Love the picture with Sandy, Minnie and Ted!
Bonnie: I agree with you that people don't look into hospice soon enough. He wants no part of a hospital, so why would he even agree to surgery? I think he has made his choice. His family doctor has already said he can't do anymore. He sees the cardiologist tomorrow, providing Jerry can get him out of the house. The biggest thing is, the doctors don't want to tell him he is dying. They just ship him off to someone else. Maybe, when Scott takes his dad to the CLinic on the 3rd, the vascular guy will say something. One doctor already did when he was in the hospital for hs leg. He did it very brashly by saying he wouldn't die in 2 weeks, but probably by 6 weeks. Another suggested hospice for pain control, and said it wasn't just for dying people anymore. Last I knew, they still required 6 months or less to live and we deal with a lot of hospices.
Sandy: I agree that Jerry's mom needs to get out for an evening. I have suggested to Jerry more than once that we need to take her to dinner. His dad will be all right by himself for awhile.
I am making a double batch of lasagna, so I have some to give Jerry's mom after the party. The problem is, she doesn't even feel like heating up the food she has in the freezer. Potato chips are easier.
Jerry's mom wants to get together with Scott and Jerry and most likely me, since I have a medical understanding to talk about stuff. She doesn't want the kids around, so that makes it hard for us. Scott's wife could stay home with their kids, she doesn't know anymore than Scott about this stuff.
On a happy note, I ordered Kaleigh's cake today. It is always a surprise to actually see the cake the bakery has come up with. I am having Tinkerbell put on it. She said they could copy the picture from the plate, but I have to get it to them and they are in Parma Heights. Not very close anymore, right Julie?
Just trying to get a bunch of stuff done today. My sheets are done in the dryer, so that is the last I need to do. We will probably go grocery shopping tonight.
Sally: Go ahead, invite the Mexicans!
Barb: That must be awful to listen to all those stories!
I work the next 2 days. Need to pick up even more time the next month to pay the cruise bill! At least I get my retroactive raise pay in the next paycheck! It is retroactive to February. My review was a little late. One year, I am going to be back to February! I told Jerry that at least we didn't spend $850 on pictures like one person did.
We got our first batch back and dropped off more film. It is fun seeing everything.
