Ugh what a mess. When we moved in here the hot water wasn't working. I gave up and called my step dad for help, then we both gave up and called the gas company since they own the water tank. The guy took one look at it and said it's over 10 years old you get a new one. He finaly got the pilot light going when the plumbers arrived with the new tank.

At least yours was old, so it had a reason to not work. We built ours new, so it was all brand spanking new! And it had all worked on the walk through on Friday LOL.

Oh yeah, the Aladdin performance was tonight, and Alexa was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had such a great time, sang her solo like a champ, hit all her cues, remembered all her lines and all her dance moves! It was great!!!

Awesome!!!!!! Tell Alexa congratulations!!!!!!!

Michele, I'll pity your for your pity party!!!! Kinda reminds me of the day we moved into this house. It was 97 degrees, and we had the doors constantly opening since we were moving. Then everyone left and it was still quite warm. It just didn't seem to be cooling down. Sure enough, feel the vents, warm air coming out. The compressor was leaking. It's a Saturday night and we had to call the emergency repair guy who left a party to come out, and we had to pay out of pocket (the builder paid us back later). Then we needed showers cuz we were sticky and filthy, and dh and I jump in to the 2 showers. Both ICE cold!!!!!!!!!!!! The water heater fan broke too, so we had no hot water at all. Our realtors came, found the problem, and then went to another home they were building in the neighborhood and took the fan off that water heater and fixed ours LOL. All at 9pm on a Saturday, while wearing shorts and grubby t-shirts. It was pretty funny, but it took a good day for the house to finally cool down.

oh no!!!!!! talk about bad luck !!!!!!!!!!! hope nothing else happened that weekend?????

LOL, no the rest was good. Oh wait, the next day we had to pick up a bunch of boxes and had a severe storm and came home to find our front door wide open! We learned that lesson quick, if you don't shut it hard enough, it doesn't latch.
