It's a damp and drizzly morning, but that's Okay, we NEED it...a lot more then we'll get I think!

As for motion sickness, the only time I am sick is the first evening. I am good up until about 8pm. Then it just HITS me. Of course, that is the time we have dinner! Colton was fine the first trip, but he got sick the last time too. I am going to take something about 6pm and hope it keeps me even until bed time! The next day, I'll be totally fine!


Now you all have me thinking...I was going to wear my black dress, but I wore that for the last cruise, so I was going to wear my blue dress, but now everyone is wearing black! So, should I wear MY black dress??? OH! and what's the scoop on pantyhose?? To wear or not to wear??

I'm not wearing black... well, maybe a black skirt... but not a black top... and there will be NO panty hose here...sorry folks we're in the tropics... and that's a no-no!!!!..By the way... how many peeps will know you are wearing the same dress this cruise? I can't wear heels anyway... so will have on my sandles! Hey... we're on vacation!

Hi, I hope you enjoy the creation museum. We have gone there on a field trip my son loved it. I am from KY so it wasn't that far to go. Lots of gas in the area. runs abou 3.56 and D is 3.87

I forgot to add that the Twins lost last night but so did CWS so we are still in first place!!! Two games to go - Magic Number is 3!

I'm hosting the pre-party dinner for Homecoming tonight. DS and his date plus 3 other couples will come here for pictures and dinner before the dance. I'm using a Hollywood theme complete with red carpet down the driveway. DH will be the paparrazzi and a friend is helping me serve. Should be fun!

Then I'll be at the final (I hope) Twins game on Sunday! I don't want to have a tie-breaker in Chicago Tueday - my heart can't take it!!!

Has anyone taken the swim with the rays on castaway cay? I did the one in
grand Cayman Island it was great. Not to sure about this one.

Hey Patty... We did the rays on Castaway Cay in 06... I personally really enjoyed getting to feed them... and swim with them. They are such soft and different creatures!

The boys and I are spending the weekend in Kentucky at the Creation Museum... what a wonderful place that is! We have been a couple of times, but this time the petting zoo is open, and they are looking forward to checking out the Zorse and the Zonkey.

I know after the hurricane you all were talking about fuel being a pain in the you know what in the southeast... has it gotten any better? Diesel of course being my need for the BEAST! Planning on fueling up at truck stops if need be, though I really don't much care for them as my hands get really gross from diesel fuel and oil spills (the fuel runs faster too...).

Have a LOVELY day you all!!!!! And did I see baby congrats out there? I didn't catch to whom, but babies are WONDERFUL things, and I am thankful that I am too old to have any more myself, though I would dearly love to, in some ways...

I was reading that some of you got the Kingdom keepers 2. Maggie got it back in Aug and loved it!!!! I'm just starting the first one. Very cool story for any Disney fan.
Could they possibly make a movie out of it?

Hey Heidi!! The fuel situation is much better here, though diesel has been readily available the whole time. You should have no problems here. I understand they are still having problems with gas in Georgia though. Don't know about diesel there...

Hi all, I just got an email from allen. I am trying to learn how to navigate this thread. I am so excited about the upcoming cruise. I have been trying to make some reservations on the boat. Kinda late though. I never got the tickets and the confirmation numbers untill last week. Even though I booked 2 years ago on the last cruise. I moved the reservation to this one and my travel agency dropped the ball.

Aboard Patty!! We did the stingray adventure at CC a couple of years ago. My only suggestion is do it early. The longer you wait, the more stirred up the water is and it becomes more difficult to see.

Nancy, why don't you concider getting the boys a real set of walkie talkies? I know they are more money, but worth it! With having 2 boys ourselves, we have gone through the walkies, and the best thing we did was get the real ones. I did a quick search on Amazon, and there are a lot of diffferent systems starting at $20! I like this one because you have a base for Mom and Dad to listen to the kids and know where they are!

However, you could get 2 sets of radios and as long as everyone is on the same channel, everyone can hear each other.

Now you all have me thinking...I was going to wear my black dress, but I wore that for the last cruise, so I was going to wear my blue dress, but now everyone is wearing black! So, should I wear MY black dress??? OH! and what's the scoop on pantyhose?? To wear or not to wear??

Have to run to Target once the boys get up and get moving. Then we'll come back, drag out the suitcases and start packing. I haven't even started putting together the FE gifts! I have everything, just haven't put them together!

Started KK2, but didn't get very far! I fell asleep! Colton has read KK1, so I am going to get Connor to read it. I think he would enjoy it. Colton ALWAYS has a book, right now 2, going, Connor NEVER has a book, unless it's required for class.

the only reason why I bought a black dress is that if I will ever wear it again, it's more likely that I will wear a black one and not the blue one. But if you already have the blue dress, you should wear that! I am not sure what we are going to do. I have radios, enough for one for each of us. I also have a home intercom system, just plug it into the wall and we're good to go. I am not so concered with the boys when they are around during the day, I am more concerned at night! LOL Our rooms are side by side, but not connecting. I figure if I brought my intercoms, then I could set it on "listen". It then works like a baby monitor. If I hear something I shouldn't, I can just walk next door and take care of it...or turn it off of "listen" and yell at them that way! LOL I bought a dry erase board at the Dollar Tree yesterday, so they could leave notes, and I want the CMs to show me how the boys can leave messages on our stateroom phone. And can I pick up any house phone and retrieve my messages? I need to know that too. In all honesty, I can see them spending "some" time in the clubs, but not a whole lot. I more likely see them hooking up with some of the other Parrothead Kids, and hanging out together.

Nancy, we went through SEVERAL of those cheap-o walkie sets before we finally just bit the bullet and bought them a nicer set. Besides, the nicer ones you can use as a family on outings. (your at the park and he takes one of the boys this way and you take the other that way) I know, cell phones work too! we use them all the time in the truck club. we'll have 10 trucks together, and you can just say something once instead of calling everyone! LOL They are sort of like a modern day CB! and of course, the range on the FRS Radios is further then the kiddie ones.

Okay, no hose and I'm going with the blue dress....I think....LOL
