October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Good morning.....It is -l degree at 6:23. We didn't go to bed until after l and I woke up at 5:30. I laid there trying to go back to sleep and the door bell rang about 6 and it was Dick home from the hospital. He said he had two events where he stopped breathing but otherwise did good. He is now and on his computer. Criss wants to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast but she won't be up for a couple hours.

Barb if you read this and want to go, let me know. I got another late Valentine from Barb.....a gift certificate to Picture This so I spent it yesterday.... gift certificates!!!

Mom-What time are you going to Cracker Barrel? I know the kids won't be up for a while. Jaymee spent the day skiing yesterday and was not home at midnight so I know she is beat. Tiffany was out with her friends and was not home by curfew. Note to self....GROUND TIFFANY! Missy does not usually get up until late. Grrrrrrrrrr

I am missing Bob. I have to prepare for Missionettes for tonight and am going to do some scrapbooking. Oh and "Disney Fairytale Weddings" is on at 2:00. I love that show!!

Barb & Sally: It sounds like you had fun scrapbooking. Haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a long time and we have one about 10 minutes from here. I just keep forgetting about it.

Sally: Sounds like Dick may have sleep apnea. When will you find out from the doctor?

Well, my back pain has localized to the right side of my fusion with pain down my right leg. I screwed something up.

Kaleigh has been feeling so miserable. She woke up coughing and crying at 6:30 AM. Major runny nose too.

We drove the Ford yesterday. It wasn't too bad. Not my Rendezvous though! The funny thing is, Jerry turned on the radio and country music came blaring out, typical.

Jerry pretty much got the federal taxes done. He just needs to review them and send them in.

Had lunch with Barb, Jaymee, Criss and Dick at Golden Corral....Dick picked the place...what a surprise he wanted to go there

Then we went to Walmart, took Dick home and was going to the movie. Couldn't find a parking place for the 2:30 movie at the Dollar theater so we went to Archivers so Criss could get her free paper and then to Fatburger for a shake. Stopped at Michaels and back for the 4:40 movie. Came home and scrapbooked until l0:30. So that took care of my day.

It is now almost midnight so I am going to bed.....just thought since would post and so you got stuck listening to my day

Oh, Denine I don't know when he is going to hear about his test. I see where you were having the same tempture we were this morning. It is l8 now so it is warming up a little....hope you get to feeling better

Good Morning,

I feel horrible today. I have a headache and I'm really tired. One of my contacts is so blurry so I just took it out. It is ripped sure explains why I have not been able to see!

Sally: Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday.

Kaleigh was up at 7 this morning, but at least she wasn't crying. She is feeling better, but still has a stuffy nose and nasty cough.

My back still hurts. Will see what the doc has to say tomorrow.

It is 20 outside but supposed to warm up to 31. At least it is sunny.

Barb: Too bad about your contact. I gave up wearing them years ago, my eyes were too dry.

Denine- Sorry about your back. Hope it feels better soon. I go to the chiropractor today, I think it will help my headache.

Heidi must be working today. Wonder where Sandy is??

I am guessing that Heidi is off today since it is President's Day.

Sandy is probably either recuperating from cleaning out houses (not outhouses) or off with Heidi spending her money.

Trying to make plans with friends to go to a Magic Kingdom tour and then lunch for May.

Is it naptime yet?

Heidi has today off and she is actually spending time with us today
Don't know where my mom is...haven't heard from her in awhile.

Heidi actually spent her money over the weekend but she can tell you all about it!! We are excited for her though!!!

Good Morning Stacy! Good to hear from you. Can't wait to hear what Heidi did!

How are the babies? Ethan (my 9 month Grandbaby) is so dang cute I can hardly stand it. He say Mama now....I am still working on the "Nana" thing and has 8 teeth. He is pulling himself up and letting go to balance himself. I am totally in love with him!!!

Denine-What kind of tour are you taking? Do you take a lot of them? I have never taken a tour before but would like to. What months is the "International Flower Festival" in Epcot usually?

I guess you all figured out I worked all weekend since I was MIA. This really wasn't my weekend to work (long story). I had to do the usual (after working two days) so food shopping, wash, clean, etc. etc. etc. I am now RELAXING on the computer.



I need a grandbaby!

DENINE: I hope your back feels better. I have a herniated disc at L4 & L5 and a congenital fusion but thank God has been feeling okay. The orthopedic Dr. said that as you get older and osteoporosis sets in the spinal column can start to compress the discs.

Never has tried the e-bay store myself but if I ever want to sell anything on e-bay I know I would not be able to do that stuff myself .

It is still cold here too but we are going to start warming up this week HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY! Toodles JEANNE

Has anyone ever been to a tea party or had one? I am planning a Mother/Daughter tea party for my Missionettes and am looking for some fun ideas. I have decided to do the theme in "Victorian Ladies" and have the girls dress up in hats, gloves and fancy dresses. I remember when my girls were little they LOVED dressing up. We had a big box of dress up clother that I would buy at the Goodwill.

All the people out West are still snug in their beds at this early hour but I just got back from walking the doggies and the coffee is on

There is really nothing exciting happening here but I had to say "Good Morning". The warm up is SUPPOSED to start today . We shall see.

Not all are in bed Jeanne ....I have been up since 5 but not drinking my husband does that. I have been trying to learn to like coffee since I read that one cup a day was good for you. I am now up to half a cup if I have cookies to dunk but somehow I don't think that is what it meant

Went to a scrapbook stamping class with Barb last night...I have so many stamps I decided I need to learn how to use them in the albums. If doing things together is a good bonding time, Barb and I should be stuck together for life

It is only l7 right now....I am sitting here in my pink fuzzy robe all toasty and warm I need to do laundry today...one of my favorite things..NOT
Don't mind the washing it is the putting away I could do without.

Good morning all!!!! I had a very busy but productive time off. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 day weekend!!!! Denine was right, I had Monday off due to Presidents Day. This is our last holiday until Memorial Day, thankfully I get every other friday off!!!!

Barb - I hope you are feeling better. Your comment about being a regular like me made me laugh!!!!!!!!

Jeanne - How is the weather out there?

Denine - we are so similar, I have a bad curse of falling down the stairs too. I hate it but it happens so much that we just laugh at it and expect it. Hope you are feeling better.

Friday I did my big grocery shopping day with my mom, Saturday went shopping with Chris for new bedroom furniture and a suit for him, we found a suit for him and get to pick it up tonight. Sunday we invited ourselves to my mom and dad's usual brunch spot and continued to look for bedroom furniture and found one that we liked, showed my mom and dad it and bought it and a new mattress. Very expensive weekend, but it gets delivered today!!!! I had a lot of fun spending Monday with my sister and the twins. I am like Barb and just can't get enough of them!!!! They have the best personalities.

This weekend because it was SOOOOOOOO COOOOLLLLLDDDDD, my hot water pipe froze in the kitchen, thankfully it thawed out on Sunday and the pipes didn't bust. 2nd time I was lucky, but this time I did leave my cabinets and cold water dripping....but of course the hot water froze then!!!! Can't leave that running, that costs too much $$$!!!!! I can't believe on friday and saturday that it stayed mostly in below 0 temperatures!!!!!!! I sure hope it will be warm in Dallas when we go!!!!
