Good morning all!!!! I have a very busy day today filled with meetings. I am starting to go a little crazy now, the summer is flying by and getting closer and closer to the cruise and Vegas. I have a lot of packing and shopping to do that needs to get done. This coming weekend I am helping my friend pack up her stuff, than in 2 weeks I will help her move, the weekend after that is Vegas and then the cruise a few weeks after that.

Good Morning!

Half way through my work week. Got up this morning and not a cloud in the sky! Not one. We are not suppose to get any more rain and the sky is certainly upholding the forecast. Sure was nice while it lasted.

I will email you Denine the "jump out at you, scare you to death" parts.

Still working on getting all Tiffany's financing together for college. BLAH! It sure takes a lot of time. She is suppose to be in Oklahoma Aug 12 hummm that is a month from today. Wow! My baby is going to college!!!!

Hey Heidi, Sandy, Denine, Jeanne and anyone else who is cruising soon, have you heard the rumor that they changed the Castaway Club/Repeat cruisers gift in the stateroom from the nice Beach Bag to Landyards and pins. Now I'm trying to find out if this true, but I have heard 2 stories about this situtation: 1. The bags are gone and everyone in the room gets a landyard and 2 pins with Mickey and Minnie on them. and 2. The bags are still there, one per stateroom and THEN everyone gets the landyards and pins.

I, for one, hope that they didn't get rid of the bag or gift per stateroom. I like the stateroom gifts. I like landyards but I'm the only one who uses it. AND I don't do the pin trading thing. SO I hope that the second story is the right one. We shall see!

Gotta go pick the Big Guy up!

Julie: If we don't get a car, we were going to take a limo, so it would be great to split it with you. Jerry is looking at staying at WDW those 2 nights instead of by the port. I don't know about Magical Express and Spirit since we rented a car in June. Haven't heard about the Castaway club gift rumor. I hope it isn't true.

Sally: Thanks for the heads up on the one jump out of your seat scary part. Kaleigh has seen a picture of Davy Jones with the Octopus head.

We may go see the movie tonight at the drive-in if the weather holds. Supposed to rain again and it looks stormy.

I put all the pictures and artwork in the frames we bought. Now to get them hung on walls.

I didn't lose any weight again this week.

I have an eye appt tomorrow afternoon to check my eye pressure so Jerry is working from home tomorrow and Friday since I work and then Hera has a vet appointment in the afternoon.

I need to go fill out all the forms on the DCL sight so they can be submitted online instead of at the port. Cool feature!

Barb: Still waiting for your e-mail on POTC2. College financial stuff, UGGHHH!!! What a nightmare!

Heidi: Jerry can feel for you. He is in that class again and can't get his regular work done. He hopes to accomplish something working at home the next 2 days.

Thanks Barb for your info. Knowing the scary parts in advance will help Kaleigh.

Denine, we were thinking about renting a car too, BUT we were going to leave it at "the world" and take some sort of service to the port. We figured it would be cheaper to do it that way then to rent a car and park at the port and pay for parking. I also thought about returning the car at the hotel at the port, BUT it seems like eveyrone is doing that and you know we all want to be at the port first thing and if I had to wait for a shuttle to get to the port I think I would loose my mind (well, what's left that is!)

I agree Julie, waiting for a shuttle at a hotel is not fun. I am one of those "be in line first" kind of people so if I don't make the first shuttle then I am totally restless and frustrated. Sorry that Makenzie had a bad night.

Denine, I can only think of one drive in theater in the whole Denver metro area. You are lucky to still have them around! Hang in there. The pounds will come off again. I keep hanging on to that thought as well.

We weren't suppose to get rain today either so I washed the Pathfinder, came home immediately and put it in the garage and then it started to sprinkle. Not sure if it will turn into anything. Headed out to the campground over the weekend. Heard we will be in the high 90's. Yuck. I much prefer colder weather. But good for Stacey so the babies can go swimming.

Have a good one everyone!

Good Evening!

Down on my computer working on ORU stuff. The website has been down most of the day. Sure is annoying :badpc: I have some more paperwork to get in and some financial aid stuff to work on. I hate being at a stand still.

Bob is outside tearing our bunny pen down. We had bunnies for about 10 years we lost the last one last year and with the kids getting older don't think we will replace them. I am going to put a vegetable garden in that spot next year.

Sure wishing it would rain again. Loved it while it lasted! They did lift the "no camp fires" ban we always have. Now we can have a campfire while we are camping in a couple of weeks.

Well going for an evening walk then probably off to bed. Tomorrow is my Friday and I have a another full weekend.

Did I miss something Barb....tomorrow is Thursday..

Didn't do much today...cut the lawn, went out to lunch, cleaned house and got dinner. Then we watched :happytv:
So you think you can dance....it is getting hard to decide who should go...they are all good dancers.

It is almost midnight so guess I will go to bed

Nope you didn't miss anything, tomorrow is MY Friday. Meaning it is the end of my work week. How come you are up so late?

Just popping in before work this morning to see if ORU's website is up. That would be a NO! BLAH!

Happy Bithday Missy.

Barb - I wish today was my Friday....but it's not!!!!

Julie - I really hope the new Castaway gift is NOT lanyards and pins. A Diser on our cruise is making us lanyards already and I am not into the pins. Maybe they will have something special for us since this will be the first time the Wonder is going to the ports.

Sally - I love So you think you can dance. I come in to it late because part of my kickboxing fills up the time, but I rush home to watch the end!!

What is landyards?

I like the program too Heidi.....it is amazing how fast they learn new dances in 3 days....

Going to Farmers Market....

Lanyards - are like cloth necklaces that hang around your neck and attach to a clear plastic puch were you can put your Key to the World Card in and stuff like drivers license.

I am getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated. ORU financial website and the schools website are both down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't do anything until I can get into them. :furious:

Anyone watching Big Brother?

Julie, I forgot to add yesterday that I hope we don't get the lanyards and pins. Nothing of interest for me!

Sandy, of course we are....addicted to it....and I do know what lanyards are...I have several.

Just got back from the Farmers market...went for tomatoes and ended up getting yellow squash, mexican squash, green peppers, tomatoes, fresh basil and something else, forget what. I am going to do stuffed peppers for dinner.

We went to Home Depot first and I got 30 more brick to finish my flower bed in back. That leaves one more bed to do which will take about l00 more brick. I have to go back and get wood chips later but my friend got l0 bags so the van was loaded down.

Think I will have blt sandwiches for lunch...the tomatoes are so good but of course Ohio has the best home grown tomatoes in the world aren't they Denine!

Ok, so I have fellow Big Brother watchers. Anyone watching the new talent show with Regis? Not sure of the name. We are enjoying it. Oh and Treasure Hunt has our interest as well.

I just got rid of the kids and was kicking back and realized that I forgot to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISSY!

Sandy, it is America's got talent or something like that. But I don't think the talent is all that good.

Don't you hate to see the dancers go? It is going to get worse and I really don't have a favorite, they are all so good.

Never heard of Treasure Hunt...when is that on?
