I love the HSM soundtract too, Jenna has all the disney songs on her MP3 player and I love listening to them, I really like the Enchanted soundtract too. We are all kids at heart!! Thats why I love Disney!!!

We booked a car as well ages ago from Alamo, I don't remember what we paid, I'll have to ask DH. We are getting it for the week ahead though as we will be a Vero Beach before the cruise.

Have an awesome day everyone!!!!!
:goodvibes :woohoo: pirate:

:wave2: Morning all!!!!!

Randy and I have a 6 hour seminar on retirement to go to this morning, so I thought I would pop in and say hi while I'm waiting for my straightening iron to heat up!!!!! I have no idea what they have to talk about for 6 hours, but hopefully I'll be able to stay awake!!! LOL

Gina, it sounds like you have a busy day.........have fun!!!!!
I hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Gina,

Good Luck at the cake class. Have FUN today...

Candy,

You'll have to let us know what they talk about for six hours..Have Fun!!!!!

Nancy,

You up for a run today???!!!!!!!!!!

that is an awesome price!!!!!!! go check again for the fun of it and see how much it is now!!

My $65 for my standard SUV, I just booked last week at Avis, with a code from Mousesavers. Have you tried Avis? My rate from MCO is also higher then my return rental picking up at the port. Taxes must be higher at the airport.

My dd has the HSM and Hannah and all that other stuff, including Enchanted on her Ipod. But, I also have it all on mine too LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not very good at acting my age :lmao: .

I'm back from my weekend jaunt to WDW and all I have to say is three words: Toy. Story. Mania. It is great; everything Buzz Lightyear should have been.

We met our goal for Saturday, hitting all three parks. We started out at MK and rode the mountains, HM and TTA, ate lunch at CHH and took the monorail to the TTC to catch a bus to the Studios. Rode RnR and ToT, then watched a little of the Block Party Bash and walked over to Toy Story Mania to see if there was a soft opening. They weren't open when we got there, but we decided to stick around for 15 minutes to see if we could get lucky. Some of us went into One Man's Dream to cool off, when one of our party came running in to get us. The queue was short and after we got out, we decided to try again. We got as far as the first "practice" screen when the ride stopped. Now sure why, but we ended up having to get escorted off. Oh well, at least we got one go around. All I can say is TSM is so much better than Buzz. No question about what you are shooting at.

After we left Disney Studios we took the boat to EPCOT, getting off at Y&B to walk the rest of the way. We went to Soarin' and ate dinner in Seasons. After Soarin', we headed out back to the Y&B Club dock to catch up with our reservation for the Illuminations cruise. All in all it was a great day. I have to say, we did it without ever feeling rushed.

Afternoon kiddies.

Hope everybody's having a lovely day. Been a mix of sunshine and storms here.

Hello everyone!

The cake class sounds like fun!

We paid off our cruise on May 5th.!   I wanted to make sure that is was paid way in advanced of the 90 day booking date. I keep looking at our Disney ressies and smiling at the "balanced owed" and "Paid in Full" lines.

DILEMMA TIME:
We are still debating on adding my stepdaughter to one of the ressies. She will be 18yrs and hasn't been on a cruise with us since she was 7yrs. The problem is she will be starting college and she SAYS she is willing to miss a week of classes but when the time comes, will she. ALSO, if we added her to OUR ressies she would cost $1,120.58 :scared1: :scared1: IF we have another family who we know is traveling with us to, it would be $880.58. NOW, our cruise is costing us mucho mucho monies (I know who isn't being charged mucho monies?) do we take the chance and add her in HOPES that she will miss that week from college? What would you guys do?

The difference in the prices is we have connecting cat.5 staterooms and since it has to be "double occupancy" we have one adult in each stateroom and then our 9yr in one and the 7yr in the other (as second passenger) and then our 4yr in one. IF we added her (my 18yr old stepdaughter) she would take the "second passenger" spot and move one of the kids to child rate (WHICH DREAMS told me was the $1,120 price --- yes that was for a child!:scared1: ) Now this other family that booked through DREAMS asked about adding a third adult to their ressie (cat. 5) and they got quoted the $880. Now either way, we have plenty of room in our two staterooms for her to stay so she wouldn't be in their stateroom but ours ( I wish they were in even a high Cat. number like a 8-10 and see if that would make a difference, but this other family is just down the hall from us.) Does this pricing seem right to you? Should I call Disney myself and see if I get a totally different price? I wish I knew what to do. My husband and I have been going about this for several weeks now. ANY advise would be great!

Well, gotta run! Will check back in later!

THANKS!!

Julie, that is quite the dilema! I am not sure what i would do? It's one thing for our middle schoolers to miss a week, another thing for a first year college student to miss! I guess I would wait as long as you could? Does trip insurance cover the cost if she changes her mind? (I am assuming you would have to make up an excuse other then, I don't want to go)

I knew there was something I wanted to share with everyone! I found these laundry detergent tablets at Walmart the other day! They are similar to the ones you buy for the dishwasher. They are called Dropps. www.dropps.com I bought a bag to try while we are at the beach. If they work well, I'll be bringing them on the cruise too! It says to use one for small loads, 2 for large loads, top load and front load (he) compatible. THey were out of the scented ones, so I got the "free" ones...no dye no scent. I better check the website myself and see if there is a coupon to be had. 20 tablets cost $4.79. I thought that was a little pricey? But I didn't take the time to do the math....I knew I was paying for the convenience.

Time to clean up from dinner!!!!!

WOW!! Julie, not sure what to tell you to do. I wonder once classes begin and she is knee deep in things how she will feel about missing out on all of that work!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have 2 in college, 22 and 24 and at the time we booked this cruise, Fall '08 was 3 or more semesters away. It was just too unpredictable and risky. Even now, they couldn't clear that time off w/ the instructors, because they haven't registered yet. Although they both want to go someday, they think this isn't a good time and too risky. It's a hard decision I know, good luck!
