Barb - when are you going to Castle Rock? I am going skiing on saturday so I can't make it then, but on Sunday...hmmm.

I went to Target last night to buy a bed skirt, washed it up and it was was strings of thread everywhere on that stupid thing. I guess that's what I get for trying to go cheap!!!

Chris just called me to let me know that his direct supervisor gave him a $100 American Express gift card for all the confusion/disappointment situation regarding Dallas. Come to find out they cancelled my airline ticket which happened to be non-refundable/non-transferable and in my name so Coke had to pay a $100 cancellation fee and I know have a $260 credit to use at American Airlines for any flight within a year. Hmmm, should I use that towards FL in September, or should I use that to go to Vegas and use the time-share vacation for a place to stay and then we would only have to pay for entertainment and food!!!!! Coke totally screwed up!!! Instead of allowing us to go in the first place that would cost them $360/guest, they are now paying $460/guest...makes sense to me. Looks like we made out in the end!!!!!

We were going to see if I could use the $$ and fly out there like planned, but my wonderful boyfriend was very nice and considerate and changed his plans to fly home a day early because he "didn't want to be out there alone, without me." All of the people changed their plans to come home early and now airfare to get out there the same time is $460. I think I will stick with FL or Vegas, I just couldn't see spending $100 of my own $$ plus Cokes $$ to stay one night in a fancy hotel!!!!!

We did get some good news yeterday; Jerry got a very nice bonus at work so now we can pay off our last loan and be debt free except for the house

My back was killing me at work this morning. It still hurts a lot, but not as bad since I took a nap. No news yet. I hate waiting.

Nothing else going on except that our friend got lunch ressies at The Plaza restaurant for after our tour.

Happy Friday everyone.

I finally found an electric blanket for pretty cheap this morning. Overstock.com finally had more in stock and for a King it was $70.00 (that included shipping). Sorry mom that you ran all over the place looking for one for me, and that you have to return the one you found for me, but this blanket is $50.00 cheaper than the one you found. With that $50.00 I could almost go buy another sheet set!!!!!! Thanks for all your hard work though (can you tell I feel bad???!!!).

WOW! Where is everyone today?

I got the same e-mails from Julie, but haven't heard from her.

Still no news on my x-rays. I am probably waiting until my Tuesday appt now.

Made it through work somehow. The medicine the doc gave me just isn't working.

My parents came over for a little bit on their way somewhere else. They dropped off the taxes. We got my dad in and out of the house without too much problem. Julie knows what we went through at Kaleigh's bday party.

We go to Judy's surprise 40th birthday party tomorrow. She and I are going to be the walking wounded; she is on crutches for her knee.

I am a walking disaster area. I am catching Kaleigh's crud, my throat has been a bit scratchy since during the night with a slight cough, I have a kanker sore from the stress of my back hurting and of course, my back hurts. What else can go wrong? I feel like drinking the whole bottle of wine myself!

Also, Jerry is saying that if my back isn't better by May, we aren't going. I keep saying that we are in spite of everything, that I will rent a scooter if I have too. He says that if I can't walk we aren't going. Why are some people so stuborn?

Heidi: Sounds like you are going to be snug in your new bed!

I found out that my brother and SIL are indeed miffed at me for not changing our vacation plans to go to my nephews 1st communion. I told my mom they have only come to 1 of Kaleigh's birthday parties and also missed her adoption party and didn't come to the calling hours for Jerry's dad. This will be the 1st time in 13 years that we have missed something of theirs.

I will try to get on in the morning, but I will probably be the last one to post tonight and the first one tomorrow.

Ok, Ok, I'm posting!! Sorry to be MIA lately. It's a three ring circus around here, nothing out of the ordinarary. I had a "field trip" to t he post office with Garry and his preschool class. Boy, I'm really surprised that we get ANYTHING we mail seeing the post office. Big Garry has been ill since monday. His back ( that is where he feels most of the pain when he is sick ever since his accident) has been killing him, but he went to work monday and tuesday. Wednesday he was sooooooo sick he stayed home but he went to work on Thursday. 8 hours is bad enough when you are sick, but 10 hour days..... YUCK!!! Got Anna Marie tonight and had to take Makenzie to Brownies tonight. Just got back from picking Makenzie up from Brownies and now taking a short breather before I get Garry's and mine dinner.

Sandy and Sally, boy I was flustered on Thursday when Surivior, Dancing with the Stars and American Idol on at the same time. I DVR-ed dancing and Surivior, and watched the results show of AI on another tv. SO, who do we like on American Idol? I have a few...... Ace (sang George Michael), the guy who is taking care of his girlfriend's kids, and I also like the white haired guy alittle. The girls........ I LOVED the last girl on Tuesday. The one who's mother is a voice teacher. Don't forget that the Apprentice and Amazing Race start next week too!

ANYONE IN FOR THE AMAZING RACE... picking teams....... seeing who team wins...... ANYONE????? I will do teams again if you all want.

Heidi, I can't wait to see the pictures of your bedroom set. I love new furniture too! I just went and bought new sheet sets for our king bed. BOY are they expensive if you don't get them on sale. Luckily I did get them on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Barb, been thinking about you!! Hope everything is going well.

Jeanne, glad to see you posting! your posts always make me smile! Hearing about the dogs...... sounds like you have your hands full! LOL!

Denine, well, if you cancel May you can always go in June!! THEN you COULD go to your nephew's 1st communion and be in Disney with us! LOL! I know, just kidding. I know that changing the ressies and airline tickets would be a pain and cost more. Shula's anyone??????????????? That was a good NO great steak!!!!

"Menopause the Musical" was such fun and so was the bus trip. We started the night with five of us going to dinner, then went to get the bus and we were greeted with Cosmos, tiaras & leis to wear to the musical. What a fun bunch of girls The play was terrific. I laughed so much my face still hurt the next day!

Work was awful yesterday so it required going to Los Amigos for Margaritas. Today I am off but have to work tomorrow (Sunday). What a crazy schedule

JULIE: I remember those days.

DENINE: I really hope you feel better.

HEIDI: Sounds like you got a real bargain. I shop Overstock.com all the time especially if I have a hard to find item and don't feel like shopping around.

Yeah! Julie posted. Sorry to hear Garry is sick, hope he feels better soon. I could go for a good time at Shula's, but just the steak and no extras!

Jeanne: I guess we all have bad days at work now an then. You don't seem to have too many, but it was a good excuse for some margaritas! Sounds like you had a lot of fun at the musical.

I found out the medicine Kaleigh got for her gum/tooth problem works very well on kanker sores. I took some codeine cough syrup this morning, mostly for the codeine, however much is in it, but I do have a bit of a cough. Jerry won't let me do anything today. I tried putting clothes away and he wouldn't let me. He and Kaleigh just went to BJ's, but I couldn't go because he didn't want me walking around. I told him I am not an invalid and he said he doesn't want me to become one. He doesn't understand that I can't let my back beat me.

Looking forward to getting out and having some fun and Kaleigh will have someone her age to play with.

Nothing else going on. It is sunny, but windy today.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Jaymee and I went tanning this morning and to the store. I finished the stocking I made for Ethan, it is really cute. I am working on 3 afghans right now. Think I will spend the day scrapbooking.

Wow, and I think I am busy. All of you have so much to do.

Denine, Jerry sounds just like Ted. I am like YOU. I won't let something get the best of me. Ted and I "argued" last night about me getting new shoes today. They cost 120.00 and I hate to buy them. My back has been killing me and my feet began to yesterday so he was insistent that I go buy them. I just hate paying the price for tennis shoes but in all honesty, I will be much better in a couple of days. Maybe, you could use some better shoes. Sorry about your brother. They seem to forget that you are always there for them!

Julie, you should think about getting some "good" shoes as well. I am in for Amazing Race. You might just as well put Ted in, too. I like everyone you like on American Idol. Yahoo, I am ready for more Reality shoes to start. Isn't that terrible?

Barb, THREE afghans? Wow!

Jeanne, no socks yet for me. How many for you? Well, Ted and I have to give up Armadillo brunch this weekend so we went there yesterday. I would have had a margarita if I knew you went to Los Amigos!

A pipe froze in Ted's dads garage so we have to go up there to meet the plumber tomorrow. This afternoon we are meeting with the log house people for our preliminary plans and then running to Lou's house to open more boxes. I was so excited today. I typically don't go to a garage sale except in the summer but decided to go to one today. I found a 5' or 6' table for 5.00. We need tables to display everything for the estate sale. It is getting so frustrating because there is so much to sell and no place to put things. It has gotten to the point that we find every excuse NOT to go work over there now. I know that I don't like to dig in boxes when I go to a sale.

Ted and Heidi are skiing and I went to my favorite fast food for a crunchy fish burrito. Yummy! I better run. I am doing laundry as well.

Had a fun day....my granddaughter and I went to Castle Rock to the scrapbook store, ate, shopped a little and came home and went to Archivers to replace some things she bought the other night that she left a Fatburgers and it wasn't turned in. Got a milkshake and are now going to watch ice skating.....

Barb: You are so busy with projects. I don't kow how you keep them all straight. I would just love to get back tom y needlework.

Sally: You are another one with a million projects. I would love to see your scrapbooking room. It probably looks like a store with all the stuff you have.

We had a good time at Judy's party. She had no idea. Kaleigh did have fun playing with Lexie, but it took a long time for Lexie to warm up. Poor Kaleigh was trying so hard to get Lexie to play.

Julie: when are we getting together?

Today is a quiet day. Tomorrow is back to the same grind and Tuesday afternoon I found out something about my back.

Good morning.....we didn't go to bed until after 2....we scrapbooked, watch the skating and at l2:45 decided we were hungry and went to Wendy's. Of course we just got diet food

We are suppose to have really nice weather this week....in the 50's ,60's and they said even could hit the 70's......

I got my funky sox yesterday at Castle Rock...at least I think it is what we are suppose to get...butterflies on them.

Going to scrapbook today as I am trying to finish Patti's album before she comes next Friday....

Yes Denine, it does look like a store because I use to sell Creative Memories and I still have some stock left plus the stuff I buy and buy and buy I have shelves, hutch, counter, bookcase and two tables in there.

We are supposed to be cold again all week. Send us those nice temps!

Not looking forward to Jerry going to work tomorrow and dealing with Kaleigh by myself. My back just hurts and I caught Kaleigh's cough. The anti-inflammatory med is NOT working. I just want something to take the pain away, plus I want to know why it hurts in the first place.

Did I tell you that we got our ressies for May 6th? We are flying down that afteroon becasue it was a lot cheaper than Sunday morning, but our ressies for OKW aren't until the 7th. We are staying at Pop Century for the night. Got a passholder rate of $74. I am sooo ready for this trip!
