I will give in Heidi. I know Bonnie likes it. Ok everyone. Remember that Bonnie brings out the fun in life. We sure did have FUN! Just for your info.....Bonnie looks gorgeous (as always) and then there is me. They are bathing caps, swim caps whatever you called them in your days. Some of you probably never HAD to wear them.

It finally snowed here, a little more than an inch!!!!! It was slick outsides, I slid through one intersection and it was red, luckily it was before 6:00am so it wasn't very busy.

Who watched Survivor last night?

My mom and I went to Build-a-bear last night to make a monkey, we had a lot of fun!!!! Here is Cosmo, our cruising monkey:

Home from work today. Love Fridays! We only got a dusting of snow. Dang! Was hoping for more.

Pretty much finished the little thingy's that I am putting on Ethan's Christmas stocking. Now I just need to get the stocking cut out and put together.

Barb, remember the thread that I started about pineapple juice and cranberry juice? You posted once or twice and said something about we never talk about alcohol over here? Well, anyway five of us really bonded and named ourselves the funkey monkeys. Cosmo will be a world wide traveler and go on everyones cruises with them. He will be a surprise to someone cruising the end of Feb and then she is to mail Cosmo to the next cruiser. Heidi and I should get him in Sept.

I don't think my body knows what it is doing. I woke up with sinus pain, but it keeps coming and going along with a stuffy nose. I woke up at 2:30 AM because my throat was bugging me and I couldn't go back to sleep and then the alarm went off at 4:30 AM.

Sandy: How old is you recipe? Something has changed in the ingredients over the years. my mom used to make snickerdoodles. I am sure I have a good Amish recipe for them if you are interested.

We had a nice time at Jerry's mom's and Kaleigh enjoyed playing with her cousins.

I work tomorrow morning again and then I am off until next Friday.

Hi Denine, my recipe is about 30 years old. The one I tried yesterday was older BUT remember I used to make my recipe years ago when the girls were little and they turned out different. Some where along the way an ingredient has changed in some way or blame it on global warming. Really, it doesn't make any sense. Great idea about getting Cosmo autographed!!

Good morning everyone! Looks like it is going to be a sunny day. I heard that NJ is going to get slammed with a storm. Stay safe Jeanne.

Ted and Heidi are skiing and I am being a bum. Think I will write Bonnie and ask for a recipe she was telling us about. It was romaine lettuce, mandarin oranges, almonds and some sort of dressing.

We are headed to the Louise's house after they get back from skiing and will spend the night. Work all day and come back home after dinner tomorrow. I went online last night for a recipe for pork tenderloin to make tonight. It is marinating in crushed pineapple, pineapple juice, dry mustard, garlic, soy sauce and ginger. It sounds so yummy. You can either bake it or throw it on the grill.

Better get ready for lunch. I am headed to Del Taco for my favorite lunch there. It is a fish taco. I can't seem to get enough of those! Has Co Spgs gotten Del Taco yet?

Good Morning

Back from Curves and going to shampoo my bedroom carpet then head out to run errands.

Fish taco's sounds so icky. I bet they taste great but "Fish" and "Taco's" just does not sound like they should be friends.

We to see Firewall last night. It was pretty good. I really wanted to see somethink lighter like Pink Panther but Bob had his heart set on Firewall. With him leaving in a few days it is all about Bob right now.

I am caught back up on wrapping presents for Christmas. I had a few that I ordered online waiting. Wrapped them up this morning when I was wrapping Bob's Valentine gift.

Yea, Barb posted. I felt lonely so I kept checking and no one posted. Barb, you made my day. Come on, you have to give fish tacos a try. All they are at Del Taco is fish sticks, cabbage, mayo, pico de gallo wrapped in white corn tortillas. Be a sport and try one. We could call them fish sandwiches for you!

Sandy: Good luck cleaning. The pork recipe sounds good.

I am done with work until Friday. Maybe Jerry and I can get well by then. My creeping crud has turned into a slight cold. I didn't sleep last night because Jerry was snoring and leg jerking all night. His legs usually only jerk when he is falling asleep, but not last night. I went back to bed almost as soon as I got home from work.

No plans for this weekend. Going to open a bottle of wine and watch the olympics tonight. Went to Heinen's last night ( an upscale grocery store). They have a nice selection of wines and there was one advertised in their flyer that I wanted to try. It was $10 off per bottle, so I got two and a few others. I would like to go to Trader Joe's to get a few more bottles of wine they have advertised for a good price that look good.

My friend Judy is not going to be happy with me. We cancelled on them last weekend because of the weather and made plans to get together on the 25th. Well, her DH informs me that he planned a surprise 40th birthday party for her that evening. So, I have to call her with an excuse as to why we can't make it that evening and then show up at 3:30 PM. Of course, all she knows is that I am cancelling again. Judy and I made the plans before John got to me with the party plans.

Sandy is right! We had and are still having a snowstorm but it is one of those really beautiful snowstorms. The snow is really heavy and hanging on all the trees and bushes but, of course, that means trees are falling and electric lines are coming down! I lucked out because I didn't have to work this weekend. We had our holiday party on Friday and it was really fun.

I love the Cosmos idea. I think he should have been smaller because he could never fit in MY suitcase.

I feel like I live in Colorado this morning with all this snow. They are saying we got "a foot" of snow.

Walking the dogs was a challenge this morning especially when the Maximum Pinscher got out of this collar & started chasing a snowplow. He stopped but he must weight 50 lbs. so I couldn't even carry him home. The Jack Russell is just crazy and is a spastic walker - he goes back & forth, pulls/stops.

I just think it is hilarious. The northeast gets snow up to a foot and it makes the national papers. We got a foot of snow this past week and it didn't even make the local paper.

Jeanne: Puppies just love to play in the snow!

I officially have a cold. I hope it only stays at a cold.

Took the doggies to the park (I love four-wheel drive) to play in the snow. The Jack Russell (Jake) was a crazy man but the poor maximum pinscher (Buddy) could barely make it through the snow. I thought he was going to have a heart attack!

I think the only reason it makes national news is that 60% of the flights from Philadelphia were cancelled and airports all up and down the East Coast were snowed in.

Good morning.

Skiing was great, had a lot of fun but once again it was cold and windy. I had to buy new goggles before I went skiing this last weekend because I broke mine last time and I was wearing my sisters back from when we started to ski. I love my new goggles, well worth the $50 spent. My dad's face was freezing and I kept telling him to put on his goggles because they would protect his face from the wind but he wouldn't do it because it has a yellow lens which would intensify the sun and plus his googles are cracked and have been for awhile. So I am going to go to Garts Sport and pick him up some nice goggles and replace it in his ski coat pocket. I can't wait to see his face when he pulls out the new goggles. I need my mom to come with me so she can help me decide which ones to get for him.

Jeanne - Jealous of your snow!!!! Sable use to love snow, but now she turned into a wimp and we have to beg her to go outside in the snow!!
