October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

I haven't even thought about fall decorations yet, not until October 1st. I want summer to last as long as possible. Then the decorations will go up and we will go pumpkin hunting and I will buy apple cider.

I have a potential babysitter coming over at 3 PM. She seemed fine on the phone. We really want to go out for our anniversary alone next month.

Ophelia didn't come close to Sue. She may have gotten some rain, if anything.

With all the things Julie has on her plate right now, I am not surprised she hasn't posted.

Jerry's mom isn't coming to Kaleigh's party. She doesn't want to leave his dad alone that long. I told her to call the home health care agency to see if they have someone that can watch him. She still won't come, I am sure.
She won't go out to dinner. Says she would feel guilty leaving Jerry's dad at home. Told her that caregivers need a break or they get sick and burned out. Still won't go.

I am still looking at cameras. Don't know when we will have the money to purchase one. Have one more set of pictures to get and then I can start on my album. Was hoping to have it done by Saturday, but I don't know.

I like my fall things out in Sept as we have cool days and warm days...sometimes even hot like today. They had pumpkins in Walmart for $2.98 which is a lot cheaper than we paid but it was fun hunting them...

I took slides in to Walmart this morning and they said it could be a week before they were ready.....well they just called and said they were done and we haven't been home very long so back to Walmart we go.....

Is anyone out there? Kinda quiet yesterday!!!!! Today, Tomorrow and Friday is moving day at work so that we can get new carpet......that means I can wear jeans!!!!

2 of my actions were approved so I can now recruit for a Civil Rights Specialist and an Office Automation Clerk....FINALLY I have work!!!!

My mom is at the campground today, she spent the night last night.

What did you think of the finale of Big Brother last night? It was a little heated!!!

GOing over to Jerry's parents tonight. Jerry has to put up his mom's curtains. If she won't go out to eat, we are going to order from Olive Garden and bring it over. Also going to stop at the bakery and give them a plate from Kaleigh's party so they can copy the design onto her cake.

We have a babysitter! She seemed really good, so we are going to go out on the 8th and the 22nd of October. Can't wait!

Heidi: at least you won't be bored for now.

Sally: I like fall, just not until October. I did get 2 Yankee candles with fall scents. I got a coupon in the mail to buy 1 22oz jar and get one free. Couldn't pass up that deal!

Jerry is going to take a day off next week so we can go down to Amish.

Denine - I am glad you are bringing your MIL something to eat. I love Olive Garden, they have the best salad. I use to say the best breadsticks but their breadsticks have gone down in quality and the breadsticks at Fazoli's are much better!!! Going to the Amish sounds like so much fun, wish we could do it here.

Hi guys,

Oh, oh, I am back. Just realized that I left one window cracked at the trailer and it is 45 minutes away. Think I will just pray it doesn't rain. Yea right. It is thundering now as I type.

We are having mega problems with the computer since DSL so Heidi's wonderful friend is coming over here Friday to try and help us. Cross your fingers. Because he is a humble man, he won't take anything for helping so does anyone have any suggestions what to get as a gift card or something. They have to watch their pennies so I really want to do something for his kindness.

Great news Denine about a babysitter. Happy you found one!

I am in the middle of typing up some stuff and thought I would take a second to post. I have been so busy this week I have not had even a second.

Heidi-Are we still on for Saturday?? I need to get some warm jammies for Ethan. He is outgrowing all his baby shower stuff.

Tonight is the season premier of Lost. I am meeting Missy after work and running some errands then picking up salad and breadsticks from Olive Garden and a pizza then home. Missy is coming over because Mike is working. Tiffany, Jaymee and her friend Mike and Bob and I will all be in front of the TV tonight. Can't wait!!

Barb, you have become quite the TV junkie. Never knew you had it in you. Can I come over for dinner. You are having my favorite Olive Garden salad. Mmmmmm. I just realized where I want to go for my birthday. Thanks! I can't go shopping this weekend. It ended up a perfect weekend to wash and wax the trailer because of the spot we are in. We have to move it by Sunday so we have to take advantage of it when we can. Sorry.

Barb, got your pm and I want to stress that it is NOT personal. My life is very chaotic right now and if we can get one chore done then we are doing good. Last camping weekend was a work weekend as well. Ted did the roof to the trailer and Heidi and I did the inside. This weekend it will be the sides to wash and wax. The fifth wheel is 36' long. Then on Sunday we have to run up to Ted's dads house for a family meeting to see where we are at in the estate matters. After that we have to run to the nursing home for our friend. We are taking care of her needs as well. I know things will get better after she gets home and Ted's dads estate is settled. WE WILL GO SHOPPING SOON! Love you!

Hey all.
Work, work work. Meeting w/ HR tomorrow to figure out what to do w. psycho nurse. It will be interesting. Another work at home nurse that used to be under me has decided she wants to come back in...I have said for the past year she shouldn't be at home...she needs the people contact. Oh the trials and tribulations. My boss says w/ should take the "Specials" out of our title since it seems to attract "Special" people.

I love fall...I just wish it would come in the way of weather!!!

My mom comes home soon from Boston...I better find out when since I have to pick her up at the airport...DUH!

Denine, do you know if we got a certificate of authenticity with our big litho on the cruise? We took ours to be framed last night and left the big envelope with them. Michaels was having a big sale so we took advantage for that one plus the Panama Canal certificate and we bought one onboard and had it autographed by Ducky.

Sandy: I don't think it came with a certificate. Boy, I'd love to get mine framed, but no time right now. We are constantly running.

Have to go grocery shopping tonight, I need the food for Kaleigh's party on Saturday which Jerry's mom is not coming to. They got a name of someone that would sit with Jerry's dad, but it is $15 and hour.

I really need to get my pictures organized, but have been too tired. Need to go to BJ's tomorrow for the rest of the party food, plus I work in the morning.

They are saying gas could go to $5 a gallon by next week. That means Amish is out and Jerry may work from home to save on gas.

Hoping the rain stays away so I can grill out dinner. I already have the turkey marinating.

Never got the plate to the bakery, it was already closed.

Olive Garden take out is pretty good. I only ate 1/2 my pasta and all my salad. Will probably give the rest of the pasta to Kaleigh for lunches.

I can't think of anything else right now.

Denine, thanks for answering my question regarding the certificate. I sure hope we didn't get one. You do have a lot on your plate just like us. Don't you wonder if it will ever end?? We HAD to make time for the framing because they were having a terrific sale and it was to end on Saturday. One custom framing was 50% off, 2 was 60% and 3 was 70% off. We framed our litho, the PC certificate and one we bought in Treasures Ketch. Saved lots. We were only going to do the litho but when we figured it all together it was about the same as just doing the litho.

Sally, Barb, PLEASE tell me it didn't rain down there yesterday. PLEASE!!!! I worried about the trailer the whole day. My computer completely locked up yesterday so I wasn't able to post the question in the afternoon. Thank goodness Heidi's friend is coming in an hour. We couldn't even get it to boot up at all from afternoon through the evening. Crossed my fingers this morning and got lucky. Now I have to keep playing on it for the hour so it doesn't sleep.

Sally, is Blake faking it on Survivor? First I said no but then we wondered about him having strength for the games. Bobby John is sick I believe because he is having trouble competing.

Hi Sally, I first was feeling very sorry for Blake then I got to wondering. BUT....why would you do that if they vote off the weakest link? Stay tuned! I am watching Donald Trump apprentice but not Martha's. I was so happy that the girl was fired last night. She drove me nuts. I bet you will end up liking your hair short. I used to wear it cut around my ears and short. I miss it but everyone likes me with longer hair. Even my hairdresser refuses to cut it that way anymore. My hair is driving me nuts but I can't decide what to do. It isn't so bad here in CO but in FL and cruising. Amazing that hair can be 100% different in humidity.

Tried to get onto the DIS last night, but I guess it went down for work or something.

Made 2 batches of lasagna yesterday, man, does my fridge smell yummy!

I think that everything but last minute stuff is done for the party, 1-1/2 hours. I need to put the lasagna in the oven and make the salad and put out the food and get dressed and get Kaleigh dressed when she is up from her nap.

The cake came out sooo cute with TInkerbell on it!

Sandy: Michael's usually has those sales more than once in a year, at least the 50% off sale.

We hung up creape paper streamers on the outside of kaleigh's doorframe. SHe will be excited when the door opens and she sees it.

At least tomorrow, my mind will not be all consumed with this party!

Well...I did it. Went back to WW. I want to lose 50# by the next cruise. I am such a piglet right now. I can do it though. I just need the crutch of someone weighing me each week. I don't like to be embarassed by not losing.
Beautiful day today...rode around shopping in Pam's convertible...I want one!
Talbot's sale. I really limited myself due to WW but I need work clothes desparately!
Sandy Terrific sale on the frames! I wish I had known about it. The sale is probably over now. Gee...not such a bad picture in the port hole. At least the you know whats didn't appear to be low in that picture! (didn't want to get bleeped again!)

Denine-I meant to tell you the other day that I think Julie is very lucky to have you as a friend living so close. I was thinking that on the cruise when we (you & Jerry dragged us early to bed people) to the lounge for the Martini's. Just had to tell you that.

We haven't heard from Jeanne...I wonder how her aunt is doing. I think I will call tomorrow.
