October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Heidi, no I have it recorded but my granddaughters and Linda wanted to play cards so we did that. Linda has today and then leaves tomorrow...she isn't going to school but home and I will want to cry too. She has been here 3 weeks and we have had so much fun it is going to leave a big void in my life...Heidi, come down and stay with me..I will be your pretend mom until your real one gets home and you can tell on your sister to me.....

Jason ( Barb's son) is going to the Bronco game tomorrow night....he loves the Bronco's and Criss was able to get him tickets. Her boss has season tickets and he is on vacation so Jason gets his seats.....

I do have a crop from 5-ll tomorrow night to look forward too but will miss Linda not being there because I know how much she would enjoy it....

Next weekend will be Labor Day weekend and I am not ready for that....I love fall but hate to see summer end....

I know but you won't stay up until 2 in the morning.....only kidding...that I can do without....I am use to going to bed before midnight.

And you are scrapbooking more.....that and shopping is all I have done for 3 weeks....I can do without all the shopping too. I don't think I can possibly need anything for the next year.....so don't let me buy anything tonight at the crop. I am looking forward to that....haven't decided what to work on, have you?

Hummmmm 2:00 in the morning.......Yeah NO! Doesn't work for me.

I was confused when you said Jason would be going to the game tomorrow. Then when you mentioned crop tonight I realized you are off a day. Today is only Thursday. tomorrow is the crop and the game is in 2 days. See what happens when you stay up until 2:00!

I am bringing Ethan's and Tiffany's book. I have been working on both. Heck I may even bring some of Jaymee's senior year stuff that I have been working on for 3 years!

So Heidi, what did you think about the Brat Camp Finale? I wasn't really surprised about who has stayed on the right track and who hasn't were you? I won't say anymore since Mom hasn't seen it yet..........

Glad all the kids are happy in school, especially Turner starting middle school, that's a hard age. Julie, I cried EVERY year when school started and I lost my kids! I love the carefree summer with no pressure of bedtimes and homework. I'm for playing hide-n-seek and grey ghost after dark, and slumber parties...........I'm weird..... I know that

I knew the crop was tomorrow night but my fingers didn't......we were up until 2:30...at least I was....I went to bed but Linda stayed up....don't know what time she went to bed but I gave up staying up with her.....she sure is a night owl...

Your not weird Patti.....I loved when you kids were home in the summer...could never understand why mom's were so happy when school started....and now the summer vacation is even shorter....

We are not suppose to get rain today......it has rained a lot this month but the grass is sure green.....one of my neighbors said they saw a snake in their backyard.....we have lived here 39 years and never saw one.....sure hope the little bugger stays on her side of the street.....

Next week I have to get out in the yard again.....have neglected it for the last 3 weeks and now it will be time to clean up for winter....

Well now I know where I got it Mom.........do you remember how many nights we spent outside playing gray ghost and hide-n-seek with every kid in the neighborhood? The neighborhood we lived in when I had kids didn't have as many other kids so Ken and I had to play too (darn the luck!)

I want to go to a crop too! How long do I have to get there?

Well it is 7 l/2 hrs away....so if you let Julie drive you will have time for dinner....Ken, you will just make it. I like to think you would be late if you drove....

They are serving us dinner and a snack......so you can skip the dinner and shop....

Sally - get ready for me, I am moving in for the week!!!!! Adopt-a-daughter for a week sounds good to me

Patty - I loved playing at night in the neighborhood. We would play giggle pus and red rover. So much fun. Not sure if kids really do that anymore. I remember playing outside at night until the sun went down and the street lights came on!!!!

Ya the updates didn't really suprise me either, I suspected it too.

Pixie dust is needed. The doctor wants to move our friend into a nursing home (I think she is only in her 60's), not sure if I should let my parents know that or not...what do you guys suggest? Should I tell them or let them enjoy their cruise and not worry them because there is nothing they can do anyway?

What's my next step? Do I have to go find one for her?

Wow Heidi tuff call. What would your Mom do if you were on the cruise and she was here? I bet she wouldn't tell you until after you got back. She worried so much before she left maybe a few more days of relax time would help her deal when she gets back. There really isn't anything she can do until she gets back.

Just got done with a 3 hour training. Another refresher class on our HUGE billing system. Funny I don't feel refreshed!

Hi guys, no time to go back and read everything. Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Glad I did. Heidi, that is a big thing to worry about. I don't think I will tell your dad about it. I will just play it by ear. I was wondering why you didn't write me today.

Weather was bad this morning but sunny. The dudettes have disappeared today. Didn't show for the wine tasting party so just Denine and Jerry and us had a table for us. Was kind of dull if you ask me. Not very many people but a lot of wine.

Hurricane Hillary was a lot of fun. Heard that in Acapulco the weather was a direct result of tropical storm Jose. They said that it is sunny 300 days out the year. Of course we hit one of the 52 days! Cliff diving was fun.
