October 11-18, 2008 Eastern Magic-Parrothead Pirates in Paradise! Chapter#4

Totally, spontanous and it is VERY PAINFULL!!!!!! Pain meds. are a WONDERFUL thing... Just had a pain in my back and went to the dr. and they said you need a surgeon NOW!!! Or your going to not be able to breath and will die. It was a week before their third Birthday. Well, it happened the summer before that but it reinflated itself after two weeks of bed-rest. Then it happened again and they would not let me go home. I was like can I go and see the kids no they put me into surgery ASAP.. Then they tried to take the tube out and it kept collapasing everytime I went home with the nurse. Short and long of it. It took four times and removal of part of the lung. Then it happened Mother's Day Weekend almost two years ago. So in turn I need to be really really really carefull!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin that is really really horrible. Now it all makes sense with you ordering 2 air purifiers...Just be very very carefull for the rest of your life! Stay away from the drywall dust

My goodness gracious! Sounds pretty awful. I remember when Sean's lungs collapsed.. scary for sure. He went from being normal and happy to needing 4 liters of oxygen on his bipap machine in 2 hours. No warning for him either, and I Do remember how badly he was hurting...

Thanks, everyone. It was bad and it was scarey!!!!!!!!! Went into the hospital four times in three months. Was in more than I was out. I missed the kids b-day. When it happened on Mother's Day I knew it was bad. I can tell when it is aggrivated it hurts, and the cold weather is really really bad, then I need to take it easy. There is so much scar tissue in there it gets bad at times but then it is ok if I rest.

Yes, I find cold is worse for Sean (missing a lot of lung) and I (asthma for me) too. Do you ever need to go on oxygen, or are you able to keep your sats up enough without it?

Taco Bell, yum, had that twice this week LOL.

I want a drink too, yummy margarita or daquire would be nice, or just a good old rum and coke.

No idea what I will bring for the FE, let's see what's Minnesota known for...snow and mosquitos! Which do you guys want? (not sure how I would transport either of those LOL)

well since we have PLENTY of those 2 things here I would say none for me thanks LOL ....try a google search on things that are made in Minnesota, I'm sure you'll find something...if not just bring anything Disney LOL
