Hey to all!

To those of you who are getting more info in the mail, I'm jealous! I want more info. I want tickets. I want my room number. I wanna leave this weekend. Waaaaaaaaaaa. Can you hear me whining. HEEE HEEE Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend. We'll be busy. My daughter seems to be ever so popular this weekend. She has two birthday parties to go to. So, on top of the other things going on this weekend, we'll be driving around alot to get our little princess to where her public needs her. Heee Heee

I'm thrilled to have a count as to how many people are playing DIS-tag. It's going to be a blast and I can't wait to start shopping for our gifts.

On a separate note, we spent the afternoon yesterday getting refingerprinted for the adoption. Can you believe that Homeland Security (or Immigration) needs us to update our fingerprints every 15 months during the adoption process. You know, just in case your fingerprints change. UGH. And, what was worse, they didn't like my fingerprints. Apparently I have too many "extra" lines and the pretty little "rings" on my fingers were thus partially blocked by these adorable little "extra" lines. I had 2 good fingers out of 10. Oye Vey! However, looking on the bright side, all of the paperwork that we had to redo over the Labor Day weekend and the updating of the fingerprints (that apparently change every 15 months) is now done and we're back to a waiting pattern. Please join my in prayer that we won't have to wait much longer. I'm not sure if my sanity can handle it.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with you as you go through this process. We adopted our Lindsey from foster care, and it was a long hard road! We know what you are going through, but remember...it will be so worth it in the end! And yes, there is an end!

Hey to all!

Thank you all for your best wishes. We know there is an end to this. It's just some days easier to take than others. We adopted our Lilli from Vietnam as well as we've been there done that. I'm here to tell ya, it doesn't make it any easier. We joke around the office that I'm in my 16th month and dang I look good. We also joke around with animal gestation periods. Right now I've pass the "I'm having a whale" mode and I'm quickly heading to the "I'm having an elephant" mode. HEEE HEEE Anyway, thanks to all for your best wishes. Hopefully we'll not only be celebrating 15 wonderful years of marriage and a 38th birthday but the "birth" of our second daughter.

Kristi, you will be put on our prayer list Sunday...Don't be surprised if my wife hunts you down and talks your ear off about adoption. She wanted to have 2kids, but after Josh was born she had "Female Problems" and we are not able to have more. She has been hinting around for the last year....

Congrats for the ones that got some DOCS

We are lucky enough to be able to drive to WDW and the port, so we will be leaving as soon as Josh gets out of school on that Fri., we have a room at All-Star Music. We are season passholders and they were offering discounted rooms. So it is cheaper to stay on property and drive that morning down to the port.

We also have a room there for the Sat. we get back....you can't be that close and not go to a couple of parks. We will go to MGM that morning and hit MK that night.

OK, enough of the ramblining, so back to your regular scheduled program!

Apoohfn- you crack me up. I laughed when I read that you aren't dressing for formal night because of the extra pieces to pack. Then I remembered you are the Queen on packing light. I'm actually jealous. Good for you!

We will be dressing up. I have a new long dress, Dh will rent a tux, and DD has a beautiful gown we found on ebay. I'm going to surprise her with a tiara. She's going feel like a princess/prom queen.

I'm also gathering goodies for our tag. Should be fun. Can't wait. Have a good weekend! Cathy

In the Hudson Valley the mercury hit a chilling 40 degrees this morning!!! it IS still technically summer right?

I have a general question regarding the oceaneers club that I was hoping some of you may be able to shed some light on. Our three year old is going back and forth from completely potty trained to accident city....what do they do in the club if your child has an accident? do they ban accident prone kiddies???

I know that if she has an accident, you will have to come take care of it. They can not help her. As for if she has an accident,

I am not sure. I would expect even the best potty trained child is likely to have an accident when confronted with the choice between potty and Cinderella. Maybe others can help.

Yes indeed...we live in Kingston NY. My DW grew up in Phoenicia and I grew up in Woodstock NY. I just looked at the weather channel again and it looks like tonight is going to be another chiller.....don't you miss it???

The colder it gets here is just going to make those island temps that much more sweet!
