In the real estate narrative is says, ""A beautiful setting on a private rear lot.""" What exactly is a private rear lot???

They can write almost anything. Ours could read the same thing because we don't have backyard neighbours. It's a hundred feet and a fence but in reality there is a railroad track and a heavy equipment garage, it's just that our back yard is about twice the size of most yards.

No seriously, it means that it is at the end of our road. To the left of the road set back from the rest of the road. We have a private road here so it is the house set the furthest back I guess that is why it says rear lot. Not really the best explanation since there is another two houses back there as well so not the best wording if you ask me.. I was just kidding about my "rear lot."

BTW, a "rear lot" is always better than a "lot of rear."

Yes, they all kind of are around here. Since we have to have an acre or more to have a home in this town. Can not build any new construction unless it is on at least an acre...!!!!!

I like that idea... I don't think I could handle the winters out there. But the idea of one acre minimum lots is outstanding...

Thanks, it is nice and quite and private. We have good space between the houses and all. We have a nice yard that is why Bruce wanted to add on and not move!!! Our pool was a big factor too!!!!!!!!
