my boys are almost the same age as yours!! one is 6 and one will be 4 on the first day of the cruise!

I've been thinking about that actually. Defintely not doing any excursions. But I've been going through my passporter for ideas. And I'm thinking of picking up the new 1. How much new stuff is there in the passporter, my version is the 1 b4 the med cruises.

We are closest to Moyock, so we are hoping to find something in that area when we are ready. We may go a little bit further south than that, but I don't want to go too far since we are already a 3-4hr drive from my family where live now. I think Camden would be the furthest we would go, but i hope not that far.

As far as jobs go DH would likely keep the job he has now in VA, he has too many years in to just be able to walk away for something else. Though he's not very happy with his job right now. I'm trying to get him to apply for a different contract but its like pulling teeth.

So among the downsides to moving would be paying income taxes in both states, but buying a bigger house here would likely mean all house and no land. Town homes are everywhere now, and for prices I wouldn't dare unless I were in Philly cause many of them are Historical, but even up there you'd still get more land than what's available here.

Beautiful area of NE N.C. I travel up that way once a year for business and always enjoy the drive. You will get the best of two worlds there, and not be too far from where you are now.

OK, no way I'm sorting through nearly 1500 posts to catch up here! I'm new to the boards and this will be my first cruise, so I wanted to pop in and introduce myself. We are so excited about this cruise! The kids, who have no concept of time, keep asking me if it's time to go yet. I'm loving all the great tips and advice on these boards. Hope it's ok for me to join in with my fellow cruisers on this thread.

I can honestly say that I am EXHAUSTED!!!! I spent from 830 to 2 at the school for field day. Then came home unloaded the truck and washed the tarps I took...since they were covered in mud. Since I had the hose out, I decided to wash my truck. Since I was all yucky anyway, I decided to cut grass! Then I got a shower and put on my comfy clothes. Connor just put in the movie, Juno. I have not seen it yet, but it is too funny, in spite of the story line.
