Tomorrow we leave for New Mexico for my nephew's wedding . Checked the weather and it is going to be over 100 everyday . BLAH!!!! Another outside wedding too. here is me minus the mad face

SANDY: The babies are SOOOOO beautiful! They almost look like they could have been taken on the cruise!

It was great getting an update from Julie. Gosh, I just don't know how I will do in Sept if it is HOT. Guess we have to get those misters Heidi! I found some big ones at Walmart for 4.96 that hang on your neck. That would be hot. Wonder if we could attach a clip to it for our belt clips.

Jeanne, sending MORE pixie dust your way. I am glad that Ted and I were never in a union. It is way to scary for me. What kind of a job would you look for? Home care? Or would it have to be out of the nursing field?

Barb, I can't send pics like that either. I know one simple way and that is it. Attaching isn't even in my vocabulary.

Stacey, I went to Kiddie Kandids today. The girl that helped me was WONDERFUL!!!!!! I told her I really like the one with the dark background but because it was off centered I didn't want it. She FIXED it and now I have a 5x7 and wallets of it. Man, I just wanted everything. I wanted to mix and match it. Don't ever let me go there alone again!!

I want to go to kiddie kandids too to get a 5x7 of the tropical picture, but am very afraid to even step foot into that place!!!!

Wow was it ever hot yesterday, we broke a record for the earliest it's been hot in CO History. It was 100 degrees, thank god today is cooler at 86 as we have been sitting in the 90's for the last few weeks. There was a fire that broke out between where my sister lives and where my parents live, luckily it is contained. I can't wait to sit at the pool all day on Saturday to cool off!!!

Kaleigh has another cold. She came down with it yesterday and man is she ever cranky!

Talked to Julie yesterday. They were at MGM for the day and were headed back in the evening for Fantasmic.

Jeanne: I take it you don't get strike pay. Of course I don't know anything about it. We don't have nursing unions here.

Hera is this close to losing her very happy home. Our bedroom door was only open for a little while since Jerry came home and he just found that she peed on our bed. Now, I have to wash the whole bed before I can go to bed tonight and it is almost 7:30 PM and I have to get up 4:30 for work. I am going to talk to the vet at her next appointment. It is almost like she waits for an opportunity and then strikes. I am ready to kill her!

Kaleigh had a fever most of the day and refused to take Tylenol for me. Then she peed the bed at nap time. This is not my day!

I did order one of the pictures from photo pass of the 3 of us in front of the castle at dusk. It looks really nice. Can't wait to get it.

Jerry has to go to his mom's Saturday morning because his dad's headstone is ready and she wants another set of eyes to look at it with her. Just one more thing to do this weekend.

Sandy: I had lost 2-3 pounds between trips, but I didn't weigh myself this week. But, even at that, I am still up 8 pounds. I NEED to lose all of my weight by October.

Maybe she should start watching all these wedding shows constantly and he will get the hint. Or when she is at the mall stop in at the jewellery store and point out which ring she wants. How long have they been together? Have they even talked about getting married? When I went down to the campground over Memorial Day I heard a lot the question of "when are you getting married" and I just respond that Chris and I are perfectly happy where we are right now.

Denine - Sorry you had such a bad day yesterday. Hopefully today will be better for you.

Heidi's ideas are good. I think a couple more would be for her to get some bridal magazines and lay them around. She could also go around saying "when we get married".
Like Heidi said, he might just be happy where they are. If they have been dating for awhile, he might just not be ready to get married. It is definitely something you can't push on anyone. LOL

I talked to Julie yesterday for a long time. It was fun.

Headed out of here for the weekend. Going camping. Stepdad called and wants me to call him back. Now what??

I have already given my friend those suggestions. Her boyfriend wants to get married, he has even said they should register at Home Depot. He just says it will be soon. They have been together a long time, 10 years.

Well, I am CPR re-certified. The class wasn't too bad. It was taught by a former resident's son. He has done this several times before. His mom was a very sweet lady.

I canceled our plans for tomrrow night. It was just too much. Going to try for another day.

At least Kaleigh is feeling some better. She was so upset this morning. She had messed her diaper pretty badly in the night. She hasn't done that in a LONG time. Jerry thought he was going to have to give her a bath. Her nose is still running a lot, but she is not as cranky.
