Happy Thursday to all (I’m celebrating a Friday – early)
This might be my final photo till we get meet on the Ship. There is no guessing required…I’ll title this…”Kevin has left the office – returning in 19 days – take a message”.

If any are wondering….below occurs directly after the count down/horn.

Kristi,

My heart goes out to you and your family. :grouphug: Stay strong and don't loose hope. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Morning, morning, morning to all.

Bev I called Disney Cruise Line, because like you I had some questions on this same form. I was told by Cynthia the city of travel agency we should put is Celebration. That is where their main office is located. Anything that does not pertain to us just leave blank. And, it is OK to abbreviate. Hope this helps.
8 days and we'll be onboard the MAGIC!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. :) Life at the Foster's home has been interesting this week. I'm convinced I've lost weight simply from the stress. Not a great way to lose but I'll take every pound I can. :) As far as the cold is concerned, I'm doing much better. I took Tuesday off of work and then again on Thursday (what felt like my worst day). I'm gonna live! :)

As far as the adoption is concerned, thank you again for all of your prayers. Things aren't nearly as bleak as they were Tuesday evening when we found out the terrible news. We've been on the phone with the powers that be regarding all of this and have been in constant prayer about it. We have so many caring friends and family that have been praying for us and I appreciate each and every one of you and your prayers and thoughts. We'll know hopefully by Sunday if we're going to continue on but I'd say it's about a 90% chance things will still move forward with the adoption. Will we be worried about a couple of things, yes. The good thing here is our contract states clearly that we will be taken care of in all aspects of the adoption. This means the agency has an obligation to us one way or the other. The other positive is we've been there, done that. Although Vietnam has changed some since we were there 5 years ago, we still know our way around and we are comfortable in the surroundings. That will help us through any issues that may arise. So, please continue those prayers because at this point, anything can go right or wrong. I'll keep you all informed. Even after our trip is over (sorry, had to mention the trip would be over at some point), I promise to keep you all updated on our adoption saga. Boy, if this does go through alright, I can't imagine the incredibly special little girl we will have. To go through all of this for a little person it's going to be amazing. :)

So have a fabulous weekend all! I'll be getting my hair done, my nails done and starting to pack! :) Very cool! You are all loved! See you soon! Kristi

Kristi ~ that is VERY hopeful news and we'll be sending many good vibes your way :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Can't believe we're embarking a week from tomorrow!!!!

I've been laying stuff to pack on our bedroom floor. Got the clothes I want to bring hung up together in one section of the closet...

I've been reading mixed reports about the "coldness" of the ship/dining rooms. Would a pashmina scarf be enough??

And I'm late but...Have a wonderful trip, Kevin!!!

More :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes for Kristi!

Good Morning fellow cruisers!

Well, it's hard to believe we will be leaving next Thursday....as it is SNOWING here! Hard to pack for a summer vacation, but sure I'll manage. Any ideas on what the weather will be like when we cruise?

Happy packing to all this weekend, and see you soon!

It's SNOWING by you??!! Wow! We're supposed to have rain here in the San Fran Bay area.

Re: weather, I'm going to assume it'll be HOT and humid. I'm bring mostly short sleeves, a scarf/wrap to keep me warm in the dining room, shorts, skirts and one long pants.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

YES, snowing! And boy is it coming down! Can't even remember the last time it snowed this early!

Thanks David, now I can complete my documents!

Someone said it's snowing thats so cool! It can't be far off here (we in the the north of Scotland) but the best thing about being on a october cruise, is the end of summer sales! the amount of shorts and tee-shirts i've brought in the sales is amazing, I need to work out what to pack :)

I went out and got my american Dollars today i'm getting all excited, my Line Manager at work is also going to Disney the same weeks we are, they not going on a cruise though.

Safe Journeys everyone :)

Hey Apoohfn! Great idea to bring a tote umbrella. I wouldn't have thought of that. Good thinking. :) Will add that to my list. :) Thanks for the good vibes. :) Keep em coming. :) Kristi

Any ideas on what the weather will be like when we cruise?

As APOOHFN said, it will be nice and hot and humid, but yes the theaters & dining room will be air conditioned, but not too bad. Can't wait! :cheer2:

Okay, I have too much time on my hands. I wanted to post again so I could be post # 2000. I know...pathetic. ;)

Have a great weekend everyone and to those that are starting out on their travels now or soon...Have a wonderful, safe trip and see you next week! :goodvibes
