Noah to school. Lori, that made me think about his school for next year. They are checking into Katie and Cody's school. They are going to the lottery tonight.

Hi guys. Been working this week but got out of it today. That's good because I've been helping out at another hospital (Porter) and it took 55 min to get there yesterday morning on the ice and this morning was yukkier. Kids had a half hour delay for school, so that would have made me late anyway.

My sympathies to Patty and her family.

Sandy, I hope your friends get into Littleton Academy. It's been a good elementary. I'm still on the fence about the middle school, Katie is entering 6th next year and both of the current 6th grade teachers have given notice, so I don't know who her teacher will be. I wasn't too crazy about the ones who are leaving anyway, so maybe we'll get better replacements.

Too bad for the Panthers. That was an awesome game. It really could have gone either way, just came down to the time. I guess the coin toss actually came into play. They both played great.

Hope Denine is having a good time!

OK, what's BOB and ... here's my soapbox comment on secrets. If you cant tell them, than don't announce having them! Grrr!

A friend of Bob's is giving a Valentine's Party & we all have to dress up as "couples". We bounced around alot of ideas & finally decided on Sandy & Danny from Grease & ordered the costumes. Bob has a single guy friend who is going too so he got a T-Birds Jacket too. It is going to be sooooo fun!

SUE: We really don't have secrets. The secret is very iffy so that is way we don't want to say anything but when it becomes a REALITY you will all know.

About BOB...I CANNOT see Jeanne doing something like that!!! She totally freaked at Typhoon Lagoon with the snorkel pool! That is all I have to say about that! Although I may have to go on the cruise just to see Jeanne go through with this one! LOL!

Auto Show was good...saw a lot of cars...got a Honda salesman's card. Cool cars though.

HI everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week! We are suppose to get a real bad ice storm tonight, but I think that it is going to miss us! THe Big Guy had a real nice birthday! He got his favorite dinner (mc d's nuggets and fries and pop) and I made him a chocolate cake! Boy did he enjoy everything! He got a Dora tape from Makenzie and Brooke and a fisher price Bobby Q talking grill from daddy and mommy.

Update on Anna Marie, she will be here this weekend but she has told us that she talked to her mother and WHAT a SURPRISE...... she said NO! That is what we thought she would say. So I guess the next step is the courts I guess. We shall see.....

BONNIE: I looked at the "Bob" website & think I could do it because you can see all around & your face isn't really covered. Can you believe Bobby does scuba diving? I already warned him about my claustrophobia & told him don't expect me to ever scuba dive or snorkel.

Woke up at the usual 5:30 AM & could not fall back to sleep.

Today is movie with the girls & we are meeting at 10:30 AM for breakfast & then going to see "Cold Mountain". Each month we are alternating between comedy & drama. Last month it was "Calendar Girls". Hoping to see Joyce today.

Hopefully my mom doesn't read this before I can tell her, but in the next month I have to go to Washington D.C. for a week for work. Any suggestions on what to do while I am out there? Anybody near there that can be my personal tour guide? I have never been to the east coast...just Florida!!! I am up for any suggestions. HELP!!!!!

OH MY GOSH !!!!!! I need a paramedic. I just had a heart attack. Heidi didn't get ahold of me first. My oh my oh my oh my . Washington DC? Oh my gosh. Ohhhh, I can't do this. I can't be brave. I just can't. I pray that you are going WITH someone.

Bonnie, do book our trip and we ALL can do BOB. How fun would that be to get up a big group of us?

I feel for Anna Marie. It will be a difficult time for her. Glad that the Big Guy had a good birthday. His birthday dinner reminds me of driving up to our new Walmart with Graci. She spots the "M" for McDonalds on the outside of the building and she starts chanting McDonald's, McDonalds. Wow, they learn early don't they?

Jeanne, enjoy the girls night out. Sounds like fun. Let me know if you like Cold Mountain. I have heard both ways. I know that you can do Bob! You would have that big huge helmet on. While snorkeling all I can think about is breathing. This way would be so much easier.

Plenty to do in DC!!! What days will you be there...any chance of being there over a weekend? Tons to do but you would have to do it on the weekend...the Smithsonian!!! Air & Space!! Treasury!! Lincoln Memorial!!! Capital building!!! White House (don't know if they started public tours back up).

Where are you staying? In DC or possibly in VA? The Metro is simple to take! We in South Jersey are about 3 hours away...a little far for just a day trip but a good overnighter.

Heidi, you will haev a great time in DC. We love to visit there. In fact, about 3 years ago we stopped there for a couple of nights on our way to Long Island, and we rode bikes all over - to the Lincoln Memorial, to Arlington Cemetary, back to the mall and over to the Capitol. Turner was only 7 and we couldn't keep up with him! Much better place when the weather is warmer, but enjoy it anyway! I wish I was closer and I'd come visit but we are about 6-7 hours away.

All of us east coasters should have a mini meet in DC when Heidi will be there! Garry and I keep talking about going back for visist to D.C. so here is our chance! Sounds like it could be fun! Any takers?

Took Brooke yesterday to the docoter's since her left eye keeps crusting shut at night. I thought it was a blocked tear duct but just wanted to be sure. It is. She was weighed and she is 9 lbs and 3 oz. Not bad for being a month old (give or take a few days). She LOVES to sleep on her stomach! (I know all you nurses and mom's out there say that's a no no, but she will sleep no other way.) I do turn her over onto her back when she is finally in a deep sleep especially at night. She is so strong! She lifts her head and tracks people's movements. SHe tried rolling over to her stomach on Tuesday she got her legs over and the rest of herself onto her side but coundn't finish the turnover and on Wed she tried to get up on all fours! She got her back legs up and her butt up and head was off the floor and her arms were in the right position, but she just couldn't get her upper body off the ground. She tried several times before she gave up. I must say, I think that I will have my hands full with this one!

Going over to King of Prussia mall tonight to see Peter Max! I am so excited...I love his art work. He will be at some gallery that is over there. I wish I could find my Peter Max scarf from H.S. ...I would attempt to get him to sign it. I think it may be in the attic somewhere. I am sure he is an old man now. And will have an early dinner at Cheesecake Factory...Thai Chicken Pasta here I come!

Nothing else new around here. Work was horrible yesterday. filled with threatened Executive Inquiries, getting legal involved, being yelled at by some idiot from a VA hospital, incompetent staff then the nut person on my staff went off on me at the end of the day...I went home exhausted!

Sounds like a plan to me. Road trip to DC!!!!! I'll let you guys know when for sure but it will probably be the first week of March. I would LOVE to meet all of you in PERSON! Mom is so jealous now. I think she has already looked up airfare to DC since your posts.

SANDY: Decided I didn't feel like getting depressed so Joyce, Jane, Vicky & I went to see "Along Came Polly" and it is just what I needed. A good laugh! The other three went to see "Cold Mountain" but we haven't had our post movie discussion yet. Next month we are going to the movie first & then out to lunch after the movie.

Very busy at work today but a nice, steady busy so it turned out to be a good day. All I feel like doing is taking a bath & drinking a wine cooler. Hope you all have a fun filled weekend. Toodles, JEANNE

Well...

Had my Thai Chicken Pasta!!! MMMM....good...and I have enough left over for dinner tomorrow!
Saw Peter Max...not as old as I thought he would be. I like his earlier work better...you know like the Yellow Submarine stuff. THey had some there but mostly his latest...the least expensive was about 1700...yeah, right! Seemed like a nice guy though...short of course. People were buying!

Then Nordstrom's had a sale...bad news putting me in that store when there is a sale going on! Then Talbot's had the final markdown on their sale items..so of course...need I say more...maybe I could have bought a painting! LOL! NOT!

Bonnie, I AM here. Don't talk to yourself. Makes me feel bad. I was just laying around in bed today. Just couldn't get up. I had a bad night a couple of nights ago so I guess I was making up for it.

Jeanne, Along Came Polly is soooo good. I do love it. It got bad reviews but we all liked it. Glad that it gave you a pick me up. Sorry that you are down. I look forward to your call. Remember, I am two hours BEHIND you.

I am kind of in the dumps today, too. I need a pick me up. Guess we will go have lunch today. AND....maybe dinner too.

Had a nice weekend. Not too rushed but still productive.

I need to go see a movie just to see all of the trailers, to have a clue what movies you are all talking about. I haven't even been watching TV to know from commercials. Oh well, too much stuff going on to catch it ALL.
