That makes sense, since I assume Westchester is closer to you. I've never flown out of White Plains. I hear it's a tiny terminal.

White Plains is a small terminal but efficient. My DD has flown out of there a few times and we have taken and picked her up....from our house it is only a 25 minute drive with no traffic (the TZ bridge is hit or miss!!).

My BIL had tickets on AirTran for the cruise out of Stewart and was contacted that they are suspending service out of Stewart (while we are all on the cruise) so for his return they switched him to White Plains. He lives in Monroe, NY so Stewart was convenient for him.

We are flying Continental out of EWR on Wed the 8th....hope Continental does not change flight times around again.

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!
It's Friday.......the sun is shinning......we will finally be able to finish the deck today when Denis is done work!!!!! can't wait

We are having deck adventures as well....finally committed to having a new deck built and finally got the approval of the variance we needed from the Town. Then the waiting and waiting for the vinyl siding guys to replace the siding on the back of the house so that the deck guys can start....seems like a never ending process.

Hubby was very reluctant to have someone do the deck as he has ALWAYS done all the home improvements around the house himself....he does not like not having control of the situation!!! Hi ho, Hi ho...it's off to work he goes.... After tons of back and forth we decided on the TREX decking. Can't wait for it to be done!!!

My dad built a deck on the back of his old house aftrer he retired. Its a great project. Hope you get yours done quickly. Maybe my next house will have a deck. i love them but don't want to put the money into it for this house

Boy am I beat today....last night had to work a shift at the Disney Store for a floor move so worked 8:00 pm to 2:30 am.....bed by 3:00 am and up at 7:00 am.....I certainly will be dragging at my office job today!!!

Anyone else get their flights changed at all? As I mentioned BIl had to switch airports and we had a slight time change in our departure time...but nothing significant yet.

I think as couple of ppl have had their flights changed. Kristen and Candy maybe? I do remember reading about flight changes either real early on in this chapter or late in the last chapter.

Rich and I are driving down, so we can make our own schedule fortunately. We may not save any money with gas being the way it is, but the aggravation from flying is just something we don't want right now. Plus it'll add on vacation days to our trip. So it should be nice.

my day is the usual......after lunch I'm going outside with Kevin to do some gardening and play LOL then go pick up Josh.....that's it!

oh how fun for you too!!!!!!!! our deck is not attached to the house though! less hassles that way and we don't need permission from the city to have it done that way!!!!!!!!! goodluck with the deck! I know it's always fun to add to the house! LOL
Denis just needs to get 5 more boards to finish it up and build the stairs then we can get all the outdoor furniture on it........should be a good weekend!

Yes...a few years ago.....I have used them two or three times.....but for delivering items to favorite crew members onboard......the response I got from the recipients was wonderful (I never saw the baskets) so I assume they were great!!!

Shirley always gets good reviews and I have met with her at her store once before we sailed to say hello....very nice woman!!!
