Hi all, need to catch up but I did see something about the marshmellow bananas, I haven't had those in years, they are good, odd but good!!

I'm a little out of touch with DCL news, so I apologize if this is a question with an obvious answer. We were looking at this cruise today, because the date works perfectly with my vacation schedule. When my wife looked this morning, there were rooms available, but when I checked there was nothing. I see there is availability for the cruise the week before and the week after. Why is this cruise so popular?

HAPPY VALNETINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

We don't do a lot to celebrate. Mostly, because Colton's Birthday was yesterday and Steve works until 9. We have cake leftover, there's a roast in the crockpot. What can I say. I usually make up a small treat bag for the boys, but they haven't even asked about it. If they do, I'll tell them we'll go out this weekend. Colton has birthday money to spend and they don't have school on Monday. It'll give us something to do! The leprachaun has come to our house too. I get out this black plastic dish I bought for salsa...LOL It kind of looks like a black caldraun, so the boys thought it was the pot at the end of the rainbow! I, of course, put the chocolate gold coins in it.

Candy, the mice are ADORABLE! That the ONLY kind of mice I want to see in my house! Meagan did a great job!

Joyce, you and I will have to stick together! Thankfully, Colton isn't in a "relationship", so as of now, no worries for me. I can only imagine what we'll be in for though.

TorisMom, have a great time at WDW!! I am sure you'll be busy, but try to enjoy as much as you can!

Pinkyboy, that bright red circle thingy on top of the big white thingy in the kitchen, it gets hot! I hope you are too badly scarred! Did it turn PINK yet?

Did a google on marshmellow bananas. They are sort of like our circus peanuts. Must be a Canadian product. I'd much rather have M&M's too. Smarties are okay, but I prefer sweet over sour.

Kristin, I, too, would like to see the video you made! Also, since you sent the youtube link for Vero, Steve and I did a search for SSR! We were so excited looking at the videos! We can't wait to get there! Thanks again!

Speaking of youtube, Colton has his own video...if you care to see it. He sang the National Anthem at the start of a middle school basketball game last year. Sandy, I think the popularity of this cruise is that it works with schools that have a year round schedule....so they would be on thier fall break.....and it works for me because that Monday will be Columbus Day...one less day of school the kids will have to miss. If you are interested I would call Disney directly to find out what rooms are available. With it booking up so quickly, I am not sure that the webpage would be accurate.

I'm ok, I was just being silly. It really didn't hurt as I had enough senses to remove my hand from the stove as soon as the ouch factor kicked in. Not pink just a little shiney.
So I have to escape to the store and buy Pinky something Valentineish. I was in a meeting in Toronto all day and got home to find she had got me something today. I should have let my mom babysit DS while she took other DS to swimming and gone shopping LOL. Oh how I will pay for this...

I saw a commercial last night...if you buy her something from Sears in the jewery, intimate apparel or perfume dept, you get a free Craftsman Tshirt! I think the end line of the commercial was, "something for both of you for Valentine's Day!" I thought that was pretty funny!

Every Thursday, and sometimes one more day a week if she calls, I go to the neighbors to let the dog out after school. Her daughter skates, and they don't come right home, so I help out. Well, today, when I got there, there was a card with a note...There is something sweet in the freezer for you! THANKS! So, I check it out! It's SO GOOD! and would be easy to make and yummy as a summer dessert. Take Ice Cream sandwiches and line the bottom of a 9x13 pan...cut to fit if necessary. Then top them with whipped cream and toppings. In my case, she put the chocolate sauce that hardens and Valentine M&M's! So we have that AND Blizzard cake left from last night! I think I am going to gain 10 pounds this week! But all this is right up my alley. I am a dessert person. Steve is a meat and potatoes man. More for me!
