Yep, I got it going and made it home safely. Traded the Suburban for the Bad Boy and then went on to Sam's Club. I was suppose to go up to my "step dad's" house to pick up a few more things. Oh well. there is always another day.

Jeanne, how horrible for everyone at work.

Barb, chorizo is not my favorite but dear old Heidi and Ted love it.

Julie, my brother went to the same FBI academy. He really, really liked it. I think this new position will be so good for you guys. Normal hours and holidays. How could it get any better? I love Michael Flatley, River Dance and Lord of Dance as well. Didn't get any good deals at Kohl's. I was bored silly. Normally, I could spend all day in Kohl's. Went over to Chick Fil A to fill in the time.

Sally, I won't be home much longer today but hopefully will be more tomorrow. I will try and call you or you can try tomorrow afternoon after 11:30 am. I will sure try and help you. I lost a pound over my mom's death and ate anything I wanted. I thought for sure I would have gained ten pounds. I found out that I am a stress eater that is for sure.

WooHoo today is my Friday, Veteran's Day tomorrow and it fell on my AWS day off so I am taking Monday for my AWS day off! (Oh sorry, AWS mean Alternate Work Schedule......the government and all their acronyms!!)

Good Morning!!

I am finally getting excited about Disney. I have been so stressed with stuff at home and work I have not had a moment to focus on fun stuff. I am buying our airline tickets on Tuesday. My Mom and Dad are going and my Dad is actually going to the parks. Only one maybe 2 of my kids are going which kind of makes me sad but I am so looking forward to a slower calmer trip with my parents.

Sandy-Glad the truck started. But if you had to be stuck somewhere I'm thinkin that Kolhs is a good place!

Heidi-I'll miss your post on Monday. You sure help keep this board alive. I am off tomorrow too.

Bob and I are getting the Christmas stuff out. I usually have it all up by the first of November but this year we have been slacking. I didn't even order Christmas cards until yesterday!! I didn't order as many this year because I may try and make some. Mom is going to teach me how to make cards.

Julie-I missed the post about Garry. Is he going to be gone for 3 months? Bob is leaving for 3 months in February. He will be somewhere near Iraq. We can help each other through it.

I love CO, it is such a beautiful day today!!! It is back in the 70's and I am back to wearing my capris pants!!!!!

Tonight is Survivor. My loving boyfriend who doesn't like reality shows is all excited to watch survivor tonight (I think he likes it because Survivor Thursdays is when my mom cooks for us.) Nothing better than mom's cooking!!!! We also have him watching Amazing Race and Apprentice and he reminds me when Nanny 911 is on!!!!! Ya right, he doesn't like reality shows, who is he trying to fool?

Jeanne, I went to Sams for milk and spent 57.00. I love that place. I also love the samples.

Looks like we will be heading for Disney either December 28 or 29th depending on the airline tickets. The prices seem to be better on Friday the 29th other then Thursday the 28th. Hummmmm go figure!

Barb, we did Disney about that time in 2002. It was very nice but they had unseasonably cold temps. If I were you, I would pack hats and gloves. Dear old Heidi splurged and bought all of us them at WDW. A little costly there that is for sure. We didn't let the weather spoil our time. Heck, with CO it was still a heat wave.

Happy Thursday!

Had a good day at work although I do have a resident that is actively dying. SHe has been on hospice for some time.

Jerry used to have Veteran's Day off, but it is now a floating holiday, so he doesn't take it anymore. I work tomorrow anyway. We will probably go to Amish on Monday.

Jeanne: We are always doint the "yes, yes, yes" thing. Kaleigh even says that "auntie Jeanne says that."

Julie: I guess 3 months for a normal life isn't too bad of a trade off. It will be hard though. I went through some of Kaleigh's toys in the basement yesterday and moved them to the unfinished side where she can't find them. She has really outgrown them and I know she is getting a bunch of toys for Christmas. They will be given away whenever we get to the Salvation Army store. That is the extent of my Fall cleaning!

Sandy: Too bad you didn't get any good deals at Kohl's while your car was dead! We always come out of BJ's with a $100 bill. Luckily, we only go about once a month now!

Heidi: ENjoy you long weekend!

I have still have never seen a reality show and don't care to see one.

Barb: Making Christmas cards? I am lucky just to address and send the ones I do! Take me to WDW with you! I really want to be immersed in all that Christmas atmosphere.

I gained my pound back this week. It was a long week and we were bad with the Halloween candy. I am sure the lobster lasagna didn't help, but it was so good!

Has anyone else gotten the e-mail from Darren asking to join some where are you now website? I have gotten several of them. I figure if he wants to keep up with us, he knows where we are.

Just a quick note to say hi!

I had a very nice birthday today. Garry took me to see Michael Flatley's Celtic Tiger. It was good, but Lord of the Dance is my favorite. I'll post more later about the show if you want. Some of the costumes would make some people blush!

Denine, got your pm, did you just quote me or was your response "oh well"? Or did I not read it right? So when are we getting together now??
