Morning everyone!!
Sorry I missed everyone last night. I did read and catch up, but I went on to bed because as you see, I'm up early this morning. I am going to work on a Habitat house today....manual labor... I won't be able to type tonight!!! See y'all later...if I can type!!

woke up with a headache this morning. Not sure if it's hormones, sinus or weather related. Going to get rain later today, possibly storms.

Going to search for a new grill cover today, ours is trashed, and get Connor a new pair of tennis shoes. He came home and showed me that half the sole came off at school yesterday. Is it just us, or are boys just REALLY rough on thier shoes? The part that stinks is, he is in grown men sizes, so the shoes are more money!! He's got big feet. I call them his puppy feet! I hope he grows into them soon!

Going to search for shoe store coupons and a grill cover online, then make some breakfast for the sleeping princes! Have a good day everyone!

Allen, that is wonderful!!!!! I know my dh would love to do that, but it never seems to happen around here when he can help! Right now it's my habitat that's he's working his butt off on.

I wasn't around last night either. My ds got a last minute invite Thursday night, to a weekend long party at a camp place, so I had to get him off. Then while I was dropping him off, dd called and asked if she could go sleepover at her friends house, so I had to stop home pick her up and drop her off.
So, with no kids,dh and I went out to dinner (not that we can't do that with them, but it's cheaper to buy for 2 than 4 LOL) and then had to go to 4 home improvement stores to find some stuff he needed for the heat ducts in the basement, and it was 10 before we got home. Exciting date night huh?

Easier...maybe, cheaper...that remains to be seen. My mom & dad and Mary's mom & aunt usually go with us, so per person, it is much cheaper to drive. But with the whole crew, we have to stop overnight on the way down. If it was just 2 or 3 of us, we could drive it in one day. Plus my dad has never flown, and not sure we can talk him into it...

I'm game to drive straight thru... and Pa would be too... as long as we take some "rest breaks".... and stop at every Starbucks once we get on the FL turnpike!!!!!!

Allen's Dad (DH) probably would appreciate a bit of Palo's as he's been with Allen on the Habitat House all day. They just called, and it's raining so they are closing down, because they are roofing and it's slick. I'm not sure I could make this one handed. Maybe J will help me when he gets home!

The human's with Testasterone running through thier veins are watching Alien VS Predator Requim. I am in my jammies, in bed, Disin' and watching Andy Griffith! OH GOSH!! Aunt Bea just paid 48 CENTS for gas!!!!! I wish I could pay that for a GALLON!

I have... I remember when it became a dollar a gal. When we were in high school, a friend had a little Metropolitan car... we would chip in and put a quarters worth of gas in it on Friday night and could make it all weekend for that! Yep, those were the good old days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
