Happy Birthday Kaleigh!!!!

Wow!! 2 years old! The terrible twos...wouldn't have given them up for the world! Such fun.

Went back to bed...up early. I thought I was dreaming and hearing my next door neighbor call my name...he really was calling me from out back. Then he yells to me "my wife had a heart attack!" Well, I still thought I was dreaming because he was in the hospital this week to have a defibrilator put in as a result of his heart attack. She had hers while he was in the hospital. They put them in the same room!! He is home, she will come home today or tomorrow and then go back for a triple bypass. They have no children, both in their 60's and rather active. And both of them a little high strung and truly devoted to each other. I feel so bad for them.

Thant's it...plan on cleaning today and lay low.

Jeanne-if you ruin Castaway Cay I will be really upset with you!!!!!

Just like old times. Garry vs. Bonnie. At least he leaves the rest of us alone!

My cowboy is picking me up around 5:30 P.M. to take me to the rodeo. It should be really fun!

HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY KALEIGH! I can't believe she is two already!

My Mom is doing really well but still in the rehab. hospital. She can now get out of bed with the use of the walker. It will probably be another week before she comes home.

The other "JEANNE" better behave herself. I can't believe it is predicted to hit the same area. Poor Castaway Cay. Hope you all have a great weekend. Party time tomorrow in work - five birthdays. Can't wait to see Joyce & find out how the Irish people made out. Toodles JEANNE (not the hurricane).

Jeanne, how was the rodeo? Happy to hear that your mom is up and walking with the walker. We are to the point where we might have to take my FIL's walker away from him. He is now depending on it too much.

Got a lot done on the trailer. Working on the hail damage so we can get it put away for winter. Our original summer and fall plans were to put in new windows, new trim and paint but the hail put us so far behind. Guess it will be next spring for everything. Anyone want to float us a loan?

Bonnie, that is so sad about your neighbors. At least they were in the hospital together.

We had a great time at Kaleigh's birthday party today. The Big Guy and Makenzie LIVED the party! They had a blast. Brooke showed off by walking all over the house and climbing the stairs (oh yeah...I forgot to tell you all about that, she climbs steps!). Denine and Jerry's new house is very nice! I told her that since it is so big, they have plenty enough room for another baby!!! They do have 2 spare rooms!

All of you made a great decision about NOT staying at Ron Jon's. Jeanne is not being very nice. Vero Beach is getting a direct hit! Hopefully this will be the last one! BUT I did hear about a TD Matthew is beginning to form. I hope that I heard that wrong though!

Disney Destinations Hurricane Jeanne Update

Saturday, Sept. 25, 7 p.m. Eastern Time



Walt Disney World Resort

Based on information from the National Weather Service and consultation with emergency preparedness officials, Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks will be closed Sunday, Sept. 26.

All Walt Disney World Resort hotels will remain open throughout the storm to serve the tens of thousands of Guests currently on property. Guests staying at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campground have been relocated to other hotels on property.

The Walt Disney World Resort has an extensive hurricane preparedness plan and is staffed and prepared for a realm of possible impacts that this type weather could have on the resort's property.

Good morning everyone. Just got off the phone from talking to Heidi and her boyfriend, Chris, was on the phone talking to his family members in Florida. Blue sky has already hit Vero Beach and Orlando. Heidi has been unable to contact her friend today that just moved to Florida. She did talk to her yesterday and she reported seeing blue and pink lightening. Strange! Anyone know about CC? Hopefully, I will find time to get on the board and see what they have to say.

Thanks Julie for the update. Interesting and fun to know what is happening at WDW. I can just picture this tiny little baby climbing steps. She is one brave baby! I am very pleased that we changed our minds on RonJon's. I just didn't want to gamble "no room at the inn" once we got notification from them about the closure. It would be horrible to have to turn into street people in a town you aren't familiar with.

Well, better run and go help with the trailer. Getting things done and that is wonderful.

Hi all! they just showed Vero Beach on the weather channel and boy does it look bad! All the streets were underwater! I can't imagine what that must be like.

Our babysitter moved to Florida back in July and her family has now been through 3 hurricanes! She didn't like it there when she moved so I can imagine that she really doesn't like it there now!

Jeanne has wrecked havoc upon poor FL. I remember decades ago when CA was supposed to fall into the ocean...Will FL still be there when we all go?

I know who Cowboy is!! How was the rodeo? I have only been to one rodeo and I cried. I hated the way the animals are treated. It was a free rodeo so we left early. The girls were quite young and it left a bad impression also. But this is coming from someone who doesn't like the circus because of the animal treatment.

Bonnie, it was fun talking to you. It got me out of some work!

Julie, Heidi's friend hates Florida and are seriously thinking about coming back.

Hi everyone! Kaleigh had a great party yesterday and looked sooo pretty in her Princess Aurora dress! She got some nice toys and clothes. She loves clothes. She says pretty and cute when she sees them.

Brooke does a great job of walking, althoug, it is strange to see someone soo young walking. But, look who she has to keep up with!

Poor Florida! I saw in the paper today that the hotel we stayed at for our honeymoon in Grenada won't be ready for about 4 months. It's sister hotel across the way (the one I really wanted to stay at, but it was too expensive) lost 90% of it's roof and won't be ready for another year. Then there are the poor people in Haiti. I am guessing they learned what happens when you deforest a place.

Me and Kaleigh both have doctor appointments tomorrow. Jerry may work from home. I may not have computer access.

Julie: NO MORE BABIES FOR US!!! Just kitties once we get home from vacation.

Got back late yesterday. Couldn't login over the weekend from Atlanta.

We're waiting to see how Paul's sister made out from Jeanne. Since she made it through Francis, we are hoping for another miracle. Now Jeanne is heading this way. We are expecting higher winds with this one than the last few. We need to secure a few things outside so they don't get tossed around.

The boys played much better this weekend in Atlanta but still didn't pull out the win. Since these are scrimmage games, they weren't too upset about it. All in all, we had a good trip.

I'm praying Castaway Cay made it OK for you guys. I know you all are getting so excited for the cruises. Hope everyone's docs arrive soon. I remember the excitement waiting for them. Once they arrived, you know the cruise is not far away!!

Good morning all!!

Happy Belated Birthday to Kaleigh!!

Finally got a hold of my friend and they did alright. She said it was scary but pretty cool. They videotaped their first hurricane and said the lightning was really cool. She moved her car out into an open field because everyone else was doing it and it was a good thing because a big tree was uprooted and landed in the parking lot. She said their is a lot of uprooted trees and broken light poles. They lost power for 2 days but now have it back. Hopefully Chris's family faired as well as my friend but Chris's sister lives in Port St. Lucie where the eye went through. Chris's sister went to Orlando and his mom went to Key West.

I am getting more and more excited for vacation. I just can't wait. My friend leaves for Italy today but will first touchdown in Orlando to pick up her sister. She is concerned because she heard they have a curfew of 11:00 and her plane doesn't get in until 11:52, she is afraid she will have to stay at the airport over night.

Heidi, just heard on Good Morning America that all airports are open now in Florida EXCEPT Orlando. Oh-oh!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Kaleigh.

She had her 2 year check-up today. She weighs 26 pounds and is 32-3/4" tall. She is still in the 50th percentile for weight, (just a tidge under) and just above the 25th percentil for height.

I had my asthma breathing test and did very well. Gotta love advair!

Jerry did work from home today. It was a beautiful day.

Hopefully the landscapers can start tomorrow. The utilities were marked today. We also get our garage door opener tomorrow.

When you ask Kaleigh how old she is, she says "two".

Checked out the website for the horseback riding. I am a little concerned about the reports your mom told me about though...the horses being in poor condition. It would break my heart if they are. Need to check out those reports first.

Oh Oh...washing machine making a funny noise...it figures!

ANother doozy day at work...you can call me "the Donald" soon...have to put someone on corrective action and probation. Has to be perfect for the next year if the job is to remain intact for this one...second time this year for corrective action.
