Sandy: What kind of tree? I would love a 9" tree. but our ceilings are 9" and you can't put up a tree topper. I never see any 8" trees. Jerry doesn't like the pre-lit trees. He likes to do the lights himself. I guess we will keep this tree for a while. It still looks pretty.

I had a ton of typos in my last post too!

I put up more decorations yesterday. I have more to do today. Jerry was in bed with a headache yesterday.

Today I really need to work on pulling stuff out to pack. I have a love/hate realtionship with going to WDW in December.

Sandy: We saw a playhouse a BJ's last night at they wante $280

It is cold and frosty this morning. It is supposed to get up to 47. Maybe Kaleigh can go out an play.

I think my toe my be improving. It is still sore, but it looks better. Maybe it was the infection that was causing all the problems. I hope so. I really don't want more surgery. I go back on Tuesday. I will see what he says.

I think that is it for now.

Hello my friend Denine. Guess it is just you and me this weekend. Ted and I got a smaller tree. It is 7'. We have an older house so we have 8' ceilings. It is pre lit because Ted hates putting up the lights. He is definitely opposite of Jerry! I suppose you have the love/hate thing with going to WDW in Dec because of the Christmas headaches along with packing. I can see why you say that! Our weather is nothing to brag about either. Pretty cold. Good luck on that toe of yours! I go to the Doc this Tues. Have lots to talk to him about including lack of sleep and weight. I wonder if my weight problems are related to the border thyroid problem. At least I could blame it on something. In a way I hope so and another I hope not. I don't really want to start taking pills! Then I wonder if my cholesteral (sp) is up and don't want to start on pills for that, too. I have been right there around 190 or 200.

Better get off and help Ted.

Good morning. Had a great weekend and Thanksgiving. My mom and I made it through our traditional black friday shopping experience. We made it to 8 stores (including the mall) and breakfast before 10:00am!!!

This weekend we had the girls and we put up our Christmas decorations.

After having 4 1/2 days off from work, it is hard to get motivated again to work 5 days this week!!!!

I got to see Barb's quilt, it is beautiful. Definitely a lot of time was spent on that.

Good Morning
Had a great Thanksgiving. The mountains were so beautiful with the covering of snow. Went to the Nutcracker on Saturday night. We went out to dinner first at a nice restaurant. I ordered the house specialty and they cook it at your table.

We are going to Cirque Du Soleil on Thursday. Looking forward to it. We are taking Ethan. I think he will like it.

Ethan now refuses to sleep in his crib so we took it down last night and set up his "Lighting McQueen" bed. He was not impressed. He is still sleeping in Missy's bed.

I know what you mean Heidi about not motivated to work. I had 5 days off and was not ready to come back.

I finished decorating last night. Wish I was done with my shopping. Lucky you Denine! My family keeps getting bigger and bigger so it taking longer.

I got Jason a X-box 360 and a Bumblebee transformer that talks. Maybe next year he will get grown up presents.

It sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

Barb: I would love to see the Nutcracker again. Jerry and I were still dating the last time we saw it. Cleveland puts on a really nice version. Missy may have to get "tough" with Ethan if she wants him out of her bed. If she doesn't mind, then I guess she can keep trying the "big boy" bed and see what happens.

Sandy: Jerry is a perfectionist when it comes to lights on a Christmas tree! I wish I could blame my weight on something! I have started back on the treadmill, albeit at a much slower pace than normal until my toe no longer hurts.

Only a few more days of school until vacation! We made cinnamon/applesauce ornaments today. NOw they have to dry for several days. They smell good though.

We put up all the decorations we could yesterday, even the outdoor decorations. We have a little more to do outside when we get back and then the tree and that is it. Of course, I still have to wrap all those presents!

I got a good start packing yesterday. I still need to pull out my clothes and a few more things and they they can get put in suitcases.

Jerry just made ressies for Whispering Canyon for my birthday.

We are going to see Enchanted tonight.

The neighbors across the street are moving today. The big moving truck is out front. Now there will be 2 empty houses across the street. I feel bad for them. When we were talking to Rory on Saturday, he said they haven't gotten a single offer, not even a low ball offer. Their house is now priced less than they paid for it. The housing market really sucks around here right now.

Barb - I wasn't overly impressed with Whispering Canyon. They didn't really do anything for us and maybe it was because we were so exhausted and the girls were really grumpy during that dinner!

Barb, yes I did hang it. It is by my buffet. Looks beautiful! Thanks for trying to post a picture because I am not quite that talented. Joey and Tyler are still in their cribs. Stacey is holding off until they start climbing out. I love Whispering Canyon. We had so much fun with the Dudettes, Denine and family, Julie and family and Susan and family. But when we went with Heidi, our waitress was a real DUD!! Heidi, I don't think the girls were crabby at all! I mean that!

Denine, I made cinnamon applesauce ornaments last year with Noah and Graci. They had so much fun and it wasn't messy at all. I have heard nothing but good things about Enchanted. I can't wait to hear what you think of it. The housing market is bad here too. That is why we aren't in a big hurry to sell our friends house.

Good Morning!

The sun is rising and it is going to be a little warmer today. Tomorrow it will be cold and snowy. It can snow all it wants as long as the roads don't get bad!

Heidi-Why is eveyone on edge? Did I tell you Progressive layed about 700 people off enterprise wide a couple of weeks ago. Thank goodness it did not affect people on my level mostly upper management and IT people. We are doing a reorg and combining with Progressive Direct again so I guess they did not need the extra management. Glad the layoffs are over!

Tonight is Ethan's "Little Gym" class. Tomorrow night is Kid Nation and Thursday is Cirque Du Soleil then FRIDAY!! YAY!!

I'm so glad to hear there are other people out there that love Kid Nation! Can you believe I have not found anyone else around here that watches it. Bob and I start looking forward to it at the beginning of the week. I don't think there will be another one because of the law suites. BLAH!

Taylor is really cute but like you said Sandy BRAT! Sophia cracks me up with the stuff she comes up with. Putting money at the bottom of that pot full of gross stuff to see who would dig for it
