I am so mad right now I can't even see straight. I am up for my promotion that would have been effective May 15th, my boss signed it off and said that the promotion was well deserved. Well when it went to the "acting" Director to sign off on the action she said that Reclamation is no longer doing Accelerated promotions and that the regulations have already been in place and changed. If my old boss was here there was no way this kinda thing would have happened, but the power happy newbie decided to change the policy. She said "it's not only happening to you, but to atleast 5 others and possibly more." It's hard to explain so basically due to this new policy I was illegallly appointed to the GS-09 level and that it happened 4 months early, so now they have to make corrections to that 4 months and BILL me the difference between the 2 pay grades...I asked my boss if she had forgotten about me buying a house and not being able to pay 4 months back but she told me not to worry that they will waive the billing due to policy changing. There are some things I would love to say to her and about her, but it is not DIS appropriate. It doesn't mean that I won't get my promotion ever, it just means it has been delayed for 4 months....and of course I had my hopes up because my boss signed it so now I am extremely dissapointed. I don't want to wait 4 months because I had my hopes that I would get it this month.

Now I just don't even want to finish work out this week, I Am so irritated and mad right now, thankfully I have Friday off.

Oh my gosh, I just read Barb's post. How sad, now I feel bad about venting about a stupid promotion when all the tragedies are happeing around us. The poor families.

The sod they put in yesterday is the saddest looking sod I have ever seen. I hope we can get it to look like something.



Kaleigh is feeling better. She is still warm, but at least better.

Talked to Faith, Michael and Kristy today. They still haven't heard from Disney regarding a suite in April of 2007 on DCL. Guess that means that they are still thinking about DCL and not just Hawaii. Happy Birthday to Michael!

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been gone for a while but I have been working very long hours and I am just too tired when I get home to do much of anything. Bonnie did email me at work Tuesday evening while I was still there and I sent her a note back that I was working late and to let you all know I was thinking about you. Looks like she is missing from posting too!

I am running late this morning so I don't have time to post6 much. Just know I love you all and miss you. I sure wish I could read the posts and post from work!!

Still angry this morning about the promotion situation, and my boss gives me more upper level duties that I don't want to do because it's unfair, I'm not getting paid the correct amount to do the work, but I will do it anyway because thats who I am.

Thank goodness this is my Friday!!! Have a lot of stuff to do tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday morning for my sisters baby shower.

Heidi, I think I have your blue punch solved!!!! Hawaiian Punch sells a BLUE PUNCH!!!!!!! I think it should be sold at most grocery stores. You can experiment with adding 7 up or ginger ale to "adult it up" if you want to. You wouldn't have to make anything!!!!!!!! What could be simpler?????

Well, gotta go just had to post the blue punch idea! Hope it can help!!! And Heidi, you have every right to be mad about your job!!

I agree that there is too much sadness in the country right now. Off to see a Nurse's Day Video at 12 noon with Joyce & Yolanda & then they have give-aways, massages, etc. We are staying until 4:00 PM so we can go to Los Amigos for dinner. Kaleigh is still not feeling well. She fell asleep on the floor last night and woke up with her head hurting again. SHe just wanted tyo snuggle. She fell asleep on me for an hour before we put her to bed. Had a restless night. Still had a temp this morning and not eating or drinking much.

It is cold today, all of 47.

Heidi: Have fun with the baby shower. I'll be there in spirit.

Sue: Glad you stopped by. Hope work slows down a bit soon.

Barb: I don't like those kind of meetings. They always make me nervous. We have come close to Jerry losing his job too many times. Luckily he is out of danger right now because they need him too badly. He has more work than he can do by himself.

I work in the morning and then we go to my parents in the evening to give my mom her mom's day present.

Not sure if we would have to do it individually. If so, I will call all of you to tell you what day I got. We would like dinner too. Anyone want to join us there? Too boring with just the two of us. We are just not the "romantic" type people.

That way we would be by Albertsons and that King Soopers at Chatfield and Wads. We can run real fast, right?? I am running to Sam's Club after the kids. Need anything?

I hope my sister loves the rubber duckie theme. I like it and I think my mom likes it too. My present goes along with the theme, I am stringing all the clothes, cups, spoons, etc on the clothes line and putting it in a rubber ducky laundry bag (soooo cute) with Baby All detergent that has a duck on the label.

Heidi and I went grocery shopping for both of us today. We managed to spend a lot between the two of us.

OK---Here's what's going on with me. I owe, I owe...it's off to work I go!
I am scheduled for Lasik surgery on June 10th!
Now the other news...I have made a WDW addict of one of the other superviors in my region. I happened to say to her..."Gee, I was thinking of going to FL to see the ship off (using one of my airline bvouchers) but had nobody to share the room cost with. She said I'll go to WDW with you! (she otok her kids in Dec at my recommendation and is hooked!) So then she starts naming dates that she won't have the kids and getting all excited at the thought of going down...just adults...while I am thinking, cost of eyes, cost of cruise...but I do have free airfare. Well, It looks like I will be in WDW the beginning of June, just before the surgery!!! What the heck! As my mother says "spend the money on yourself, who else will you spend it on!" So! Fly down after work on the 3rd, retun on the 7th, stay at ASM. Gee, WDW without you all!! Hey Julie!!! When will you be there? Was it June or July?

Heidi Ann!!!! Keep working on your mom!!! Sounds like she's softening!!!!
