Barb: :grouphug: It shouldn't take long to get the results back. The doctor may even see if he can remove the whole thing tomorrow. Let us know how it goes. They grow so fast! Kaleigh had a real growth spurt this summer.

Denine- would they remove it before the biopsy results come back? Do you think I will look really bad? Does it take long to heal?

Barb, mine was taken off the day he spotted it and then sent in for a biopsy. I have to give the dr credit. I never saw it, I was in for a well woman check and HE found it. The biopsy came back if I remember correctly in about 2 days. Great that the appointment was pushed up!!

Denine, you are so lucky to get hand me downs. Graci wore a lot of leggings at Kaleigh's age. I think they are adorable plus great for the potty run.

Sandy-I confused I thought you were not going to watching Graci and Noah anymore because Mom got a different job.

Does it hurt to have a biospy? Do you think my face will take a long time to heal? What is the procedure for removing it?

Well let's see what has been going on since I had last posted........

Anna Marie turned 17 on the Aug. 7th and she started school (her senior year!!!) yesterday.

During the FIRST BIG BIG rain on the 7th, our basement flooded. EVERYONE on the street got water in their basement! We think the city had blocked off the drains at the end of the street due to some construction that they were involved in. We say this the city screwed something up because once people on the street started to call the city saying water was coming from our drains in the basement, they didn't send anyone out but OUT OF THE BLUE after the city had workers at the end of the street, after a hour or so, the water started to go down:confused3 ;) ! SO, we had about 3 inches in our basement, LOTS and LOTS of toys had to go, the couch we had down there went, some tables, rugs, our Christmas tree box destroyed (the Tree is up in the garage right now... that's another story.... drying out) and the carpet and padding had to be torn out and EVERYTHING had to get tossed! SO, we had that going.....

Haven't seen Anna Marie since her birthday. We had a 40th birthday party for Garry's cousin one weekend, last weekend was my SIL's 40th surprise birthday party (which I had to borrow 2 tents from one of the guys Garry works with since it was scheduled to rain (which it did), and this Friday my cousin is getting married.

The kids started school today! They were soooooooooo excited!! The Big Guy is in first and Makenzie is in 3rd. Makenzie started her soccer last week. Brooke will be starting Pre School on Sept.11th. She will be going to school for 2 hrs 3 days a week! SHe will be going Tues, Wed, and Thurs morning at 9:30am to 11:30am. She is going to a different preschool then Garry and Makenzie went to. She can't wait!

Oh yeah..... I'm waiting for the garage door company to come out and put a new garage door on our garage. (the other story) It broke last friday and we haven't been able to get into it (except me climbing through one of the little windows on the front of it to try and get it open when it broke ...... let's just say that wasn't a pretty sight!)

Garry has been swamped at the station with a whole bunch of stuff! Today he had a visit from some people from the F.*.*. shhhhhhh!

We also had the city's party in the park to do, my nephew's birthday, a graduation party (another long story.... we weren't there very long), I had to do a teacher's welcome back breakfast for the school yesterday morning at 7:30am, and we had open house for school last night.

Today was Garry's dad's birthday. We are going to the Indian's game tonight because we promised that every year we will go the ball game for his birthday. When the big Guy doesn't have his first day of school that day (like today) he will go with his dad to the game because that's what Garry's dad wanted. We thought that the Big Guy would be too tired from today to enjoy the game tonight.

SOOOOOO, I've been around. Tired??? What's tired? Garry is a walking zombie and I'm right there too!

I'll be back and not so long next time!

Barb, let us know as soon as you know anything:hug: !

Heidi and Sandy, have a great weekend at the camp grounds.

Denine, sorry to hear about your allergies.

I promise to be back later this week, weekend....

Oh by the way, the garage people are now 1 hour and 1/2 late! Can anything be simple????

Julie: I am so glad you posted. We were worried about you! So sorry about your basement and the garage door. We would have loved to see you crawling through the window though! Happy Birthday to Anna Marie!!
Enjoy the ball game. Happy first day of school to the kids! So will Garry have interesting stories to tell us?

Barb: It depends on the size and depth of the area as to how it will be removed. You will get a little bandaid on your face. My mom's were all on her face. They do a good job so you can't tell where it was. Hang in there!

Jerry is now home and changing clothes, so we are off to dinner. I am hungry.

:cool1: :grouphug: YAHOO JULIE POSTED. Even the Mounties didn't help this time. I am so sorry about your basement. I can't even start to understand what you went through. Then there is Anna Marie.....17. Wow, and then Miss Brook in preschool. I still think of her as the little baby I saw in the DCL parking lot. We love you Julie. Glad you are back.

Barb, what they did for me was to take off the spot (on my ankle) and send it in for the biopsy. Ted's dad had tons of it on his face. They deaden (sp) the spot so it doesn't hurt. Honestly, I feel you will be fine. Hugs.

Good morning everyone.

We leave tonight for the campground and won't be back until Monday. We have to bring back the trailer for good this weekend. We need some warranty work done. Kind of sad knowing that it is the end of the camping season and we won't be seeing Stacey every week. I tell myself that at least we have the trip to look forward to but it doesn't help. The trip is only about a week and a half. After that, the snow flies. ICK!

Sandy: Have a safe trip to the campground. SUmmer went by soooooooo fast. But, then, it always does. Enjoy your weekend.

I have to work tomorrow. Hopefully Saturday we will go to the fair. I did not pick up Monday to work, so we have 3 days to chooses from.

I made the cold tomato sauce for the pasta tonight and I made more sauce for the freezer.

We are done with school for 4 days.

My allergies are a bit better today. I hope they stay that way.

Nothing really interesting going on here.

It should be perfect fair weather tomorrow. I can't wait!

Barb: How did everything go yesterday?

Work was OK but I got my September schedule and they only gave me 2 days. I do have a nurses meeting to go on Wednesday, so I will get paid for that. Oh well.

I just wanted to post quickly before I get Kaleigh in for a bath. I want her in bed fairly early since tomorrow will be a long day.

Happy Labor Day weekend.

We spent 9-10 hours at the fair yesterday. We had a good time. Kaleigh loved the ride, of course. We had some good food, and saw some animals. We watched the harness racing for a while. We saw the hot air balloons go up. It was a long day, but a good day, except for my allergies.

Today we went to Jerry's moms. We had a cookout. We just got back and Jerry is washing the car and Kaleigh is playing. I napped today since my allergies are wearing me out and I can't afford to get sick.

Tomorrow we are going to the Oktoberfest. We are taking Jerry's mom with us. We have never been. It was either that or the airshow. I thought Kaleigh would be bored at the airshow for the most part.

It is a beautiful weekend!

I am having another Pampered Chef party in November.

Good evening

Happy Labor Day!

Denine- You always have the funniest stuff going.

I am getting ready to go to bed. I have had a friend from 2nd grade here visiting all weekend. Have not seen her in about 15 years. Did crafts most of the weekend. I got 20 Halloween bags sewn for Tiffany and 10 out of the 20 I need to do for my Missionette class done. I also got 4 pillow cases sewn. I am sewing pillow cases for my Missionettes and embroidering their names on them for Christmas. I also got a couple pillow cases sewn for Ethan, one is Snoopy Fall and Mickey Mouse Halloween material. CUTE!

I went to the skin cancer doctor on Thursday after he looked at it he had a really long name for it and said it was not cancer. He cut it off and burned it to stop the bleeding. It looks a million times better already. Scare gone! :woohoo: Thanks for all your support.

Talk to you all tomorrow.

Barb: YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had fun at the Oktoberfest today. YUMMY food! They even had German wine. We watched a puppet show and Kaleigh laughed the whole time. Kaleigh has decided she loves bratwurst much better than hot dogs. She is not a fan of hot dogs, but eats them when she has to.

Tomorrow is back to reality, but it has been a great 3 days. The weather has been beautiful too.

Now Jerry is wondering if I should make German food for Kaleigh's party instead of the lasagna I was going to make.

Barb: I am lucky if I get my mending done let alone all those lovely projects you are working on. We want to see pictures when they are completed.

As they say at the Oktoberfest: Ticky tacky, ticky tacky.....

Good Morning

Thought I would post early before I get busy and forget. Hope everyone had a super good weekend. We didn't do much but I sure got a lot done one the stuff I am making. I am going to work on the pillow cases today. I got 8 of them made just need to start embriodering their names on them.

I have been making decorations to decorate our room in December at Saratoga. I make Mickey Hats with everyone's name one them and some Mickey heads. I still need to get some lights and maybe a small tree. Think I will make some snowmen with Mickey hats on too.

The Octoberfeast sounds like a lot of fun Denine! Never have been to one may have to try it out.

Denine - Oktoberfest sounds like a lot of fun. I went to an Oktoberfest a long time ago up in one of the ski towns here, it was fun. I am with Kaleigh, the brats are way better than hot dogs.

Barb - glad it was not cancer, what a relief but a good reminder to wear sunscreen and protect our skin.

Julie - sounds like you went to a few Indian games, I can't believe you won't see Ann Marie for that long, I guess it gets harder when they get older. I hope we will never go that long without the girls, Chris would be a total wreck.

I had a very boring week last week in training. If I could have gone when I requested it (3 years ago) it would have been good, but since I have been doing it for 3 years it was a really basic class for me. We had a busy but good weekend. I am sure my sister is glad it is over. My parents pulled the trailer back last night and it was a very stressful drive. (I will let my mom tell you about it.) But now I am back at work and can't wait to leave next week for vacation!!!

Thanks for making fun of my German Julie! I hadn't a clue how to spell it.

Heidi: GLad to have you back. For a little while anyway until you leave us for vacation.

Sandy: So, tell us about your harrowing trip home.

Barb: Do you want to come decorate our room at OKW?
