Darn it. I just tried to take the quizes and this stupid old computer wouldn't even get me to the page. Let's just say, I am Cinderella too. lol :wizard: princess:

Barb, yes, I do love you especially in time out!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sandy, now do you see what I had to put up with?

I got my flu shot today too and you are right....I didn't even feel the needle go in....and my arm doesn't hurt at all.

Carol and I spent the day at Archivers and one of my friend joined us. We didn't leave until 6:30 and went to the store to get in food for tomorrow in case we get snowed in.

Time for bed.....I don't understand how I can get so tired doing nothing but playing all day....

Welcome back Julie...

:furious: I am really mad! Every thing in this city is closed down for the storm but where I work! :furious:

I got up at 4:30 and there was hardly any snow outside. At 5:30 there was at least 4 inches. It is coming down fast. I am not going to work and will get dinged on my attendance. :furious:

Barb - I am sorry!! It picked up snowing here as well....At 5:00 there was just a dusting on the grass....driving into work at 5:45 you could hardly see to drive the snowflakes are so big. Thankfully I have 4-wheel drive.

I love this weather, if I was at home!!! Maybe my boss will let me take work home.

Julie sent pictures of the kids at Disney, but the Disney photopass puts a block on so that you can't save the pictures, I tried but it was really little.

Even though my attendance will suffer I am staying home. Got the Christmas decorations out and I am going to spend the day putting them up!

Barb - just think, you will have a 4 day weekend now!!!! I would love to get Christmas decorations out, but Chris would kill me if I did it this early, we haven't even carved our pumpkins yet!!!

I just found out that the weekend we are going to DL is supose to be record breaking attendance (over 250,000), they are extending park hours by 2 hours and added a 3rd showing of Fantasmic. Of course, the weekend we choose is going to be packed and on Friday, we may be denied entering into the parks. We may not even be able to Park hop because they say once you are in a park, stay in because you may not be able to get in to the other park.

I guess this is do to: 1) This is the first weekend for the Holiday decorations to be up, and 2) CA residents got a free park hopper pass in the mail and it expires that weekend 3) CA kids are out of school that week 4) Veteran's Day weekend

WOW what a wild day! Just got power back on. It was out for over an hour. The wind is really blowing and we are getting some really big drifts

I'm so sorry Barb but I think you are doing the right thing to stay home. My husband heard that Monument currently has around 14 inches of snow from my IL. How much do you have? I think I just got done shoveling around 6 inches of snow here...it is coming down fast now. My back is killing me and Richards told me "I told you not to shovel!" I just wanted to help since I am at home and the babies are napping. I told him he gets the next round!!

You all that are shoveling BE CAREFUL because this wet snow could really damage your backs.

Stace - get a heating pad for your back and STOP SHOVELING!!!!!

I agree with Stacey. The shoveling was nasty. It was so heavy. Ted told me not to shovel but I feel as a stay at home mom that I should do it. Stacey that doesn't make it right for your back however. Maybe you should rethink about shoveling.

Barb, isn't it crazy that most companies that close down and just a few are open. Never could figure that out. The last BIG snowstorm our dentist was out of state and his head office worker closed it down. He was soooo mad. Now think about it.....would you rather pay the personel to sit and wait and pray that someone shows up for their appointments or just close down for the safety and well being of the employees. Your call.

Sally, sounds like your visit is going just great. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate though. But at least you can get some scrapbooking done.

Bob has been shoveling our driveway and a path for the dogs to go outside in the back. Ethan Missy and Jaymee went out to play in the snow Ethan LOVED it.

I got 3 of my trees up. The 4th one goes in Tiffany's bedroom. I will work on that one later. I didn't get them decorated just up. But I am on my way to getting the house done.

Loved the storm but then I can stay inside......I did go outside and took pictures......we lost a lot of branches off our one pine tree in front and one off of another pine. In back it looked like we were going to lose several branches but this afternoon it warm up enough to melt the ton of snow on the trees. My birdfeeder fell over...my poor birds were all trying to eat from a feeder I have in the apple tree.

We scrapbooked and cooked all day....had fried chicken, dressing, scalloped corn and lemon pie...

The man across the street built a snowman almost as tall as the roof of his house....it was really cute. Our dogs went out as far as the sidewalk by the back patio.....

I forgot I had gotten a flu shot because I don't feel any soreness or anything...hope I got enough of the dose as some ran down my arm..

They called and our glasses are ready.....now I can see where there is dirt I miss cleaning. I would probably be better off thinking I am a good cleaner....

It is after ll so better get to bed. Night all :wave2:

Barb- I heard you got about 20 inches of snow...is that true?? We got about 10 inches here. We have a lot of down timber too. Richard and I learned our lesson the first year we bought our house...every snow storm we brush off our bushes and any trees we can reach. That first year in our house we had a really wet storm and almost destroyed all of our greenery. This was probably the first year that most of it came back during spring somewhat decent.

I also have all your invitations done!! Yeah!! I will mail them out next week!!

Mom- I am like you, I feel that since I stay at home the least I can do is shovel. It kills my back especially when it is wet like yesterday. Ibprofen is my best friend along with the heating pad thingy.

We had our first playdate yesterday with a neighbor. Her son is only 3 weeks older than Joey and Tyler. I think it went good! Tyler and her son would play together, then seperately for awhile, and then hook back up. Joey wasn't too into playing with them...she was having too much fun playing with stuffed animals and putting them into the baby swing. She also like the baby...she kept saying "baby". The baby would cry and both Joey and Tyler would be concerned...it was really cute. They are coming over to my house next week...I'm hoping that maybe we could do it on a weekly basis...I think it would be good for all of us.

Wow quiet board today. I am getting stir crazy it was fun staying inside all day. We decorated for Christmas I made chile, rice krispie treats to mail to Tiffany and missy made brownies. I am ready to be back out in the world. Once a little more snow melts we going to lunch then the mall.

It's a quiet board because Heidi and my mom are out shopping together so nobody is home except me!! I am just studying...getting ready to retake my test November 9th..hopefully I can pass it this time. I really want to but of course I really wanted to the first time also.
