October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Ok smarty britches, I was on. I have to admit. I called Ted this morning and while I was talking I read the board. Shhhh, don't tell him. Now I can post. I tried posting one time talking to him and he could hear the click of the keyboard.

Nothing new here except HIGH wind. I mean HIGH wind. Driving home from the Doctor's there were tree limbs everywhere. I decided not to go anywhere. I am highly protective of our cars and don't want any shopping cart dings on the car. Oh well, there is always next week, right?

I want to learn Spanish. I was thinking about a CD or something that we could listen to while driving down to the campground or something. I took 2 or 3 years in high school but can only remember a few things. I just thought with the Club and travelling a lot that it would be nice to be able to communicate with them. They try so why shouldn't I? It is different up here though.

Barb, you must be having fun with all the kids. Did you go to work today?

Thought I would stop in a minute. Didn't go in today. You caught me Sandy. Jason and Michelle's flight was delayed. We did not get home last night until midnight. Decided since my time with Jaymee is so limited I would take today off. I have some really busy days the next 3 days getting ready for the graduation. May go and see Pirates again tonight since Jaymee has not seen it.

Hi guys! Having a super time here at the world! Sorry I didn't get to post before we left, with the trip to the zoo and then getting Anna Marie and then the end of the year party, it was crazy up until we left!

Our room is very nice. We have a nice view of the Boardwalk entrance and most of the fireworks from EPCOT. We have a HUGE balcony! The Swan was nice, but doesn't feel like a Disney resort. Didn't realize that Brooke SNORES soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and LOUD!!!! LOL!!! At least we have a one bedroom at the boardwalk!

Got a text message on my phone this morning telling me that our Owner's locker was delivered to Boardwalk already. We went and checked in (the room wasn't ready OF COURSE!) so we went over to EPCOT. Rode the New Mexico ride (ok, but liked the older one better) and Norway. Had lunch at San Angelo in Mexico. Makenzie left her lanyard with her pass at the restuarant but didn't tell us until Figment. SO I went back to Mexico to see if they had it and they had her pass but someone took the lanyard!!!! SO I spoke to guest services and they gave her a new one! Not bad for one day here and we got something free!! LOL!!!! They were very apologetic (sp) and said they HAD to give her a new one. Did Spaceship Earth, Figment and then our room was ready so we went to the room.

Garry and I went and got the car, dropped off the luggage (left Anna Marie in the room with the kids to get the luggage and the owner's locker which is surprisingly big, and then they could go down to community hall to do crafts or play and Garry and I went to the grocery store. THEN the rains hit! We had a pretty good thuderstorm and it rained pretty much the rest of the evening. Garry and Anna Marie went down to the fitness center and I stayed with the kids and put EVERYTHING away (clothes, food, suitcases etc...). We decided to call it a night and not go back out (it was around 7ish when they went down and the food got here). SO, the kids had pizza for dinner and Garry and I had take out from Big River Grille. It was a very nice evening. We are going to get out real early tomorrow to get a fresh start.

So that's it for right now. Having a super time . The weather has been nice and the rain was a great chance to get the essentials done.

Barb, great to see your family is home with you for awhile! Have a great time with them.

Sandy, Ohio weather was strange when we left too. Hope all is well with all that high wind.

Heidi, how's Salt Lake? Thinking about you!

Denine, did you have to put a blanket on your bed last night? LOL!!!

Well, it's official! I have a third grader and first grader next school year. Both did very well on their report cards. And Anna Marie is a SENIOR!

Barb, I think you made a wise decision to take yesterday off. I am sure that you want to spend as much time as you can with Jaymee. What's new her way?

Julie, loved, LOVED reading your post. Sounds like everything is going good with the exception of rain and poor Makenzie losing her lanyard. But even that worked out ok. When are you due back?

The wind was hurricane strength. Have high wind warnings until noon but at this point I think it is over. It is totally calm. I feel blessed because Heidi comes in today and the planes were cancelled yesterday due to the high winds. I would be so worried if it was still windy. I guess Salt Lake City had the storm before us. Heidi said they got rain however. We won't.

Getting both Graci and Noah today. I am down to only 3 days left with them. I have some relief and also dreading it at the same time. I already cried when they gave me my Mothers day card. The money was just for eating out and stuff like that so some of my "frills" will have to end.

Good Morning!

Sandy-Can you believe that wind!! I had not been reading the weather reports and had no idea it was coming. It was pretty cold too. It is still windy here today. Hope it goes away soon.

Graduation rehearsal today. I had so much to do starting today. I won't get to spend anymore time with Jaymee We had fun yesterday. She hasn't changed much. Still stole my blanket at the movies last night.

I will ask Jason which resort they stayed in Sandy. I know they said it was about 45 minutes from Cancun. They loved it. Michelle was red from sunburn when we picked them up. She normally has the whitess skin too.

Better go get ready got to be at the church in about 2 hours.

Julie-Glad everything is going well. Glad you posted. Helps us with our separation anxiety!

Stacey-After this week I will be free to plan lunch together. Hope things are getting easier for you at the campground.

Morning Barb. Sure have missed your posts. The wind was HORRIBLE. Was wondering how Monument was with the wind. Ouchy, I can feel Michelle's sunburn!

I am sooooo mad at Ted's friend right now. MAD!!! I would love just to scream out! Long story so I won't bore you but at least I could vent. Thanks!

Oh no, Stacey is having problems with Frontier. They messed her up royally with the Sept trip. She asked for a full refund, which they obliged but now she is out there looking again.

I am home. Salt Lake was ugh, interesting. Definitely not Virginia Beach fun!!! I hung out at my hotel a lot. They are tearing down the "dowtown area" so there is nothing down there. Of course we were a block away from the "bad part." Oh well, good to be home.

Now I am off to help my sister.

We saw Pirates Wednesday night. Very late night since it didn't start until 9:30. But, we had Kaleigh in her jammies and enjoed popcorn and french fries. The movie was OK, but we left with a lot of unanswered questions. Kaleigh already wants the movie.

Yesterday was my mom's birthday so we went there in the evening. I had to take her her PC stuff. I stopped and bought a cake and ice cream, my mom ordered pizza and we had another late night.

Work was crazy busy this morning and I am off for 2 weeks.

Jerry is laying down since he didn't get much sleep this week.

I have 6 yards of mulch in my driveway. Can you guess what we will be doing this weekend?

We had a couple of t-storms today. I don't know if they are done or not. I am guessing yes.

I need to gather stuff this weekend to pack. Jerry has to occupy Kaleigh outside so she won't see what I am doing. Still trying to keep it from her until we actually leave.

Sandy: If you are really interested in learning Spanish, there is a wonderful program called Rosetta Stone. I plan on using this with Kaleigh when she is older.

We got all 6 yards of mulch put down yesterday and then other outside work. I am sooooo sore!

I am starting to gather stuff for leaving on Wednesday. Jerry is taking Kaleigh up to BJ's so I can do it without little eyes.

I think that is it except for GO TRIBE AND GO CAVS!

Hi all! It's been pretty hot around here. We had a nice storm this afternoon, but it cleared up around 8ish. We had a lazy day today. Garry, Anna Marie, and myself took turns going down to the fitness center to workout. While one was in the center, the others had the kids in the pool. We all ended up in the pool before the storm hit.

We had Garry and Becky (Garry's son and his wife) here for Thursday, Friday and Sat. It was nice to see them and they had a really good time with us. Brooke let both of them hold her and she even let them tickle her. Beckey called me today to tell me how well behaved the kids were. We did MK commando style (early 8am breakfast at Crystal Palace, did some attractions, went over to EPCOT did some attractions, took a small break and then back to MK for extra magic hours) and she said she couldn't get over that no one complained or cried or anything. AND she said how well behaved they were at breakfast and dinner. It was nice to hear. I thought they were being very good as well, but it was nice to hear it from someone else.

We had dinner on Sat. at Alfredo's. Interesting note.... I said to the manager when we were leaving that we were sad to see them go and he told me that they were too but they are going to open up somewhere in Orlando!!! I said oh really, that's interesting and he said yeah that was news to them too! SO, Alfredo's will not be in Disney BUT they will be opening up somewhere in the Orlando area after they close in Disney. It sounded like this JUST happened about opening up in Orlando. I wonder if they will go over to Universal? With Universal getting Harry Potter, I wonder if they will go over ther because of the new addition. It should be interesting to find out!!!

Not sure where we are going tomorrow. We tried to stay clear of the Studios since it was Star Wars weekend so maybe we will head there or over to Animal kingdom.

I am back to work too. I took most of last week off because of the Missionette graduation and I wanted to spend some time with Jaymee before she left today.

Julie I am confused isn't "the big guys" name Garry too? Garry has 2 sons named Garry? Wow that must be confusing. No other ideas for names eh?

Julie, that was so cool that you met Garry and Becky there. You don't need to tell us that your kids are good. We KNOW THAT! I am sure that it did make you feel good. Hey, did you hear about a couple getting "held up" on WDW property yesterday? Something about a couple of people making a couple of people withdraw some money at an ATM. The bad guys got away. I am serious on this so be careful if you use ATM's. I guess we will all have to go to Alfredo's off property. Sure would be worth it! We have never been to Olrando Universal. Just in CA.

Denine, so Wednesday is your big day, huh? You lucky duck! Wonder how the weather is in Orlando.

Julie: Glad to hear all went well with Garry and Becky's visit. Can't wait to get down there. So, we have Shula's on Saturday. Did you get anything else for us?

Called to pay off our October cruise today, but the balance due is all messed up because of our TA dying and her sister taking over the business. So, now I have to get that straightened out.

Kaleigh has a program at the library this evening so Jerry is going to use that time to pack. Everything is squirrled away in our closets. I sooo hope we can pull this off!

I am not AS sore as yesterday, but still sore.

Well the Cavs and Indians did just that, they went! Both lost. The Cavs look like they don't know how to play basketball!

Barb: So, is Jaymee off to Carolina then or someplace else?

Heidi: Glad to have you back!

Julie: Interesting about Alfredo's!
