Julie: That sounds like a good idea to get together and have a mini party. I have a gift for the Big Guy. Can't wait to se the finished house. We will paint our office this winter. We have had the paint for almost a year. I think we will get JErry's mom to come over and watch Kaleigh while we paint.

Barb: That is a dilema. I'll have to think on it.

Jerry brought me home an azalea plant for the fireplace and Malley's Chocolate covered strawberries (yummmmm!).

No sweats here.

Hoping to watch Casablanca tonight. Otherwise it is the olympics. We started watching it the other night, but didn't get far into the movie.

It is bath time for Kaleigh because she is going to be in an hour. She did not sleep at nap time.

Oh, I am excited. I just found out that a friend of mine is going to be in WDW for a few days when we are. We have to get together. She lives in NJ and we cruise together once several years ago. We haven't seen each other since. Hopefully it will work out. We always seem to miss each other. We got off the cruise Sept 3rd and she got on the DVC member cruise Sept 4th and we couldn't connect.

 Happy Valentines Day everyone......got a nice surprise this morning when the DHL truck came and brought me a dozen long stem red roses in a box....never have gotten a box of flowers like in the movies before...and a teddy bear was there too. They were from my daughter that lives in Texas....they are beautiful. :cool1:

Not much going on...had my grandaughter here for 4 days...she had sinus surgery Thursday and did really well...not even a black eye.

Dick is taking the dogs out walking with his oxygen....quite a sight, man pushing oxygen and walking two doxys... :rotfl:

He goes in Sat for his sleep study and catscan on Thurs.

Have fun this evening everyone....

Thought I would check in. It is about 11:30 at night and I can't sleep. Only a few hours until Bob leaves. I have to hold it together tomorrow because I have to work all day. I am dreading having to leave for work in the morning. I can't cry because it ruins my contacts.

Julie-I don't have a secret Santa gift either.

Heidi- I will check on yours.

Barb: :grouphug:

It was a nice Valentine's Day indeed! ;) The wine was good the cheese and bread were good, Casablanca and the fireplace was good and the company was good.

Unfortunately, the creeping crud of 2006 has finally got to Kaleigh. She was coughing more this morning, a kinda loose cough. She doesn't act sick or have a fever, but I did give her cough medicine.

Hopefully the rest of the snow will melt today.

Sally: I have never received flowers like that either. How nice. Pixie dust to Dick! :wizard:

Hang in there Barb. :grouphug: I have been thinking about you this morning, wondering how you are doing.

Sally - what a nice suprise you got....that was very sweet of her to do that.

Denine - uh oh, be prepared to get sick. I hope Kaleigh feels better.

I had a great Valentine's Day too. Yesterday morning I put a rose and a card on Chris's work van before he left for work to suprise him. On Tuesday's he has breakfast at his favorite place so I put some cash in the card and said since I can't be with you to buy you breakfast, here is some money to have breakfast on me. He said he was very suprised when he saw it, he first thought he got a ticket for parking on the street when he saw it!!!!! Then I took him to one of his favorite restaurants which is Outback and made chocolate covered strawberries and bought his favorite ice cream for dessert.

I was not expecting anything from because he is saving his money up to fix his car, but I came home to a card and heart balloons tied to a heart candle sitting on the coffee table and then walked to the kitchen to put my stuff away to find a HUGE flower arrangement on the counter. It was very nice of him.

I have to go spend 8 hours in defensive driving training at work, it is a requirement that every Reclamation employee take the training.....yuck.

Good Morning

Here at work trying to hold it together. I am fine as long as people don't
talk to me. I am staying to myself in my little pod.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful support. I know with the kids, you guys and my parents I will be ok. Bob and I do so much together and he takes care of so many things I don't have to even think about it will make it harder. This morning our furnace went out. Can you believe it! He wasn't even gone yet. usually the first thing happens right after he leaves. Well I got a crash course on how to flip and flip and flip the switch until the blower comes on. Bob said well if that doesn't work you can call your Dad. I told him I would call the furnace repair guy and tell him to hook up an air conditioner while he is at it.

Well just received an email from Bob. Don't think I will be able to read it for a while.

Hope everyone is doing great.

I am still alive!!! Things are really busy...I can't imagine with the twins learning to crawl!! Oh well! Lots of fun!
Valentine's Day was fun for my us. I surprised my husband by making a Valentine from the babies and I also made him a cd. I also surprised him in his lunch with heart shape rice krispie treats. I also made a nice dinner for the two of us.. Fettucine Alfredo from Epcot.
He came home with two beautiful bouquets of flowers: one for me and one for Joey, our daughter (her's had sparkes! :lovestruc )

It sounds like everyone had a nice Valentines day.

Heidi: What do you mean I am going to get sick? I have had a cold and scratchy throat before that for a week.

Stacey: Good luck with the crawling!

Kaleigh has been sooo demanding lately. It is driving me nuts, especially since I haven't been feeling well. Sometimes it would be nice to have family close by to just drop her off for a while.

Can't stay to talk. Ted just walked in the door. I will address everyone later but had to say something to Stacey. Your post reduced me to tears. That was so sweet of Richard!

Just saying hi again. Jerry is giving me a break in Kaleigh duty.

Well I am starting to feel the emptyness of Bob not being here. Most of my day was pretty normal. He was here this morning so had my usual hug and kiss and warned him he better not show sad eyes :guilty: or I would never make it. He emailed me from work before he left. He was on the plane all day while I worked. I avoided co workers that were trying to show support because every time some asked how I was doing I started crying. After work I always call Bob and we talk all the way home. I was able to talk to him because he is either in Canada or NY near Niagra Falls. He will be calling tonight, it will be the last time I talk to him until May. Tomorrow he will be in New Finland then Friday in Romania then Saturday in Cottar. Now I am home and he should be here. I will stop whinning about this I promise the first couple of weeks is the hardest. :hourglass

My gosh, Barb. It isn't called whining!! You love Bob and you are having a hard time. You can talk and talk some more about it with us.

Julie, you make me so tired. It used to be Susan with all her activities and now it is you. Always on the run.

Sounds like everyone had a nice Valentines Day.

Sally, a box of roses. How cool is that? It is just like in the movies like you said. I have never received a box of roses either.

Heidi, I didn't realize that Chris did all that for you. How sweet!

Denine, it seems like Kaleigh was just sick and now she has the crud again. Sorry!

Ted and I went out to Armadillos tonight. He came home early to do taxes and I forgot to buy the program. Oops! So we had to get out in the cold anyway so why not eat out, right?

Better run. Hugs to all.

Julie, I forgot to add that I did get my secret santa gift. I knew Barb probably wasn't getting one so I sent her a "Secret Valentine" gift that I told her to go ahead and open. Thankfully she got it on Valentines Day. Hopefully it will help her get through Bob's absence.

Sounds like you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

BARB: Hang in there. You can always talk to us :grouphug:

I have this vision of Dick walking two dogs with his oxygen. I know how hard it is for me to walk two dogs. Your dogs must be way more well-behaved. I am enjoying Jake (the Jack Russell). He has really become a very good boy. I am glad he came to our house.

I spent Valentine's Day at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey, but had two really good days at work. :thumbsup2 Yesterday I had to go to work AGAIN for competencies day. :crazy2:

No honey on Valentine's Day but my son brought me home flowers & my mother gave me a HSC bracelet with XOXOXO's on it. They all got cards & candy.

Next Thursday I am going on a bus trip to see "Menopause the Musical" which should be really fun since it is a busload of middle-aged women.

Hope you all have a great Thursday. Will check in later. Tomorrow off to the eye Dr. :cool2: Have a great day. Right now I am having my morining coffee :coffee:. I already read the paper :coffee:. Toodles pixiedust: JEANNE

Barb - Don't you ever think that you are whining too much to us....we are here for you, talk to us and get it all out....I know it help me. I have no idea, not even a clue how hard it has to be for you. When I leave Chris for a week, I miss his mso much and cry!!!! Come here and tell us how you are feeling, we will help you through these months.

Jeanne - the musical sounds like a lot of fun!!!!

Denine - ya I know that you were sick, I just meant that you might continue to pass it through your family over and over and over again!!!!!!

Sally, how is the weather down your way? It is a very cold day and a little snow activity. The ground is blanketed and it is beautiful. The lady I babysit for is late and her husband keeps calling me....is she there yet? Bless his heart. I have to drive in it today to mail a package and to and from preschool.

Barb, thinking of you. How is the furnace doing? I imagine you have the cold too.

Enjoyed American Idol last night. I usually have a favorite by now but not so far. BUT I do like the guy that is married to an older woman and takes care of her daughter. Such a sweet story.

Jeanne, sounds like you had a nice Valentines Day as well. I think your bus trip will turn out hysterical especially with you on it.

Hugs to all.

Hey, I need some advice. As you know our friend passed away and left us her house. We are going through her stuff every weekend. We found some China from Japan and really didn't think much about it. I just did some research on it and it is selling online for a dinner plate for 14.95 a piece. We have an 8 piece setting. How or where do you think we could sell it? I just don't think we could get much for it at the estate (garage sale) and I don't want to just "give" it away either. I don't like the pattern so I don't want to keep it. It is a green ivy pattern. If you want to check it out it is Aladdin fine china, May Fair pattern. It is so hard to know the worth of anything. We found a glass pitcher that I thought was just a simple glass pitcher and Ted just ran across some paperwork on it and it was worth 359.00 when she bought it in 1991. I have never done e bay and not sure that I would want to ship stuff like that anyway. Help!!! Any suggestions?

Sandy, we didn't get much snow....enough to cover the ground but it is really cold...l6... Can't wait for our March snows....now those can be snows! Good thing about them is you know they won't last long. It is so pretty out..the sun is shining :sunny:

Jeanne, Jack Russell dogs are so smart. I saw one once and he was staked in the front yard. His owner came out with another Jack Russell and was doing something in the yard and let go of the other dogs leash. She ran out onto the sidewalk and the other dog ran out and put the leash in his mouth and was pulling and tugging to get her back into the yard. It was so cute to watch :rotfl:

Sandy don't they have a lot of good singer this time.......which one is the one you like? Don't remember him.....

I worked on the cruise album last night....Barb, Criss and I are going to an all day crop on Saturday so I am going to work on the Disney album....then I can say Barb where did I take this picture?

Then Monday night I am hostess for a scrapbook club and have to take snacks.....it is a club where we are going to learn how to use stamps in our albums....should be fun. Heaven knows I have enough stamps :thumbsup2

Well, Kaleigh is no worse today, she still has the cough.

Barb: I can't begin to imagine how hard this must be for you. Each day that passes is one closer to Bob coming home.

Sandy: I wish I had an answer for you. I have purcahsed stuff on ebay, but never sold anything. Could you maybe advertise the stuff in your paper? Jerry bought the tax software but hasn't started the taxes yet.

We need to have that wine chat secret santa gift opening very soon!

Yesterday I was feeling very not cut out to be a mom. I ended up crying last night. I feel so inept sometimes and it hasn't helped all the stress we have been under lately an then everyone sick. Some people make it look so easy. I know we just need a vacation, but that won't be until May. It also doesn't help that it is winter and I don't do well in the winter with all the clouds. Sorry about whining. I know Julie thinks I am nuts because I only have one child and she has three. I could never do what she does.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a nice Valentine's anyway. Your bus trip sounds great. I am sure you will have a blast.

I work tomorrow.
