Hope you feel better soon Barb!
Heidi: One more thing to check off your list!
Sally: Thank you!
Sandy: We got off in Manzanillo as well and walked into town with Kaleigh. It wasn't bad, but we turned around and came back.
We got Schawann's a long time ago. I am just not a "prepared" food person. I like to make my own.
Sandy: I am terrible at crafts. If it wasn't for my lesson manual I wouldn't have thought about the masks. We made a lion today. It looks pretty cool too. They could make simple musical instrument like a tambourine. Take 2 paper plates, fill with dry beans and staple together, let the kids decorate them and then make lots of noise. You can also make a drum with an empty carton. Cover the top with construction paper and secure with a rubber band. Wrap the container in construction paper first. THen they can decorate it and play it with their hands. At that age, Kaleigh really just liked scribbling, "painting" and putting those foamies stickers on paper along with buttons and other things.
We got the bathroom primed. Now we need to go shopping for paint, a curtain and rod.
I tore beds apart this morning and got them all washed up and put back together.
I have bread in the machine to go with German Potato soup for dinner.
I am going to go sit and do my needle work pretty soon. My goal is to finishe that castle this year. Kaleigh was watching me work on it yesterday for the first time in months. I told her I would teach her how when she gets older.
I work tomorrow, so Jerry works from home.
Finally, we could use some pixie dust. We have known for a while that Jerry could get laid off. Key is going to be outsourcing a lot of computer jobs. He made it through the first round of layoffs in December. They are going to be making their decision soon which projects are going to be outsourced. We are really hoping that what he does can't be outsourced, but you never know. Julie already knows our situation since they were with us in December. We didn't know if Jerry was going to have a job when we got home from vacation. We have been trying to go on as normal, but it is getting to be crunch time and we can use all the prayers we can get. Thanks.

). So after doing Mexico and Figment and the kids finally got to meet up, we took an early night and went to the grocery store. We of course met up with Denine and Jerry there too, and all of us being good...... NOT! LOL! **funny event*** I had the Big guy sitting in the basket area of the cart with some of the food and Brooke in the seat area and as I was ringing the food up (self ringing aisle) the "bag boy" started to pack the groceries for me. I told the Big Guy I would get him out in a minute since we had to put the bags into the cart to get them out to the car and the Bag boy says "I'll help him out . I told him to be very careful since he is very heavy and he said no problem. He helped Garry out of the cart and said "boy you are a big fellow. How old are you... 10..11? I told him no, 6. Just then Garry and Makenzie walked up and the bag boy said to Garry, "sir, I hope you are intending on putting him in football! He'll be good!". I just thought that was a cute story. Anyways, we took the food back to the room and called it a night.
I can't wait to hear about what was so funny!!!
I don't think Stacey wanted me to barge in on another vacation.
with my grandaughter. She was given Box seats so it should be fun.....don't even know who they are playing...
