Perfect, How about I list on the website that every sea day we can have an "informal" meet @ Goofy's for ice-cream @ 2:00. This way if you can not make one sea day then you can try for another. Or if the weather is not good one day then you will have another chance to meet. Or you can be like my kids and be there everyday @ that time...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,, we have been discusing a meet for when we board. There has been talk about meeting around the pool or on Deck 10 for the sale away party too!!!!!!!!!!!

Well tomorrow is the dreaded hospital day for Christopher But i am less stressed than I was. My hubby keeps talking to the Pediatric dentist that is doing the stuff and he says that its an easy thing and that Chris will be just fine.... But I just cant help but worry...thats my job and I take it seriously

I am.....but I don't want to hurry this trip!!!! We are having a great time!!! There is a lot to do up here in the summer!!!! Tomorrow we are going to go on the Alpine slide, Alpine rollercoaster, zipline, rock climbing wall, maze.......I might be forgetting something!!!!

Been hitting that thread for awhile. Though its huige and I think I haven't gone through all the pages. Some great hints there. and BTW the very first 1 really does work. Baby powder really does get the sand off

Yea he is having Root Canals and Crowns done And has to be put under anesthesia so that they can get it all done at once and not have to do it again They say that its an easy process and that he will be back to normal right after...but it is his first time going in and under so of course I have to worry...I am sure I would worry even if it was the millionth time he had went in We are first appointment of the day so we have to get up at 5am But at least it will be done and over with before noon so that is good We are so scared for him but he doesnt know he is going in and I am hoping that he is so half asleep when we take him in, that he doesnt remember anything

Sweet baby... there is a medication that they can give him in pre-op called Versed that will help him to not remember anything! (too bad they can't give a bit to mom and dad too though....)

It might take a little while for the anaesthesia to fully wear off, I know that Sean is usually cranky for a day or two after his dental cleanings (most of his are done under a general). Is it a children's hospital? Hopefully they will have some entertainment available, pre-op for our hospital is usually a couple of hours long so we always bring our portable DVD player, or the nintendo DS, books, stories on CD, etc.

Hello everyone!
Just got a call from our Team Mom that practice is canceled for tonight! it has rained pretty much all day, but the radar is clear for the rest of the night. The league has still canceled though. The coaches are not happy about it though. Instead we'll have practice Weds to make up for tonight. I guess I better do my chores tonight that I would have done tomorrow....like laundry!

Kristin, EVERY time I hear the ships horn I get goosebumps!!! and like Candy and Shauna said, Are you trying to scare us with the other videos?? I have faith in our captain that he will avoid those waves and keep us smooth sailing! Ice Cream Socials sound like a YUMMY idea!!! If we really put our thinking caps on, we could come up with a few other meets too.....like ice cream....coffee/tea at Cove Cafe for the adults, a walking group in the mornings.....think, think, think......

Shauna, the videos of Chris are ADORABLE!!! The boy I sit for, Andrew, he sings Best of Both Worlds...and that's about all he knows!! Well, he sings that and Elmo's World. LOL

Gouodux, your girls are ADORABLE!!! Oh My!!! You are going to have your door beat down in a few years!!

I would like to ask everyone who is on the FE list, even though it is past the date would you all allow me to participate? I had good intentions to get more involved....Sometimes "adventures" get in the way... Last Thursday I had an emergency cholycestectomy (gallbladder removed). Since I had some "down" time I decided to get on the DIS boards to look forward to something I couldn't believe how long the thread is! I couldn't think of anything that could (or would) consume my recovery time better!
I hope you all can make an exception-

Hey Randy, I feel the same way. We do have to cut it off at some point, but we also need to be flexible enough to be able to add late comers. It won't be a problem for me to add to the list, but I see where it would be for some. I'm not sure what the answer is....

We fortunately are pretty well along in our FE gifts, so have the time and desire to do more. But yeah, soon enough the time is gonna come along when we're too pressed to get more in.

Ditto... I am ok with it so 4 votes it is. I really NEED to know in the next week or so though as we are heading into busy time with the end of OUR school year, lots of travel/outtings, and we are heading east in... less than 6 weeks!

Where we are taking Chris isnt a childs hospital but its a GREAT hospital that is here. We have been talking to the Pediactric dentist who is doing the work, and he says that he uses them all of the time and that they are great. We are the first appointment of the day...so we gotta be there at 5am So no late night here for me But I will check in tomorrow after everything is all done to say hi and let everyone know how it went

Cruise announcement!

Okay! I am so excited I have to share it with my DIS Friends!

We have been looking at rates, and school breaks, budget so we would be all prepared to "rebook" onboard on our awesome Parrothead cruise.

Well in talking to our TA, we figured out that even with the 10% off and the 200 credit we would come out cheaper if we booked it NOW before we board due to the TA's group rates.
