Just went back and read everything. A bunch of chatty cathies! And wow, Patty posted more than once. What a surprise!
Julie, sorry about the big guy! Glad he is ok. What kind of surgery was it? How did they get it.
Barb, the accident sounded horrible. How is everyone?
Sally, I have to go back and watch BB. Lots and lots of episodes! Can you believe that so many reality shows will be back SOON? Can't wait.
Bonnie, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AGAIN! Glad I got you on the phone.
Susan, thanks for coming through and posting. Heidi sure needed all the support from all of you!
Jeanne, it is hard being away from all of you.
Denine, I am glad I got hugs from you guys before we disembarked. Didn't get to say good bye to the dudettes.
The cruise was stupendous. We all loved the hurricane day except Joyce. She took a look at breakfast and had to run out of Topsiders. She stayed put in a chair for most of that day, bless her heart. Even our server was out for the day. It didn't bother us at all. In fact, wish we could have had more days like it, sorry Joyce! Manzanillo was awful. Glad that we survived. Acapulco wasn't anything to brag about but Jeanne, Ted and I really, really enjoyed the 10:30pm cliff diver show. We had first row seats. Couldn't get a more perfect spot. We chose the 10:30 show because they dive with torches. Curacao was so quaint. Just loved it and would love to go back. It is dutch and of course that would interest the VAN HORN's! People were so friendly and it was so clean. We snorkeled and canoed there. Both were fun. While snorkeling we saw an octopus. Jeanne and Joyce didn't snorkel though. Bonnie did it for the first time. Days at sea were plentiful and were by no means boring. Plenty to do. Ted's and my favorite thing was to hang out by the pool. Joyce liked it just as much. Bonnie and Jeanne are always wanting to go, do etc so they couldn't sit still as much as us 3. Riding the elevator with Roy and wife was exciting. They are a cute couple. Saw Mark Curry around the ship a lot and Joey Fatone quite a few times as well. They walked around the ship just like any other passenger. Most people left them alone. Some took pics of Joey at the bar threatening to sell the pics of him to the enquirer because if you remember right he went into rehab for drugs and alcohol. Those people were DISers.
We met lots of DISers. Some nice, some strange and some, well you know. NONE OF THEM COMPARED TO ALL OF YOU and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I don't think that we can ever bond with anyone from the boards as much as we have here!!
This is a long post because Jeanne said I had to make the report. Thanks Jeanne,
I still have 3 more threads to go. Guess they will have to wait until tomorrow. I am tired.
Love to all.
Thanks so much for being there for Heidi. I know that Heidi now understands the love I have for all of you.
