Hello everyone!!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! It was a miserable weekend and I am forever grateful my family was down here so they could take care of my kids. Knock on wood, Joey and Tyler seemed to have not really gotten it.

Nothing too new here, fired our activity directors so now Richard and I plus the employees are all kicking in and covering that. It seems to be working good for now. In a couple weeks, we are firing another couple...the husband hides all day and doesn't do maintenance like he is paid to do. We have another couple coming in next week to work and we actually are getting ready to hire one more to cover ourselves better.

My kids are going to be 2 in a week...I can't believe it. We spent my birthday shopping...we redecorated my guest room which was well needed and we also bought stuff for Joey and Tyler's party...the theme is going to be Curious George...they love him so much now. Him and Buzz and Woody.

Barb-I would love to do lunch!!! Maybe when Heidi get's back from Salt Lake we can setup a date!!!

WAY TO GO CAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally won the Eastern Championship!

Well, have most of the clothes out to go into the suitcase tomorrow after the Indians game. Garry and I are going down for the game tomorrow afternoon. Then the zoo on monday, then Makenzie's class party in the morning on Tuesday and then we leave at 2:20pm ! We will have internet while we are down at WDW so I'll be checking in!

I am alive!!! I am feeling 100% better and I actually got up this morning to rollerblade around Clement Park and Johnson Lake. It felt so good to actually stand up on my own!!! And I even got to drink water!!!

Just a quickie,

Guess who I talked to on IM today.......DARREN!!! It was soooo much fun!! I happened to be talking to Bonnie on the phone so we somewhat had a 3 sided conversation. He is doing great. No longer at McD's. He is working at a Holiday Inn, customer service area. He is going to school for some sort of computer degree (can't remember what exactly) He apologized for not communicating with us for such a long time. He said to say hello to everyone. He was so cute. He said it was like a "reunion". I absolutely love the guy!

Gosh, what a busy day I am having. Just home long enough to walk to a Mamm. appt then off again. That flu certainly wasn't good for me. I gained 3 stinking pounds.

I posted or at least attempted to post this morning but got busy and it went away.

Heidi- I LOVE to watch the Deadliest Catch! My favorite is the Northwestern. I also like the Cornelia Marie. Which one is yours?

Well the Mother Daughter Tea, The Pirate Party and now the Family Luau are all behind me. Only big event left this Spring is next weekend. The Missionette graduation and it is the biggest one I have. I have so much to do this week to get ready.

This Summer I am teaching the women of the bible. I have chosen 3 women to base lessons on. We will be making a 9 patch quilt, a paperbag scrapbook and learning etiquette and doing an outreach project.

Should be fun.

I am not going anywhere yet. We don't leave until the 13th. Going to try to call Julie later.

Heidi: I am too late, but have a safe trip and I am glad you feel better.

Stacey: The birthday party sounds like fun! All that hiring and firing, not for me! That is why I am not management!

Lots of rain lately, but we did need it. But why does it only have to be 63 tomorrow????????

No basketball or baseball to watch tonight! We couldn't watch the clinching game on Saturday, but we did listen to it. Needless to say, I didn't do very well playing cards. I was paying too much attention to the game.

Barb: Sounds like everything has gone very well so far. I guess your idea to teach the women of the Bible was accepted by the powers that be. I am sure you are ecstatic that Jaymee is coming home!

The DSL is nice. It is faster than dial-up and I get to keep AOL too. Also, I don't have to worry about being on-line and no one able to get through on the phone, especially when Jerry works from home.

Well, gotta go give the baby a bath.

Barb, just the other day I was wondering how Jaymee was doing. I bet she can't wait to come home! How's Tiff and Missy and Ethan and Patty/Patti and everyone else?

I have talked to Stacey and Heidi a zillion times today. Stacey came up here for a play date for the babies so she is in 7th Heaven. Heidi made it too Salt Lake City. Likes her hotel so far.

Windy is the theme right now. A little downpour that never really hit the ground too. Strange. High 80 today and back down to the 70's by the weekend.

Good Morning!

YAY Jaymee comes home today!!! We go to the airport at 4:40 to get her. Since Jason and Michelle will also be flying in from their vacation in Mexico we are going to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory then back to the airport to get them at 8:30. Sandy you asked me a while back where in Mexico they were going and it just dawned on me I never answered. Well I am not sure.... I think Jason said somewhere near Cancun. Some all inclusive resort. I know they were doing some excursions or whatever you call land trips into Cancun.

Patty is doing good. I have not talked to her all week. She is always really busy and this week I have been pretty distracted getting stuff ready for graduation. Next year we will have graduation in May and I am going to spread out all these other events starting with the family pot luck in March, Mother daughter tea in April and graduation in May. S P R E A D O U T......

Went with my Mom plant shopping on Saturday then to the see Pirates. It was nice to spend time with her. She seems to be doing good.

I just can not seem to shake this "Fall" feeling. My mind keeps wondering to making Christmas stocking, buying Christmas presents and snuggling up by the fire in the evening. I have no idea why. It has been kind of cool here buy everything is so beautiful right now with flowers blooming and everything green.

Been working on my schedule for next years Missionettes. I am moving up with the girls I have taught for the past 2 years to a program called "Friends" I have some super fun stuff planned.

I also am going to have a traveling journal. Every week a differnt girl will take it home write down her thoughts then bring it back the next week for another girl to take home.

It is only inthe 50's and cloudy. A perfect gettaway day for Julie. Kaleigh wants to go out and play, but I don't know.

We have had sooo much rain that it can stop now. We are saturated.

We may go see Pirates tonight.

I ordered Kaleigh's math program. I can't order her Kindergarten program until July 1st when it is available.

Good for you Barb. You thought this thing through. S P R E A D O U T is a good word!!! Our all inclusive is out of Cancun by about 45 min to the south. It is Playa Del Carmen in the Mexican Riviera area. Love to know where Jason and Michelle went and what they thought!!

Denine, we are getting all that rain as well this spring. We just finally turned on the sprinkler system Sunday. Quite honestly, I am loving this cool weather.

We finally got our RCI number. I am so excited that we can now start planning on trips other than Mexico. We have two vouchers that we can use anywhere. They are for 149.00 for a week. Have to plan this out as they are only good for one year. I am hoping for maybe a DCL cruise or East Coast. Bad part of it is that we have to go to the DR and of course we want to get back to Mexico, then this Sept trip. Maybe something local like Aspen or Vail would be good instead.

Just realized that Julie is gone. Lucky girl. Hope they like the room. I am sure they will. After all, it is still in WDW where the rest of us aren't!

Just had a horrendous thunder and lightening storm.

Talked with Julie this evening. They had a good flight down and are already enjoying the Magic Kingdom. They are at the Swan tonight and check into Boardwalk on Wednesday. It is currently 91 in WDW. Much better than the 55 it is here!

Didn't make it to Pirates last night. It was looking like rain, so we are going tonight. It is sunny, but still only in the 50's which we never made it out of yesterday. At least tomorrow it is to be back up near 90! Yippeee! I will be warm again!

Just about time to start reading to Kaleigh for the day. We try to read a total of 45 minutes a day for the summer reading program.

I put a bunch of books on deck building on hold at the library. We need to see what we are in for if we try to do it ourselves.
