Katie was named after Scarlet O’Hara. Gone With the Wind has always been one of my favorite books and I always thought that if I had a girl, I would name her Katie Hamilton in honor of Scarlet O’Hara’s many married names (Katie Scarlet O’Hara Hamilton, Kennedy, Butler)

I love it! I named my daughter Mia after Mia Wallace - Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction, as soon as I heard that name, I felt the same way - I love that in spanish it means "mine" so when we meet people who speak spanish for the first time, they have this confused looks on their faces...

"this is my daughter, Mine"......"we know she's yours, but whats her name?"

:scratchin (hmmm... sounds funnier in Spanish....) :scratchin

Well, Danny and I are headed out for a few days to visit friends in Atlanta and take in a Braves game tonight. *Go Braves*
I'm hoping everyone has a great weekend and Paige continues to stay safe from the storm.
Nancy, I hope your puppy is doing ok, poor fellow! And that you are doing the document dance very, very soon. :sunny:

Paige, Glad you are safe and sound!

Yes my name is MICHELLE... :goodvibes It is at the very bottom of my signature...Maybe I should move it up! BabyJosie is my little Peanut! princess: Although she is not a baby anymore!!

Wayne,

I just bid on EBAY for a MONOPOLY "The Dog" game for my Neice and won it!!! $17.50!
It was 34.50 at Dillards the other day. So I guess that is good. ;)

My best friend is going on the cruise with me. She is a single Mom of a 7 and a 2 year old. She just moved from Illinois to Missouri by me. We were prego at the same time. Jo and Gus are 2 weeks apart and best of friends! :earboy2: We are all so excited about this trip!! :cool1:

Still no Doc's! I know you guys are tired of hearing that!!

Signed,
Michelle( BabyJosie's Mom) :sunny:

Anyway, we’ve been trying for number two for about two years and will be starting stronger infertility treatments when we get back from the Disney trip.

Glad yer good Paige! lessee what is there to do in Dallas? the Stars playing? maybe the cowboys?

My wife is a member of the arachnaphobiacs!! when she was a kid, she and her sister picked on their much younger sister all the way to and from the move Arachnaphobia.... you ever hear about sowing what you reap? They lived in CT where they have giant wood spiders (much like the potty one posted by Kathy). Well when they got home from the movie, guess what was waiting for the 2 picking sisters on the light switch to their kitchen? then later that night a couple of other places? since we've met, I've had to be the white knight (maybe it should be black knight... "None shall pass!! It's just a flesh wound!"). man I get calls to come home to squash the little jumpers that have the tiny claws... luckily I live 5 minutes away from home!

anybody know the black knight reference? huh huh? I'll give you a bit more for you non-geekites: "She turned me into a newt! Help help I' being repressed!! Doing- Bring out your dead!!!"

Neee!!

pirate: Oh!! I got the cutest black 3 tier skirt with lace trim and sequins along the bottom for PIRATE NIGHT! pirate:

It matches my "RED" Capt Jack Sparrow Tank top perfect.... His face and swords are in black!! Then I got some big silver hoop earings and I am having a few braids and beads put in while at Sea on Monday! pirate:

Can you tell I am excited about Pirate night!! I guess I will be sort of a "Pirate's Wench" Guess I better break out the black eyeliner. The kids pirate costumes should be arriving. pirate: I think I am most excited about Pirate night! I hope we have fabulous weather!!

Ok....Just had to fill you guys in on my Pirate get up! :goodvibes

Okay, that is the funniest story ever. :) I would not be staying in my house if I found that thing in my house! I don't even know what I would do because he'd leave a mess if we killed it, but coaxing it into a container to release it outside might be difficult. Of course, it wouldn't be my problem. My husband is my very own Black Knight!

'No, now go away before I taunt you a second time. I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.'

Sounds great! I am afraid that I am going to be a bit of a Muggle on Pirate night. We are going with the tropical thing instead. I attempted to get Jeff to wear his Captian Hook costume and I would wear my pirate costume (we did this a few years ago for Halloween) but he didn't want to lug it down there. :)

Jay and I are doing more of a tropical thing on Pirate Night, too. Although that really means that I'll be the one looking semi-tropical, not the husband!

Got all excited this morning at work. We have caller id and everytime the phone rings I see who it is before I answer it. "AAA Wisconsin" popped up and I was convinced my TA was calling w/docs. NOPE!!! Call wasn't even for me. Our TA did check yesterday but got the reply from DCL that docs are sent out 14-18 days before embarkation and rarely before. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Now I'm convinced that the big hold up is cuz we are getting upgraded to suite #8030 or #8530!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Another question I just thought of....

Since we missed out in getting Palo brunch reservations online, where do we go to try and get them once we are on the ship?

Nancy :wave2:

Hi Nancy!

When you check-in at the cruise terminal you will be given a special, shortened version of the DCL navigator for the day...it will list the place that they are taking Palo reservations on board ship. You should go there right away after you board so that you have the best choice of available times. I think last year they were taking Palo reservations in one of the bars in the adult entertainment section... it's on deck three to your right after you board the ship. Just ask a crewmember to point you in the right direction - it's easy to find.

There will be a small crowd there and another one at the spa when it opens for reservations...all part of the fun!

We booked in May 04 for this cruise. We are very excited that it is finally coming. This will be our first cruise Third disney trip in five years.
There are 25 total going with us, 16 adults 9 kids. Can't Wait !! :earsboy:

Welcome Brian and your entire crew!!!! Hope you will meet up with us!

Nancy :wave2:

Welcome Brian and group.

Might have come across a problem for dis-meet Karen has just been reading a navigator from April. At 1pm in Promenade Lounge was an Art auction on the Sunday. Has anyone seen a more recent navigator?

the last Eastern Navigators I have at the office are from June 2004 - my april 05 are at home - i'll check later. They do not show anything going on in the Promenade Lounge at 1. Know someone was trying to get an updated set - this would be worth double checking - anyone? But - 'all bets might be off'...they could be making some scheduling changes that start on our cruise. PL still may be the best place to meet...and if there is another activity we can always go to nightclub area. It might be an idea to wear our mardi gras beads for the meet on Sunday, as well.

ok, I've been lurking here for a while now and am getting so excited about our October 15th cruise that I finally had to post. We have DD9 and DS5 who can't wait to go to the clubs and swim with the dolphins! We went on a 7 day land/sea package last year and decided we had to go again. You will recognize me and DD with our bright red, curly hair.
Can't wait to hook up with some of you on the cruise!

I concur...rather than confuse the issue at this late date (and it is getting late, oh my!!) let's just plan on the promenade lounge at 1PM on Sunday and if we have to decamp then we can always move to Sessions or something else in that area as Kevin suggested.

I'm so excited - all the little goodies I ordered for tag have been showing up this week. You guys are going to find out "real-time" just how goofy I can be. There's a reason he's my favorite Disney character. :teeth:

Have a good weekend and welcome aboard the Molar Express to all the newbies!!
