Took everyone's advise and went to see Along Came Polly.

Funny movie .......John loved it!! I thought that it was a relaxing no brainer.....just what we needed!!

You can tell Dodger is home - up & out walking the dog at 6:00 AM on my day off but you gotta love him! I have SOOOOO much to do today. When I work the weekend it takes me a little while to catch up at home. Did work with Joyce this weekend but she was on 3rd floor working & I worked 2nd so we didn't really have time to talk but we are planning a "Los Amigos" night after work Friday. Bonnie are you interested? Can there be anything more fun then Margaritas & crabcakes?????????????????

I ordered a poodle skirt for Saturday but received an e-mail that it is unavailable. It gives me five days to find another skirt. There is one costume shop about 10 miles from my house & that is on my list of "to do" things today.

SANDY: Called you last night & got your Tinkerbells. I will try to call today about 12:00 noon your time.

Hi everyone! We got back home last night and back to work today.....oh yuck.

We've had a pretty sad few months and I can't thank everyone enough for all the thoughts and prayers. Mom died 6 weeks to the day after Sue and it was a lot to take in. Ken is holding up pretty well on the outside but I'm very worried about him. He holds a lot in and I heard through the grapevine that he is having dizzy spells and blacking out. He was planning to stay to get some estate details worked out but I convinced him that I need him here so we can regroup. I knew the only way to get him away from all that was if it was for me. He's so good to me.

Sandy, thank you so much for the card, it was beautiful.

Time to think happy thoughts like going on a cruise!

Hi everyone. Busy day. Ted took it off so my schedule is always turned upside down. Got my contacts checked and I am running very close to 20/20. Happy with that. Once I get used to the contacts, I think that I will try the monovision ones. Ted might just start off with monovision. He is waiting to see how I do with contacts.

Lori, forgot to tell you that the Disney outlet is back and is at Colorado Mills. Stacey and Richard were surprised that there wasn't much there for Disney but lots of Universal or something like that. I am not going to check it out.

Jeanne, your party sounds like a blast. Can't wait to here all about it.

Patty, glad that you checked in. Hope Ken does come home for awhile. I think he needs away from all of it for a time.

Laurie, don't you sometimes like those no brainer movies? I know I do! Just go, relax and laugh!

Lori, life is good! I know I can beat the bummer feelings that I am having. I have before. I just need to talk things over with Stacey and get it out of my system. Heidi and I are upset because Stacey and Richard combined 2 videos taken at the wedding and didn't even bother to use ours that Heidi's boyfriend videoed. It did turn out wonderful so our feelings are hurt. He did not spend any time with Heidi so he could tape. They did use my brothers and Richard's nephews tapes. It just seems like our feelings are always neglected so they can be nice to his family and my brother. It is starting to build up with Ted, Heidi and myself. I know what it is, we are just the parents and are always there no matter what.

Oh well, enough whining. I can get through it. Like Patty said, time to think happy thoughts like going on a cruise!

I can relate to the blahs. I haven't posted in a fews days because I didn't really have anything positive to say. I think it must be the winter blues. I am so ready for warmer weather to get here and stay! I also don't like the fact that it is just getting light out when I leave for work and just getting dark when I am coming home.

Turner has a hockey tournament in Augusta, Georgia this weekend so maybe that will help. I always enjoys his games.

We need Denine to come back and tell us about her Disney trip. Hearing about someone's fun at Disney always helps out.

Just wanted to say "Good Morning" since Dodger had me up at 5:30 AM for a walk. Going to the hairdressers at 9:00 AM since I think Sandy from Grease has blonde hair & not blonde hair with dark/grey roots!

Bobby has been REALLY busy with his new company which I know is a good thing but not a good thing for me! Hoping to see him today but I have to go to a little retirement get together this afternoon. Bonnie: Do you remember Ann Hesek? She has retired along with Ann Mathews.

ok, it is a new day and full of happy thoughts.....I have been cleaning up my greenhouse and looking forward to getting some seeds started and it won't be that long until I can buy some plants to put in there...spring is one of my happy thoughts!!

Another one is Barb and I started our weight loss class and diet....maybe that doesn't sound like a happy thought to you but it is to me because I just know we are going to be successful and be ready for our Oct cruise with a lot less of us going...weight that is. We are going on a shopping spree and get on board looking good!!

I gave a lot of my craft supplies to a lady yesterday and she is going to take the rest when I get it all boxed up so that is a wonderful happy thought. I will be able to get my sewing room organized.

Soon it will be spring and a new beginning.....don't you just love spring! I believe it is 42 days away.....

I'M BAAAAACK...
Did you miss me, huh? huh? huh?

First: I am so sorry for everyone's losses, illnesses, and down and out blues. Yikes, let's get some smiles going around here

Second: Sandy, thanks for asking about the surgery. I had the Ossotron procedure on January 30th and walked right out of there ( a little woozy, but good). I go back on Monday for my first re-check. My heel is a little sore now, but I have been up on it for 2 days (going back to work).

Third: We went to Santa Fe the day of my surgery. We had a blast. It was my mom's 60th so David, Clare, my brother Kurt, mom and dad and I spent a week of relaxing and partying
Clare skiied for the second year with my brother. David's knee and my heel wouldn't allow for it. She had a great time though.

I am glad to be back, checking in and reading all of the posts.
Hang in there everyone...The sun will come out tomorrow....

Wow, Krista. Wish my surgery was as easy as yours. My question was answered. You didn't have my type of surgery. Good for you!!!! Sounds like you will be better off in the long run. I am jealous that it wasn't around 4 or 5 years ago.

Glad that Clare got to ski. Our girls just loved skiing at that age. We went every weekend so I think Stacey burned out but Heidi misses going. I can't with my feet and Ted has gotten out of the routine.

Susan, sorry about your blahs too. What is it? I think that is probably what has Stacey too.

Oh, Krista, I so want to break out in song but I will be good. The sun will come out tomorrow.......bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow...... Thanks now I will have that in my head all night.

I caught myself saying something to Cody tonight that just might be the culprit. He was so sorry and repentant for breaking a post in the stairway banister tonight (he's a boy!) that he was crying in bed tonight. I hadn't even yelled! Just did the disappointed act. Anyway he was SO sorry, I told him that no matter what he did, I'd always love him. Even if he broke my heart, I'd love him with both halves.
SEE, that's why they figure we'll always be there!

Hiddy Ho everyone!!! Sorry I haven't posted much either lately, but have been busy with trying to get this house ready for the the Big Guy's birthday party on Sun. It isn't too big, just mostely my side of the family, but I have to clean this mess up before anyone steps foot in my house. We are FINALLY getting carpet in our basement!!! We had carpet in the basement when we movedin, but the bath tub leaked and destroyed the carpet. We ripped it up and never replaced it since we didn't us the basement ( I know, have a basement and don't use it DUH!!). NOW I NEED to use the basement for a place for the kids to play, so carpet was nessesary.

Garry FINALLY got two nights off in a row (last night and tonight) so we tried to spend that time together since we haven't had much time to do that.

Brooke is sleeping through the night! Since last Thursday! She has her last bottle aournd 1:30 -2:00 am and sleeps until 8:30 -9:30 am (depending on the day)! Such a good girl!!!!!!!!!!

Well, nothing else new going around here. Will be planning Brooke's baptism soon. Want my mom to be able to walk around a little better before we had it. She is doing real good! I'm so proud of her!!!!!!!!!!

Well, gonna go! Will check back in later!

We didn't get the snow they said we would....which is good as Barb and I have a scrapbook club meeting tonight.

We went out to dinner last night to celebrate Tiffany getting her drivers license....my last baby grandchild to get her license....how fast they grow up.

Curves this morning and then I think I will work on my sewing room and get some more things packed up for the craft lady.

Hi guys, hope everyone is having a better day. I tell you. What would I do without dear ol' Heidi? Love ya, mean it.

Speaking of love ya mean it. Lori, did you and Katie read it all?

It is a cold and snowy day. Tomorrow will only be 5. Now that is cold. Why Thursday? Why? That is when I have to drive both ways to Noah's preschool. Their mom doesn't put on their coats in the car for a better car seat fit so it really causes a lot of extra work to get them to and from and keep them warm. Coats do create bulk so I do agree with her. Just don't like the extra work.

Lori, you put it so nice to Cody. I will always remember that one.

Sally, good to hear from you. So Tiffany is getting her drivers llcense?? Yep, they grow up fast!
