Barb: I am sorry. I forgot to post about your poor dog yesterday. Glad they took the tube out. I hope she feels better soon. :pug: Your life neds to slow down or you will end up cold in the dark!

Food was good last night. I had lobster lasagna. It was the special. Went to the mall after. We were in Sears looking at bedding when the photographer asked if she could take some pictures of Kaleigh to show us their new features. We would get a free 8 x 10 if we did. So, we went. The pictures came out cute, they did Christmas ones. I took my free picture and left.

The leaves are pretty much gone here after the wind/rain storm this weekend.

Kaleigh's bed just came UPS. Have to hide it somewhere, because we need her to sleep in the pack n play on Saturday. After that, we can set it up.

Heidi: The drug testing doesn't sound very random.

Hi everyone,

Good to hear from Sally again but sorry to hear that you haven't slowed down at all.

Denine, can't wait for reports on the big girl bed. I bet she will be so excited! Lobster lasagna sounds so good. I had a lot of seafood pasta on the ship and don't think I disliked any of it. Glad you held your own and took the free picture. That is sometimes hard to do.

It would have been harder to not buy a picture if Kaleigh was wearing something a lot cuter, and cleaner!

How do you hide a toddler bed???!!!!

I love anything with seafood!!!

Heidi: Easy. It came in a box and has to be assembled. It is not very big. Remember, there is no mattress.

I had salmon for lunch thanks to the Gorton's Fisherman.

Hey Heidi, I am looking for new recipes for Thurs. Got any ideas? I want one for chorizo!!
I'll try and find some today.

I guess you figured out that I worked Monday & Tuesday. A very sad day yesterday. It was the funeral for one of the Nursery Nurse's 21 year old son who committed suicide by hanging himself. This is the fourth suicide this year - another worker had a son shoot himself, one Nurse had a husband kill himself & another young hospital worker in housekeeping killed himself. It is really a very sad epidemic.

BONNIE: The nursery nurse is Barb Kelly. You met her at the "Spring Fling".
Marguerite is the other one who lost a son. She is the Neonatologist secretary. Lisa Bakanowski, AP nurse, is the one who lost her husband.

I hope happier days are ahead. We want doggies :dog: :dog: healthy, hearts healed :lovestruc, kids potty-trained & everyone healthy! Hope you all have a great Wednesday. Miss you all :grouphug:. Toodles  JEANNE

Good Morning!

Stopped off to see Ethan after work yesterday did not get home until
8:00. He is so cute. Smiles all the time. :love2:

Jeanne-Sorry to hear about your sad day :grouphug:

Denine- You go girl! Passing up pictures is something I have not mastered yet. We take Ethan to Kiddie Kandids every month and I have to get every pose and several sizes! This month I am going to try and be stronger!

Sandy-What is Chorizo? Sounds yucky!

Heidi save yourself don't find the recipes! Don't do it girlfriend :teeth:

Jeanne - that is so sad, all those suicides in one year. I just don't understand it and why people make those choices.

Barb - Chorizo is like a sausage and it is SOOOOO good. If my mom wants to save herself she should know not to cook me Chorizo!!! ;)

Sandy, I just tried to call you....I have some questions about the LA diet....I got weighed in at Curves this morning and I gained this month.....I need help~ :guilty:

Jeanne: How terribly sad. It has become and epidemic where you are.

Barb: It isn't eays to pass up pictures!

chorizo: yuck!

We are so proud of Kaleigh. She has been doing so well with the potty for 1 week now. Her pull-up was dry all day yesterday. She even says she is getting closer to that big toy.

Voting was pretty cool yesterday with the touch screens. Very easy. We vote at the library, so we stayed after and let Kaleigh play and I got her some books and a couple of videos.

Nothing too interesting going on around here.

Spaghetti squash for dinner. I love winter squash!

OK, I have now lost 2 posts in a row!!!!!!!!!!! They were long posts too!!!!

Jeanne, so sorry to hear about all the sadness at your hospital. Hopfully next year will be better for everyone. I know this one was tough all around!! Big hugs to your :grouphug:

Barb, so sorry to hear about your doggie! I hope he start to feel better soon. It just ripes your heart out when our pets get hurt since they can't tell us what hurts. Give him a hug for me!

Sandy, thanks for posting a picture of the flowers. I was hoping that they would be just as good as the picture on their website!

Heidi, another drug test huh? :scratchin Is there something you want to tell us> :rotfl2:

Denine, I love your new picture under your name!! I've got to look for a new one too!!

Well, it is official! Garry gets sworn in Jan 1st as the new captain. It will be so weird to actually have some kind of normal life since he will be on days and all holidays off!!! There might even be a chance that he will be sent to Virgina to the FBI academy for 3 months for training. The new chief went when he became a captain and feels that it is a good for captains to go, so we shall see.

I do read the board each day, but lately I haven't had time to post. I'm doing my sring cleaning now. I have cleaned and re-arranged both Garry's and Makenzie/Brooke's rooms and cleaned the basement. I had to do the basement so when my new washer and dryer comes (hopefully beginning of next week) they will actually be able to get to the old ones! :rotfl2:

Garry is taking me to see Michael Flatley (the creator of River Dance and Lord of the Dance) and his new show Celtic Tiger. I love Irish dancing so I'm hoping that this one will be as good. My favorite is Lord of the Dance. We saw that in Disney several, several years ago and I fell in love with it then. This will be the first time that Garry doesn't have to work on my birthday and that we are actually going to do something for it.

Well gonna go! I'll be back and post again soon!! I do read the board so don't talk about me! Be back soon!!

TTFN

Julie: So happy for you guys! Congrats to Garry! Shouldn't it be called Fall cleaning now? I like Irish dancing too, but I have never seen any of the shows. VA for 3 months? Yikes!

Yep, 3 months. Garry said it's gonna feel like it did when he was in the academy down in Columbus. It's not a definite yet, but the new chief likes this for the new captains. Garry said he's not going to bring it up about going because he really doesn't want to go for 3 months, BUT if the new chief says he's going, he's going!!

Fall cleaning, spring cleaning..... whatever name it is. I think I should call it... BIG TRASH day!!! LOL!

Well I just talked to my mom and she is stuck at Kohls, her truck died again. She won't let me come get her  and she is waiting for my dad!!!! She is very bored, if he doesn't come soon I am just going to go get her.

Poor Sandy!!! I hope you can get your truck fixed! Did you get any good deals at Kohl's while you waited?
