October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Oh mom, just reading that has me bursting out in laughter again!!!!!! I have tears in my eyes once again!!! Remember when Stacey was trying on dresses that you weren't the only one crying. I also remember me and Stace crying!!!! I figured it was excitement but just wanted to make sure!!! I am thankful I have been living at my place for almost 2 years now...if I was still living at home it would have been a lot more tears!!!! Makes it so much easier!!!

Barb - please be so careful driving. I am going to be so worried about you guys driving. This storm is supose to be as bad as last week but it is supose to snow from Thursday afternoon through Saturday.

Good Morning
I am so unsure we should leave today. We would get ahead of the storm but I keep thinking of trying to get back. If it is like last week we will never get down our street and into our driveway. I'm thinking I would rather stay home .

Oh my goodness Sandy, I'm glad you were ok. I am one of those people that never laughs when people fall. I am horrified. Even with Ethan I feel so bad when he falls it makes me want to cry. My niece is like Heidi, she laughs and laughs at stuff like that. Bananna peel falls justl never get old!

What movie did you guys see? We also went to a movie on Christmas. We saw "Night at the Museum" the day before that we saw the "Rocky" movie and the day before that we saw "The Navivity" It was so awesome I cried. Yes it's true I am a total crier. Hallmark cards, sentimental commercials, goodbyes, they all get me. I could take a stranger to the airport and stand there and cry when they left!

Barb, I am a MAJOR crier as well. I have to admit that when I fell I was horrified and then once Heidi started laughing I couldn't stop laughing either. I am still laughing about it.

Heidi, don't you worry. I remember it being a cry fest when Stacey tried on her dress. I wasn't implying that it was just me. How funny.....I was thinking the same thing that if you were still at home how difficult it would be.

Funny, I never cried trying on wedding dresses. I did, however, almost cry walking down the aisle and saying my vows, though you can't tell on the video.

All of you be careful with your snowstorm. Not quite as exciting this time, is it?

I work tomorrow morning. It will be weird. It has been too long.

Barb: I would like to see The Nativity, but I can't take Kaleigh. I think we will see Charlottes Web next week.

Heard from Julie last night. We are going to try to see Princessess on Ice together.

Sandy: I had never seen Song of the South either, but Splash Mountain is my favorite ride! Disney won't release the movie, so Jerry found me a bootleg copy. It is really good.

Denine, it will be kind of strange for you to get back to work again. But...good for you! Now I don't feel so bad about Song of the South! I hear it is VERY good. Give Julie a BIG HUG from me. The funny thing about my wedding is that neither one of us cried nor did we have second thoughts like a lot of people. It was meant to be.

Barb- How about two weeks from Friday? Richard gave me a day at the spa and I am going to use it on the 5th, so how about the 12th tentively??

It wasn't that bad of a word...it was only the "d" word. Something that I don't want her saying by any means though.

It was a cry fest for trying on dresses, especially when I found and tried on "the one". After it, there was no way I was getting anything else. I can't wait to see what Heidi chooses. A word from the wise though, Heidi, don't buy as early as I did. As mom knows, there was a many tears when we would try it on at home and I couldn't fit into it.

Not looking forward to more snow at all. At least this time I have the snow blower..Woohoo!!

Anyway, got to go make phone calls. Talk to everyone soon!!

So I just found out I may have a 5 day weekend (and atleast a 4 day weekend)!!! It has been declared that Tuesday, January 2nd will be the national mourning day for President Ford and I don't have to go to work on that day. Add a snow day tomorrow and with Monday being a holiday, that is 5 days off!!!! This couldn't have come at a worse time as I am swamped at work, but I guess my customers will just have to wait a few more days!!! I am going to stop worrying about it and jsut relax and have a great time off.

Barb - I am worried about you, how are you doing?

Everyone in Colorado must be feeling that enough is enough! I was jealous when you had snow for Christmas but now I don't envy Colorado. Since I am a nurse you have to stay until your relief comes so there have been times when you have been "stuck" at work. I can always get home with the four wheel drive (maybe not with the amount Colorado got) but you can't leave until someone arrives to take your place! Hope everyone is safe.

SANDY: You tell Ted to take it easy.

HEIDI: I am so excited for you

BARB: I hope you are okay and not "stuck".

Today is my son Derek's 25th birthday. He is my baby who now has the baby!

Happy Birthday Derek! Jeanne, I am sure that you could drive through this with your 4 wheel. Ted is doing great in the Pathfinder and I know that Heidi is out in her Pathfinder right now. We are expecting 2-7 inches today, another 3-6 tonight and then on Saturday they just don't know how to call it. They have done a terrific job on the main roads this storm. The medical personel are coming in with the personal things in case they have to stay. They want them well rested so somehow they are working with them.

Barb must have left town. It sounds like south of her is horrible. I think they are getting the brunt of the storm. Hope she is ok.

I am home alone now. Ted is off snow plowing the streets. He left me in a great position for shoveling, bless his heart. He moved a snow bank next to the driveway where I couldn't throw high enough anymore. I will be just fine. It has stopped but they say it will start again and go periodically through Sun morning. BUT....looks like they have downsized the storm for us. I am holding my breath.

Sheez, I have to worry about my brother and now Barb and Sally.

Sandy: I hope you guys don't end up with as much snow this time.

Work was good yesterday. Once I got there, it was just like always. Good thing I wasn't there the week before Christmas though. The Norwalk virus went through again. At least I have 2 days in January. I have gone through lean times before, and them someone quits and you get more time than you bargained for.

Went to Jerry's mom's for dinner last night. An early New Year's dinner since we won't be going over there on Monday.

Supposed to get quite a bit of rain on Sunday, probably leftovers from the CO storm in the form of rain like Christmas.

I am guessing Barb went to NM.

Heidi: Enjoy your time off. If everyone is off, they aren't going to be worrying about their jobs either.

Jeanne: I have been lucky. My replacement has always shown up, maybe not on time, but not terribly late either.

Sandy: Jerry and I never had second thoughts about our marriage either

Well, off to make a Weight watchers Italian cheesecake for tomorrow and help clean the house. Our friends will be here at 4 PM tomorrow.
