October 15, 2005 anyone?

I think there is a net at the family beach but not at the adult beach.

:earboy2: Lynnie Thanks for the site. Time :hourglass IS SOOOOOO DRAGGING!!!!!!!

:rolleyes1
I'm just sitting and waiting. :chat: I hope we all get together on Saturday

I tend to break cameras every couple of months - I got a Minolta Dimage z20 - it has a great zoom and quick shutter time. Its bigger than those small ones, because when i tried using them, I'm too shakey to hold such a tiny thing and my pics where coming out fuzzy. i've been practing with this one, and so far i love it. I will still bring my regular one, just because i know how i am.

:drinking: Sharks? Honestly, I saw some when I used to scuba dive and their more afraid of you than you are of them. I know there has been several attacks on the east coast, but from my experience, the seem pretty docile. :drinking:

I also just read this post.... :earseek:

QUOTE=Mickeygirlie]I just got off of the Wonder and in CC I was on a raft and I floated up to the beach and was talking with my husband who was sitting in a chair at the edge of the water. We turned around and there was a baby shark that was about 4-5 feet long, just swimming by. Let me tell you I was out of that water sooooo fast, we went back to the ship and sat by the pool!!! ::MickeyMo
I thought that CC had a net or something.......am I wrong?? Anyone!!
I understand that the ocean has all kind of sea life, but for some reason I have in my head that there is a net!! ...maybe I'm just dreaming!!
Last year we took more than 250 pics, which is a record for us.

I am so excited...only 19 more days 'til we cruise!

I have a digital camera, a laptop, and one week at Disney World and one on the cruise. I bet I take so many pictures that it takes weeks to go through!

I'm just curious! :flower: :flower:

How many others are doing WDW before the Cruise?

We are leaving on October 8th, and getting to WDW on October 9th. We are doing Epcot on Monday, MGM on Tuesday, Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, Animal Kingdom on Thursday and MNSSHP on Thursday night. Friday we are just going to the Port to chill by the pool and possibly do laundry. :)

Anyone else?

Im with Michelle - still havent heard from Coleen @ MouseEars - Hopefully this week since as of Saturday we will be at 14 days.....WOOOHOOO :cool1:

I can't believe its finally here - we have been booked since March 04 - we are actually talking about our next cruise, sometime in 2007 - I wish we could go every year, but its nice to have an awesome trip to look forward too.

Will broadcast tv episodes be available on the stateroom tv channels? I need my fix of Lost! I'll have the DVR set up to tape our favorite shows, but if I can catch them live, all the better.

We're making a brief visit before the cruise. We arrive on Thursday, and will go to MNSSHP on Thursday night. Friday will just be a "chill" day...We'll probably spend some time at Downtown Disney, and a bit of time at the pool. (We're staying at Saratoga Springs.) :earsboy:

Thanks everyone for the info........I feel much better!! :flower:
Guess we will be in the Family area where the net is!!!! :earboy2:

Hey Kathy...our plans are similar to yours. We travel east on Saturday, October 8th and hit our first park on Sunday (AK). We will add another 3 more days at WDW and 1 at Universal Studios. Since we are staying off site, my touring plan will find us in a park the day after they have extended hours. But hey…this is vacation and subject to change.

Who else, besides Michelle and I, are "doc-less"?

alright...every body send some 'pixie dust' to Michelle and Nancy...let's get them doing 'the Doc-Dance'.... :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Hey Kathy, that's pretty much what Jason and I did last year before our Western cruise - it was great! For all you people heading to the House of Mouse...if you get a chance get over to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot...it's so yummy!!

We're doing Universal this year because Jason couldn't get as much time off from work as he did last year. So we're lounging on Thursday and then heading to Islands of Adventure on Friday. That night we're going to Halloween Horror Nights...scary! After three years in a row of MNSSHP I think I'm going to board the Magic with gray hair on the 15th! :teeth:

Sending lots of pixie dust to you cruisers still waiting on docs.. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Hey guys! We're back home now. There was only minimal damage at our house - a couple of small branches down. Some of our neighbors' homes had fences down and judging from the mounds of yard debris waiting for garbage pickup, I think some neighbors had more substantial branches down. All in all, I'm glad we left, but I'm even hapiper my home is safe and sound. Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad to hear there are other scrapbookers on our cruise. DH thinks I'm a bit of a maniac about it, but at least I know there are others out there. I saw on the DCL forum that there were a few scrapbooks and paper/sticker packs available onboard for fairly reasonable prices. I can't wait to see them. That might be one of my first stops onboard. I usually use Creative Memories stuff and they have some really cute Disney paper packs and a little 7x7 Disney album. I bought a couple of those to do one for Will and one for my grandmother. I think they're actually discontinuing the album, so I'm glad I bought it when I did.

i have heard that sometimes they sell out of the scrapbook stuff fo it is best to get it the very first night for the best selection! i like to scrapbook too but ost of my stuff is in the "waiting to be scrapbooked" pile! :rotfl:

I am elizabeth (33) and i am a labor and delivery nurse (yeah Paige....my services are free for you!)...my hubby owen (35) works in the oil field service industry and puts in very long hours...he says he puts up with my disney obsession to make me happy but i will show you who lines up first for characters! i am a die hard texas aggie (gee...who would have guessed?) and he loves the University of Oklahoma (by the way, don't mention USC around him...it is a very sore subject! or TCU...or UCLA...probably Texas will be a sore subject after next week too! :flower: ) We took our first cruise last year on the wonder but we were so exhausted from the parks that we were in bed by 9pm each night and we are usually night owls!

we have 4 kids: alex (12), andy (8), Karen (6), and Austin (3)...we are driving down over fall break so they will only miss 4 days...i just cannot wait until i am catered to! i am also looking forward to DIS tag!

No slacking allowed! We're too close to our sail date to fall so far down the page...practically on page two when I checked!
