It was 91, very humid and I was exhausted and not making dinner. So, we went to DQ for blizzards!

I made 2 batches of sauce for the freezer. I didn't feel like it, but all the rain we had split a lot of my tomatoes so I had to get them made into sauce before they went bad. I have a batch cooling on the counter so I can put it in freezer bags.

Jerry is out cutting the jungle, I mean grass.

I figured I would sign on tonight since Jerry will have the compute tomorrow.

Sandy: Hope Ted's colonoscopy comes out OK. My dad has to get those, but I forget how often.

I hope you guys didn't get that golf ball size hail! Yikes! We haven't had any rain or storms yet today. I could go without!

I think we need to send out the Mounties for Julie and Jeanne disappeared again.

It poured down rain last night (early this morning) so I am sure it might be a little humid and cooler here today.

I am back, but I know everyone else is leaving. SInce know one else loves us I guess I will be talking to myself this weekend.

Sandy/Heidi: Enjoy the 60th wedding anniversary party!

It is 90 and humid. We haven't gotten any rain yet. Going for a walk in a bit.

Not much else going on. I really need to get out and do the trimming I didn't do last night. I guess I will wait till this weekend.

I just want to sit down with some wine and relax!

I knew I would be talking to myself this weekend.

The wine was good last night. We actually drank the whole bottle. We haven't done that in a long time.

I have yet another batch of sauce on the stove. I am running out of freezer room.

We went to Kohl's this morning. We had a $10 coupon that expired today. They were also having a big sale I didn't know about. I bought 2 picture frames and Jerry and Kaleigh each got a pair of shoes. Then we went to Home Depot for some stuff. Real exciting day, huh?

I needed to go to the library since I had books due today. It was pouring rain by the time I had a chance to go so I just re-newed them on-line and will go on Monday.

It is still raining, but it is a light rain.

Going to watch the ball game with more wine tonight.

I'll be back to talk to myself again tomorrow.

We're back. The party was great. The weather was hot, hot, hot. The temp was around 90 and the clubhouse had to have been over 100 (well, at least it felt that way, lol). About 60 plus people. I am tired and just want to sit today. We will see.....

My doctor appointment is Thursday Sept 6th. That is as soon as they could get me in. Kind of wish it was sooner because I am tired of this ugly thing.
Thank you for asking Heidi, what would I ever do without your caring friendship.

Church was great last night I have 20 girls this year. I really thought I would be lucky to get 10. The response has floored me. There is even a waiting list to get in my class! This year the girls will be doing puppet shows as part of their outreach.

Glad you had fun Sandy. Sounds like a good turn out. One party after another at the camp ground what is instore for next weekend?

Denine-You ae always busy cooking. Sure wish I had your talents.

Good morning. Had a good weekend but it was hot. Chris and the girls came down to the campground so we went swimming twice and played 2 rounds of putt-putt golf. The party was good but HOT. Tyler and Joey were so hot so I sat with them outside to eat cake and ice cream and cool off. The girls highlight of the weekend was riding in a golf cart with my sister. My highlight was having Tyler tell me to "stay here." He also put his hand out in front of me and said "stop, don't go." It was so cute.

Denine - you can send the sauce my way!! I have plenty of freezer room.

Barb - glad you have an appointment. They must not be too concerned about it, if they were they would have made you come in sooner. Sounds like all the girls are so excited to be in your class. I bet it feels great with all the girls wanting you.

Barb, what a nice compliment to have a waiting list to get into your class!! You need to pat yourself on the back.

My highlight of the weekend was when Joey was jealous of me holding a newborn baby!! I also loved it when Tyler was on the outside of the pool looking through the fence trying to get Heidi to "come on". He didn't want her in the pool. He wanted her to be with HIM!!

Joey was in my lap when she spotted grandma holding a baby. Joey would not take her eye off grandma until she was done holding the baby. The entire time she was talking about Joey's grandma holding the baby. Then when we passed by the baby, she said, "there is grandma's baby"!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be MIA for the next week. I have training for the rest of this week and will be at the campground for my 4 day weekend over Labor Day. I probably won't be able to get back on until next Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend.

I didn't make it on yesterday. We went to church and then home to change clothes and then off to grandma's house. We all went to Kiddie Land. Jerry's mom had been wanting to go again this year. Kaleigh had fun but wore herself out. Then we went to Friday's and then back to Jerry's mom's and them home for a bath and bed.

Today school went long.

Barb: I may have the cooking talents, but you sure have the creative ones!

Heidi/Sandy: Glad you had a good weekend with a nice party. CUte story about the baby.

I need to get up to the library when I am done here. I was ordering books on-line from the library for school. Each lesson has at least 1 book to get from the library.

Anyone have a craft idea for me? I am getting Noah and Graci the week after our cruise and I need ideas. They love to do crafts and I am out of ideas.

Sandy: I think Barb would be the one to ask for craft ideas. I am sooo bad in that area. I think mainly because I don't like doing them.

My allergies are driving me nuts. I am sooo tired from them. I just want to sleep.

We had to get Chitty chitty bang bang from the library yesterday for the 3rd time. Guess what Kaleigh is watching? I broke down this weekend and ordered it on Amazon along with Babe and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. SHe will get ccbb for her birthday. The other 2 will be for Christmas.

We got our airline tickets for December. We are staying 1 extra day. Maybe we can meet up with Jeanne quickly. We are going to Chef Mickey's on the 10th in the morning. We like to do something special our last day.

I was out in the yard trimming last night and the grass needs to be cut again already!

Denine, I hate doing crafts with Noah because he doesn't follow the directions. He always has to do it "his" way and then I get frustrated. Noah and Graci look forward to them so I always do it no matter what. I was kind of thinking about a claypot craft.

Heard back from our resort in Mexico. Guess they faired pretty good.

Sandy: Kaleigh has to do EVERYTHING her way! It gets very frustrating.

Pollen count is high today and I am so miserable. Kaleigh told me to take a nap.

Going to Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight.

I sorted though Kaleigh's clothes and am giving away everything that doesn't fit. I went through my boxes in the basement and didn't find much for this coming winter. Everything is too big. I guess I'll be buying more leggings. My friend told me her daughter liked those better than pants anyway since they were easier to pull up. I am guessing she wore them out which is why there aren't any pants in size 4 in the basement. Not much in 5 either. It looked like it was 6 and up.

Bought Kaleigh a CUTE jumper and top at Target last night. They will most likely be for next year though. I got her a 6.

I'm here. I am off after today until Tuesday. My doctor's appointment was moved up to tomorrow because my condition is getting worse.
I hope I find out something tomorrow. Wonder how long it takes to results back from a biopsy.

Sound like Kaleigh is really growing. I was looking at Ethan the other day in his summer jammies and boy are they getting small. Time to get bigger ones.
