Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

One more performance behind us. Another challenging night tonight. I have to rush home from work put on makeup and put my costume on and leave. My puppies just watch me run in run out run in run out. I will have to spend some quality puppy time with them when this is all over.

Can't stay on long. I just weighed in and after being perfect on the diet, I went back up to exactly what I was last Friday. She is going to call the dietician. They will probably make me go off plan for two days. Waiting for her phone call. I told her that I don't think that is something my head will allow. I just can't eat like that and feel good about myself anymore. Hopefully they will map out meals for me. Yikes, I can see how easy I could turn into having an eating disorder!!

Heading to the dentist today, too.

Bonnie: Thanks for updating us on Julie's dad. It sounds like they things under control. I understand about weakness. That is why I won't buy a 1/2 gallon of the allowed ice cream. I don't trust myself with portion control.

Sue: WOW! Jerry needs a training class like yours! Love the quotes, they are so true.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a fun party. I enjoyed my Bailey's.

Kaleigh has been absolutely rotten today. I put her down for her nap 1/2 hour early. Nothing else was working. I know she is cutting at least 1 molar and I did give her Tylenol, but she was awful and I couldn't take her behavior anymore.

We are going to buy more paint tonight.

I work this weekend.

Me again. Jerry is taking care of Kaleigh so I can catch a break. She is a little better then pre-nap. Denies tooth pain.

We bought more paint. Kaleigh's bathroom and our bedroom. Now we have to start painting. Too bad you can't just put the can in the room at night and wake up to a newly painted room.

I just ordered some inserts for my shoes for the PF. I hope they work.

Hello to all that posted. Barb, that was some story about Maddie. She is such a strong person!

Somebody just told me that to train your body to keep weight off you have to eat normally until you gain 3 pounds then go back on a diet until you lose them, then eat normally again...etc. Yeah right! I can gain 3 pounds just looking at food I can't eat!!

Well...had do type up a complete inventory of what is being sent to a certain person, 2 of us had to witness the re=packing, like I have nothing better to do at work on payday!! This all because of a VM! It was worth it though.

So glad it is a weekend!!! And the aunts aren't coming for Easter so I don't have to cook and entertain!! YEA!

Nothing new here...hope USAir doesn't go belly up before Sept!!

First work called at 5:45 AM to see if I could work. I reminded them I am scheduled to work TONIGHT! Of course, the dogs are now awake & need to go out (even though they were just out at 3:00 AM) so I decided I should just stay up & take a nap this afternoon. Then my son's work starts calling at 7:00 AM for him The dogs went to the park but Jake just keeps jumping & barking at the sliding door at the squirrels so I closed the curtain.

BONNIE: No Aunts for Easter. I would invite you for dinner but I am scheduled to have Easter dinner at Virtua Health System

SANDY: I know why I am not losing. I NEED to increase my activity but I HATE exercising

DENINE: Kaleigh can't be bad. She's our little angel

Had a good morning at work and came home to waffles. Kaleigh is some better today. SHe is in the basement with Jerry coloring.

Sandy: Don't do anything drastic.

Bonnie: Glad you favorite employee is gone. You can give us the gory details sometime.

Jeanne: Don't you hate it when work does that to you? Have a good nap.

Well, it finally warms up enough to wash the cars, but it is sprinkling, and is supposed to rain the next few days. When it doesn't snow, it rains and vice versa. I really wish we could give you guys in Colorado some moisture!

That's all here...2 1/2 hours in the dentist chair and $1000....I better have a beautiful trouble free mouth!!

HI all! sorry for not posting lately. Been busy trying to keep things under control. Kids have been really good lately but miss seeing their grandma and papa lately. We have gone up to see my dad, but we don't stay long (about 10 mins).

Update on my dad: Like Bonnie said, kidneys are still weak and there is an infection in the leg. He has a pic line in his arm and is still on the water drug (begins with a "l") and is on IV antibiotics (sp). THe insurance company is giving the doctors a really hard time about him being in the hospital this long, but the doctors are fighting the company. They first told my father that he might go home on Thurs or Fri (march 17 or 18th) then they said maybe on Sat the 19th. WELL..... he is still in the hospital and he will be in there for awhile. The doctor told my father that they will discharge him and re-admit him on monday to another floor since the insurance company is giving them a hard time. This is now going on 3 weeks now. His leg is still draining. They didn't close it when they did the surgery since he was so bloated from all the fluids and with the pressure of the fluid building up, it had to go somewhere. He was really down today when we went to see him. He is going for PT 3 times a day, but goes through bandages like they were like water! IT is draining pretty good. I will be glad to see him get off this floor because I think that his bandages will get changed more often and they will keep better records of that. I really hope things start turning around for him. I feel bad for my mom. She goes to work (she teaches) and then goes straight to the hospital and then goes home and returns calls to everyone who has left a message on her answering machine. I try to help her out as much I as I can.

Denine, HEY! since Jerry got such a nice bonus............. there is no reason NOT to go for a few days in June. UNLESS you don't like us. LOL!

Susan and Sandy...... keep your eyes open for something coming to you in the mail.

Bonnie, first class???? WHOA!!!! Can I go???????? PLEEASSEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Barb, glad to hear that the Thorn is a big success!!! Sorry to hear about Patty, Sally and Missy. I'm sending them all pixie dust!!!

Jeanne, hope the doggies give you a little break! Between your work and the dogs, you don't have time for anymore activity!!

Oh yeah, Brooke just this evening started a fever. I THINK she is teething again since she had 2 real "watery" diapers within 5 mins of each other and she fusses when she eats at times. I'll be keeping my eye on her. Garry has been working the last 6 out of 7 days and is having back problems again. AND the Big Guy has a doctors appointment on monday morning with an orthopedic doctor for his feet. He is flat footed, but I have noticed his is rolling on his ankle when he walks and seems to be walking pigeon toed. I'm sure they can't do anything, but the rolling on the ankle thing bothers me. I hope they can do something for that. I really REALLY need clagon to take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julie: You sure have your hands full. Your dad will probably be on Lasix for a while, at least. It is good he has a picc line. They won't have to keep changing the IV catheter. The draining should help to get rid of some of the bacteria in his wound, as long as they change the dressing often enough. Sounds like you will be busy going to MD appointments.

Bonnie: WOW! First class. We have passed by there enough times.

Another nice day at work.

It is the first day of Spring and it is raining and 39. It is supposed to snow tonight.

Have been good all week and it has paid of...7.5 pound weight loss...of course this is week one so of course it is large. I will treat myself however...called Pam to go to Applebee's with me. They have WW meals so I can still count points. All I have had today is 2 eggs scrmbled so I have plenty of points to have possibly appetizer, meal AND dessert!! I can't wait!!! I have gotten into the mind set of dieting so I'm off and running.

The cruise...I changed staying places...I am now at HOJO's. Since I am arriving early on Wed I will have time to go to DL. I can walk there from HoJos. Got it for 80 something a night so not too bad. Went through mousesavers to get their discount...saved more than $10/night.

The dentist drilled sown one of my good teeth in preparation and now it is sensitive...oh great!

Just a quick post to share my sad news. I had to have Abby put to sleep. Her kidneys just couldn't take any more. I'll post again when I feel more upbeat. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for her the past fews weeks.

SUSAN: So sorry about Abby but just think of the wonderful life she has had with you . She will be waiting for you at the RAINBOW BRIDGE.

Worked last night 11 PM to 7 AM & had a great night for time & a half.

Booked our four airline tickets to Las Vegas. Flying Southwest for $168.40 which is the cheapest I could find but not too cheap when you are paying for FOUR. We are leaving 7/13/05 & returning 7/19/05.

BONNIE: Remember our OTHER First Class Flight after the hurricane!

Went out to lunch with some friends from High School & my girlfriend gave me her pictures (she is cleaning). I look like such a hippie!

Had a busy weekend. Saturday we spent a lot of my sister and BIL's $$$ shopping for baby stuff. It was a lot of fun but exhausting, I can't believe we spent all day just shopping (my dad and Rich were so good!!!) Then on Sunday they came over for yummy calzones!!! Friday, ya didn't do much but lay on the couch and watch TV!!!! I did finally get to watch the movie Ray. I thought it was pretty good.

Julie - You hang in there too before you have a mental breakdown on us!!! You and Susan have way too much going on right now, I wish I could take some of the stress off for you two.

Off to a busy day, I have a lot of scheduled meetings today.

Susan, hugs and kisses are sent your way. It is painful now but it will get better!

Heidi told you all about our weekend. It was fun but tiring. I didn't sleep well last night so I feel kind of icky. I get both kids today from 8-6 and then they are taking us out for dinner. Speaking of food, I went to have a thyroid blood test on Saturday, also. Looks like I gained another pound yesterday. Isn't it crazy?? I haven't done this before. It was a weekend full of food so I was somewhat careful but I have had other weekends like it before and not done this. I dread weigh in today because I will have both kids and LAWL will want to talk....and of course I have the kids on Wednesday weigh in this week as well.

Bonnie, first class???? Wow, how nice. It is absolutely wonderful flying first class. Just don't like the food. Too gourmet for me. I will probably cook for Easter. I keep putting it off but I think I will volunteer. Would love it if someone else would volunteer.

Jeanne, it is almost time for the wedding in Vegas. Is it July? I can't believe how much you have going this summer!

Julie, I really feel for you and your dad. I remember how hard it was last summer with Ted's dad. Running here, running there. No time to just breathe. Take care of yourself! Pixie dust to your dad. I remember when the doctors were in charge and not the insurance companies. Whatever happened to that? Good grief. They are actually seeing the patient and know what is best. Ok, I will get off my soapbox. Something in the mail?? Can't wait!!

Denine, let us know about your orthotics. Hope they work for you!! It took several different companies before we found the one that was right for me so don't get discouraged.

Happy Monday!!

Susan-I am so sorry to hear about Abby.

We made it through the first 4 showings of The Thorn and have 3 days off. I am ready for a break. I am going tanning after work home to make dinner and then plan on watching Stars Wars tonight.

The past 3 weekends we have had dinner parties. Last night we had a party for Missy's husband Mike. Tomorrow is his birthday so we had a barbecue yesterday. One good thing about having dinner parties every weekend is that my house sure is clean!
