Hi guys! What a chatty bunch today!

Heidi, so are we still on for Sunday??? I'll be here so just let me know. Oh,about your mom and Dad's friend, even though she peaked in on the board and found out, don't worry about it. A lot of time they send people to a nursing home for lots of reasons. The main one is if they live alone and the dr's don't feel that they are able to take care of themselves without someone else there until they are completely healthy. It may only be temporary. You can come here for the weekend for Labor day if you want!!!

Patty, thanks for asking about my foot. It is doing ok. It is still achy and sore so I don't know what the dr. will do on Tues when I go back to her. We shall see!

Susan, glad to hear Turner loves middle school! I knew he would love it! I bet he will be a heart throb with the girls!!!! We need updated pictures!!!!!!

Ok, my post that was lost last night was pretty much the same as but I had to tell you about Makenzie's first day. I had packed her a lunch and send money to buy lunch tickets so we will have tickets when she decides to buy her lunch at school. Well, when I got her from school, I asked her about school and how did she like lunch. She said it was good and that she had a hot dog. Now that isn't what I packed her (she had a lunchable that she really likes among other things). I asked her where she got that from and she said she bought it from the school. She decided to buy her lunch because she liked what they were having. But she said, I ate some of the food you sent me too. So, me who was sooooooooo worried about her and if she was going to do ok, taught me a lesson the first day of school. I can't believe she is doing so great. She tells me each day I pick her up that today was better then yesterday.

The Big Guy starts on Sept 12th. He will go 3 mornings a week so I will only have Brooke for those three mornings. Boy does time fly!!!!

Also, we got hit pretty hard here last Sat (20th) with a big storm. They have been showing people on the news with soooooo much water damage. I'm alittle concerned for Denine and Jerry when they get back. North Ridgeville (where they moved to) got hit pretty hard and they are showing all these people with water damage in the basements and throwing everything that they had in their basements out. Some of the people they showed were in these pretty homes and one couple had just moved into this new house a few months ago. Hopefully their house came out of this storm without any damage. Boy, wouldn't that be lovely to come home to from a 2 week cruise! The one local mall had about 75 cars totaled. The rain came down so hard and so fast, that they could move their cars and got covered half way up the car doors with water. One of the basements to one of the department stores also got flooded.

I hope the "now cruisers" weather improves! Sounds like some more rough weather ahead of them. Florida is gonna get it again it looks like around Boca Raton and Miami. We shall see.

Well,gonna go. I have to get dinner ready. Have a great day tomorrow!!!!

Hey, have you guys seen the "ranch tooth" commercial for Wendy's? I laugh ever time I see it. Garry had to explain it to me the first time,but once I
"got it" I think they are funny!

Tomorrow night we have a Browns game,so I will try to post before then. If I don't I will post after it. It starts at 8pm so we won't get home until around 12am I'm thinking.

Sounds like you had a really bad storm Julie.....glad you came out ok.....and glad your foot is better.

We just took Linda to the airport...I love to have her come to visit but it is so sad when she leaves.....we are planning on seeing her at Patti's for Thanksgiving so will see her twice this year. I am glad Patti lives within a day's driving distance and Barb is in town. Rick lives really far away so we don't see him very often. We saw him in the spring and he had been planning on coming this summer until his wife fell and broke her hip and wrist. She is in a long drawn out process of healing. Her hip isn't healing as good as the doctors had hoped.

Guess I will start cleaning my sewing room today....it is the one room I haven't done anything with yet. Don't know how much I will get done as I didn't get much sleep last night and I woke up at 4.....and we have a scrapbook crop tonight from 5-ll at Archivers.

Julie- we are on for Sunday, I am waiting to find the times that they will be going through the locks, but I am SOOOOO ready!! Can't wait. That sounds like a really bad storm, hope Denine and Jerry's house is okay...that would be just horrible to come home to. Glad your foot is doing a little better. That is so cute about Makenzie, it's great that she is doing so good.

Barb- I have every other Friday off, so I have to work today. In July I had every Friday off due to everything with my grandpa and that kind of spoiled me, now it is really hard to go to work on Fridays!!!

Patty - I was able not to wet myself and get out of the office!!!! Barb is just hilarious, she is like Taura...you never know what funny thing she is going to say!!!!

Susan - you are right, I am in good hands with all my DIS family. Thanks for the email.

Sally - You need one of these like I needed one yesterday. I couldn't even imagine living in a different state let alone different city than my mom!!!!

Good Morning!!

I'm sitting here with bright red arms from a lavender scented lotion I bought at a craft show last year. I am determined to use it all up even though it makes me itch and very uncomfortable! Yeah Yeah Yeah probably not the best decision but I refuse to let a bottle of lotion tell me what to do! YOU"RE HISTORY LOTION, I AM GOING TO USE YOU ALL UP!!!!

Well finally made it to Friday. Man what a long week!

Dang Barb, can you say FRUGAL!!!!! Trash the lotion, it is making you miserable. (okay maybe I should take my own advice....I am using up some detergent that I bought that makes me break out in hives but I don't want to waste it!!!) glad to make you feel better knowing that I am working as well.

Okay so I think this is the worst 2 days ever for me!! Better yet, the worst summer ever for me. Just found out that we are on a personnel freeze effective yesterday. That means no filling vacancies, no announcements, no reassignments and no promotions until ATLEAST October 30th due to a Reclamation-wide Reorganization for Denver/Washington. My promotion should have been effective September 4th, once again I am getting screwed on this promotion. I was supose to have this promotion back in May but the regulations were misinterpretted and had to be 2 years from when I started which was September 8th. AHHHHHH when am I EVER gonna get this promotion, so close but yet so far away. They are just dangling it in front of me.

So now HR has nothing to do but play on the internet!!! It's going to be a very long 2 months!!!!

Okay I give up, I am going home.

My ex-boyfriend's dad just came down to tell me that his dad has been admitted to Hospice. He was in remission for cancer and the cancer came back and went into his brain. They give him 2 weeks if that to live. I know I haven't seen him in 3 years or have been apart of their lives that long but it still hurts. I got really close to Elmer within the 5 years that we were together. I wish there was something I could do for the family, but all I could was offer support to Randy and give him a hug. He said he wanted to keep me updated since I was apart of their lives for so long. I am so sad right now and it is still so close to what happened to my grandpa that it brings back too many memories.

Please keep the Brammer family in your thought and prayers.

Good morning, everyone. Hope everyone has a good weekend planned. We don't have much planned for the weekend except laundry, cleaning and just some realxing. I am miserable with a sinus infection and don't feel like doing a lot.

So this weekend, our cruisers will be going through the canal! I hope they have a fantastic trip through. I can't believe they have already been gone a week.

Just left Jeanne, Bonnie and JOyce sunbathing. Wanted to check in on Heidi. Thanks so much for all of you being there for me. Bless her heart, she is going through a lot right now.

It is cloudy but very nice weather today. Had a back stage tour today. Not too bad.

A cast member friend of ours sent Heidi a time schedule for tomorrow. Shoot, I didn't even get to see it. We are not camping out under thestars tonight that is for sure. He said to walk around on all floors and that is what we will do. He has some awesome shots from last time.

We are going through the locks at 9:30, 11:30 and 3:30 EST. Can't wait.

I am getting over a terrible case of food poisining from Acapulco and Kaleigh has a slight cold from not sleeping. Other than that, we are all good.

We have a back up sump pump for the basement, so we should be OK.
