I must have my coffee in the AM, and sometimes the PM!! Deck 9 Aft near the Mickey pool, is a self serve beverage station. Cold drinks, teas, coffee, milk etc...

Not a chance, we can conform quite easily. They don't want ice or loose water in them, we won't put any in. I really don't care if my beer is warm or cold. We might be too busy with the kids to even sit down to have a drink anyways LOL

Bring the kids swim suits and they can get in the pool if you like. The Mickey pool is right outside topsiders so you can have a beverage and watch the kids!

That sounds good to me. I like the idea of coffe and tea at the drink station. I'd be much happier if they had 32 ounce coffee mugs but that's OK. I have a mug in the early am, then one around 10am and that's all I drink until I come home from work. Then it's tea. Whatever flavor my hand reaches for works for me. I love green tea.

Mine is free as well just as long as I supply it. I have my own coffee maker at my "cubicle" but I only use it in the winter months LOL

Michele- I have Kingdom Keepers 1 and when I was at Disney this last time I just saw the advertisement for the second one...of course it didnt say when it was being released but they didnt have it anywhere at disney that I could find...i might have to go and pick it up from the bookstore

Congrats on finding some things while shopping...it stinks that you have to go back since some things do not fit

Is it available in bookstores? My DS would love it on the cruise!

Have any of you used the motion sickness patch? I have them for both of us, cost me $90, but I am so afraid to use them. I hear so many stories about the blurred vision and feeling sick after the cruise. It also says not to drink with it on (but meclizine says that too, and I have). I have a feeling we'll have to adjust to the land after the cruise regardless, but I am still so worried about wearing them, but I'm also getting really worried about being sick.

We have only used Bonine on our cruises and it worked great for all 8 of us - adults and kids. No side affects and no motion problems. I do plan to take it after the cruise for a few days this time so my shower isn't swaying when I return!

Too funny!!! Thanks you guys for making me feel better!!! Anyone else use them?

What do you guys do when you first board, you go straight up to eat and then to the pool? Do you explore the boat? Do you know when I can make an appt. at the salon? Do you unpack before the drill if your stuff is there? Sorry for so many questions, but we are getting so close, and this is our first time and we are clueless.

A couple of us head to Rockin Bar D if we have any dining snafus to fix; then to the spa if we need to make any appointments; also to Guest Services for any tastings (wine,martini, etc.) we want to sign up for. The guys and kids head to Topsiders, grab some food and a table. By the time we meet up with them, they have had a Bahama Mama or a cold beer! We get something to eat and the kids take off to explore.

I do like to unpack before the drill if possible so it's done, especially if you have early seating. Drill, sail-away and the rest. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it very quickly!

I forgot to add that the Twins lost last night but so did CWS so we are still in first place!!! Two games to go - Magic Number is 3!

I'm hosting the pre-party dinner for Homecoming tonight. DS and his date plus 3 other couples will come here for pictures and dinner before the dance. I'm using a Hollywood theme complete with red carpet down the driveway. DH will be the paparrazzi and a friend is helping me serve. Should be fun!

Then I'll be at the final (I hope) Twins game on Sunday! I don't want to have a tie-breaker in Chicago Tueday - my heart can't take it!!!

Good Morning Everyone. You guys really made some ground towared shutting down Chapter 13 yesterday. Way to go.

I won't be around much if at all today. This weekend is Homecoming at church. We had a guest paster for revival service last night. We have dinner at the church a Music Service tonight. Tomorrow is regular Sunday Morning Worship Service, another dinner right after church and then another guest paster for Sunday evening service. On top of all of this, this morning is our Angel Food Ministries food distribution. I'm heading out the door right now to go to that.

Morning everyone!

The boys and I are spending the weekend in Kentucky at the Creation Museum... what a wonderful place that is! We have been a couple of times, but this time the petting zoo is open, and they are looking forward to checking out the Zorse and the Zonkey.

I know after the hurricane you all were talking about fuel being a pain in the you know what in the southeast... has it gotten any better? Diesel of course being my need for the BEAST! Planning on fueling up at truck stops if need be, though I really don't much care for them as my hands get really gross from diesel fuel and oil spills (the fuel runs faster too...).

Have a LOVELY day you all!!!!! And did I see baby congrats out there? I didn't catch to whom, but babies are WONDERFUL things, and I am thankful that I am too old to have any more myself, though I would dearly love to, in some ways...

I was reading that some of you got the Kingdom keepers 2. Maggie got it back in Aug and loved it!!!! I'm just starting the first one. Very cool story for any Disney fan.
Could they possibly make a movie out of it?

It's a damp and drizzly morning, but that's Okay, we NEED it...a lot more then we'll get I think!

Have to run to Target once the boys get up and get moving. Then we'll come back, drag out the suitcases and start packing. I haven't even started putting together the FE gifts! I have everything, just haven't put them together!

Started KK2, but didn't get very far! I fell asleep! Colton has read KK1, so I am going to get Connor to read it. I think he would enjoy it. Colton ALWAYS has a book, right now 2, going, Connor NEVER has a book, unless it's required for class.

As for motion sickness, the only time I am sick is the first evening. I am good up until about 8pm. Then it just HITS me. Of course, that is the time we have dinner! Colton was fine the first trip, but he got sick the last time too. I am going to take something about 6pm and hope it keeps me even until bed time! The next day, I'll be totally fine!

Nancy, why don't you concider getting the boys a real set of walkie talkies? I know they are more money, but worth it! With having 2 boys ourselves, we have gone through the walkies, and the best thing we did was get the real ones. I did a quick search on Amazon, and there are a lot of diffferent systems starting at $20! I like this one because you have a base for Mom and Dad to listen to the kids and know where they are!

However, you could get 2 sets of radios and as long as everyone is on the same channel, everyone can hear each other.

Now you all have me thinking...I was going to wear my black dress, but I wore that for the last cruise, so I was going to wear my blue dress, but now everyone is wearing black! So, should I wear MY black dress??? OH! and what's the scoop on pantyhose?? To wear or not to wear??

Hi all, I just got an email from allen. I am trying to learn how to navigate this thread. I am so excited about the upcoming cruise. I have been trying to make some reservations on the boat. Kinda late though. I never got the tickets and the confirmation numbers untill last week. Even though I booked 2 years ago on the last cruise. I moved the reservation to this one and my travel agency dropped the ball.

Has anyone taken the swim with the rays on castaway cay? I did the one in
grand Cayman Island it was great. Not to sure about this one.
